U.S. Pool Supply 1-1/2″ x 50′ Heavy Duty Blue PVC Swimming Pool Backwash Hose with Hose Clamp

Heavy and works well! See additional TIPS regarding drainage requirements. No problems, heavy plastic, does the job. What’s great about this type of hose is that it collapses flat and is easily rolled back up and takes hardly any space whatsoever. The only thing I would say is buy 100′, you will probably wish you did. I ended up buying another hose that is 100′ anyway as the 50′ didn’t reach where I needed to go to drain my pool. Check with your city requirements for draining a pool as each city may be different. I know some cities will not allow you to drain to the curb/ gutter.I wasn’t sure so I googled it and didn’t find much about my city’s requirements and my city isn’t open Friday, Sat. & Sun, therefore I opted to drain directly into my sewer’s 3″ clean out, which wasn’t bad as it is an ABS pipe which seems to have about 5′ or so straight down before it connects to the MAIN SEWER, so there wasn’t any experience with any foul sewage. Older home sewage clean outs aren’t usually as pleasant. Working well. I was looking for a long hose to reach the street from our filter. It has ripped at the seam where it connected to the filter but I was able to trim it off. It has also formed a small hole close to the connection of the filter but is holding up well. Even with the small issues I would purchase again if need be. Seems to be much better quality than the one you can buy at Lowe’s and the length was great.

Did the Job. Developed a small leak at the crease during the first use. However it is a good value for the price and it did the job.

Good price. We really liked it it’s a little heavier than the ones we buy at Lowe’s and the price was excellent we use it for our pool so from now on I know where I’m getting my pool hose from thank you

Hard to find item at pool store. None of the local pool suppliers by me carried this item and the one that did wanted 60 dollars for it! This item worked good, not thin or cheap

Drain hose. Works great

Horrible product. I used the back wash hose once, and it sprung leaks in 3 different places. Who knows how long this was sitting in a warehouse because the quality was terrible.

Backhose for pool. Worked very well all summer. Will use it again next summer!

Do not buy this product. I purchased this product in August 2024 but did not open or try to use until my pool was closed in October. I did not expect to have a problem but as soon as I turned on the pump flush the product burse open in several places. It is described as “heavy duty” but is definitely not heavy duty. It is very thin and cannot handle any pressure at all. The return time is only 30 days so I cannot get a return/refund. The website description is not accurate. The 1 & 1/2 x 50′ US Pool Supply hose is a piece of junk.

Not Heavy Duty. Instant leaks. Returning and purchasing the “Extra” Heavy duty version made by Black Rhino, sold by same Amazon storefront. Customer service was friendly and accommodating. Suggested to the seller they re-consider carrying this product based on other amazon reviews stating similar experiences.

BUYER BEWARE. BEWARE!Busted mid way during first use….garbage product, UTTER WASTE OF MONEY!After using a competitors hose (great quality from competitor) i decided to pickup a longer hose so I could run the water to the proper drain instead of on my lawn.This hose here was double the length for half the price! Wow too good to be true I thought. And it certainly was.During the VERY FIRST USE, the hose busted open at the mid point and watered my lawn almost exactly where my good quality hose from a competitor stops due to length. I ended up watering my lawn.I almost laughed but remembered I wasted money. DO NOT BUY THIS HOSE!

Good value. Perfect length for my needs, attached very quickly with included hose clamp.
