SEE UPDATE. UPDATE: Was so excited to receive these however finally open the package after just barely a couple weeks of receiving and there were white worms. I immediately took the bag out and threw it in the dumpster. Came inside and contacted Amazon because it is a rather expensive product. Amazon would not replace or refund without a picture! Who the heck is going to stop and grab their phone and take pictures of bugs of worms that are scurrying about? Most of us would just get that product right out of the house and into the trash just like I did. Now they are telling me there is nothing they can do without a picture because it is a non-refundable item! Can’t wait to contact the Department of Health about this! That is my next call right now!!!!!!!Honestly, when I clean, it’s like I’m overturning a cemetery throughout my house. My dog never eats bones I buy her (maybe a million dollars worth now), but buries them everywhere!!! Yet, I still buy them. To be fair, she does like the Greenies too & although they’re highly recommended, these here are rated higher. And soooo healthy, vet recommended! Double win… she EATS them too!! Win!
My dog passionately loves his chew. Chewing a Veggiedent is one of the highlights of my dog’s day. He starts to remind us that it’s time for his chew a half hour before by going to his chew place (one of our chairs) and giving us meaningful glances. He knows the word chew, the spelling C.H.E.W., and even variants that sound like chew, such as shoe and achoo; that’s how much he loves these things. They have kept his back teeth nice and clean. I still need to brush the front teeth because he doesn’t chew with them and he has a tendency to make tartar. But these work very well overall and keep his breath tolerable. I would however recommend that dogs are watched while they are consuming these…mine had a piece stuck in his throat that I had to pull out once when he bit off more than he could chew.
Cleans Teeth Well – Vet Recommended These. After struggling with getting our dogs to be compliant and using a toothbrush and toothpaste we found this was the way to go. Our dogs love the flavor and scent of these chews and we find that it does help keep their teeth white and prevent plaque. The value for money is really good. It recommends that you feed them to your dog daily but we stretch it out to every other day in order to last longer and find that it doesn’t change the effectiveness of the product.These were actually recommended by our vet who mentioned that most teeth cleaning products are a scam but recommended CET as a trusted brand we could rely on to clean our dogs teeth. We have found this to be the case.CET does have some stronger chews for large dogs that we have since switched to, as if you have an eager eater these go fairly quickly. We find that a harder chew does last longer and therefore cleans their teeth a little better
Happy dog / Clean teeth. Jones, our big standard poodle, asks for his Veggiedent every night before settling down for the evening. He loves them, and they help keep his teeth clean and white. Soon after we have supper, he goes to the cabinet we keep them in and barks politely, wags his tail, takes his Veggiedent and prances to his favorite spot to chew it.
These chews are VOHC approved. Before buying these, I did tons of research. I have a small dog who needs regular dental cleanings. The vet recommended looking for treats and chews that are listed on VOHC’s list (Veterinary Oral Health Council). I have tried numerous chews on their list and these are the only ones both of my dogs like. My dogs are 11 and 14 pounds so I break one treat into two pieces.
Dog loves them. I bought the small beef flavor chews for our 20-lb dog after they were recommended by her vet to replace the ones I had been previously using.The old chews were not Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) approved and these are so I was happy to make the switch.My dog loves them, thinks they are treats and is happy to eat it every night. She maybe eats it a little too fast, but better than refusing to eat it. I’ve added these to my subscriptions and have never had a problem.Now how well they work – I can’t really tell you. But if my vet and the VOHC say they’re working, I’ll take their word for it.
My dog loves these. While the goal is to keep his teeth cleaned, he stands at the cupboard and cries until I give him one so if nothing else, the taste is exceptional to him at least it is a little pricey, but we’ll see if it keeps his teeth clean going forward
Healthy, take a while to chew, and my dog loves them. My dog and previous one love these long-lasting veggie treats. Cheapskate that I am, I buy the economical 2.2 pounds of large-size veggie dents and then use my sharp pruning shears to cut them into thirds–the right size for my 30-pound Hachi’s daily, gum-preserving treat.

But since using these chews I don’t even have to bother brushing their teeth anymore. These chews take care of plaque buildup and freshen their breathe. And the dogs love them. If you are on the fence about trying them don’t hesitate. I’ve tried other brands of enzymatic dog chews. Non of them worked as well as these do. Give them a try! You won’t be disappointed!

Bye bye BAD BREATH. My precious pug had the most horrific breath. Her Trainer recommended these dental chews and they’ve worked like a dream. I am thrilled that Virbac offers this vegetarian option, as my dog has sensitivity to various meat proteins. The fact that these chews help reduce plaque and tartar while freshening bad breath, is such a bonus. My girl looks forward to one each day and I look forward to some kisses without falling over!
Good. My dog loves them- Has a very sensitive stomach with treats and things alike and these have never made him sick. Eats them so fast and they don’t smell terrible
Good to prevent tartar. These are useful but a bit expensive.
Vet approved by my vet. My Golden loves these. Works better than any other product I have used. He is 9 and keeps the tarter down on his teeth.

Have helped significantly with my dogs teeth. These worked so well. They’re so easy to use, unlike brushing which I’ve tried a million different ways. They seem to be easy to chew, not too thick, and the dogs must love the taste because they get so excited to have them. I only give them one to two times a week and my dogs teeth are noticably whiter. My 4-year old had minor tartar build up that is now completely gone after using this just a handful of times. Highly recommend, worth the price IMO.
