Flexible and easy to move around. I replaced an old hose that kinked too easy and had stiffened over the years. I was not pleased to have to buy a black hose. It has the blue stripes but is mostly black, but it works fine. It will kink, but because it is so flexible, pulling on it will remove the kink. It rolls up on my reel with little effort. I looked around and read lots of reviews before settling on this one. I am beyond retirement age and hope this will be the last hose I have to buy, but I don’t want to have to pay and arm and a leg for quality. This was doable. I got the 75 foot hose and it is plenty long enough yet still easy enough to maneuver around my yard.

Better make sure. I ordered this as a replacement for a split factory connector hose on a hose real. Or so I thought. Like so many others, I got my package, opened it up for a quick glance and said “yeah, that’s it.” Then I set it on a garage shelf until I needed it. *Note: I order things when I “see it coming” so I don’t have to stop everything and wait for an order to arrive. So today was the day that I needed this. I snatched it off the shelf, went to connect it and it was the wrong end. These “real to faucet/hydrant” connector hoses are most always 2 female-end hoses. NOPE, not this one. Then I pulled the cover back a bit to get a good look at the connector. DANG! The brass end was crushed! So, guess who was disappointed in spite of advanced preparation. This went straight back. All I’m saying is… better make sure! Buyer beware.
Replacing cracked hose. I will be interested to see how well this hose holds up in the desert sun. Replaced a cracked leader hose with this one, I wish I had purchased a longer version since 3 feet doesn’t allow any movement from the slicker to the reel.
Purchased for draining gray water. I was looking for something to drain the gray water from concessions stands. I wanted something black as to ensure all employees knew this would be the hose for the drain and not use as a fresh water hose. Pricing for this size and color hose was astronomical at all places I looked such as Home Depot, Lowes and Tractor Supply so I came to good ole Amazon. I must say the price is the best around. The hose arrived and was shockingly lightweight. I would not necessarily say this hose is kink free as one has already gotten a kink, but in all fairness there is a lot of foot traffic and such that tends to walk on these hoses so they get more abuse than an average hose would. I feel like for normal wear and tear this hose would be perfect and well worth the money.
Still kinks. Hose is definitely a lighter weight than your standard rubber hose. Still has a tendency to kind, especially when there is no water/pressure in the hose. If it lasts as long as my old hose, I won’t complain.

Best hose ever. Very nice flexible hose and does not kink. The reviews that says this hose kinks must not know what a hose kink is or reviewing a different hose. Any hose can kink of pinched or twisted. This hose is very flexible and easy to handle. I’ve used it in single digit temperatures and it still is very flexible.

LEAKS at both brass fittings. This is the second Fevone garden hose I have purchased. The first was a 100′ x 5/8″ hose with aluminum fittings. It faded (was bright orange but has faded from the sun to white) but has worked well. When I needed another hose, I thought to buy a duplicate only to find the price had increased by 50%. I searched for other Fevone hoses and settled on a 75′ x 5/8″ model with brass fittings that was priced close to the price of the original 100′ hose. I ordered the hose and received it just in time for the project. I attached the hose and started using it, only to find it leaking at the brass fittings. Even after replacing the hose washers with new washers, it still leaked. I had to use the leaking hose as I had no time to replace it at that point. I sought assistance through troubleshooting, but they recommended only changing the washer and/or checking for kinks…which I had already addressed. I saw no way to contact the seller for options and so I saw no option but to keep and use the leaking hose. I will consider this before I purchase my next hose.

I also have owned dozens of hoses in my 58 years, and feel let down by so many that promise things like “this is the last hose you will ever buy.” (One from Home Depot was actually branded, “The last hose you will ever buy.” It is no longer with us, so to speak.)Many hoses claim they are easy, flexible, strong, and reliable. This one actually is. Supple rubber, flexible and easy to move, lightweight, and yet strong. Instantly uncoils with no “memory.” Rarely pinches (and only due to “user error,” so to speak.). Sturdy connectors. I had to use a wrench to tighten it hard to the spigot because the spigot was old and corroded; no problem. I’ve used it for watering, car washing, pressure washing (hooking up to a pressure washer), and other things, and it is the best hose I have ever owned.I have the 100 foot length, which provides 50 more feet to crimp and bend and pinch and fail than a 50 foot hose. Nope. Easy to extend, easy to wind back up.A hose should not be something you notice. It should uncurl, not pinch, and just work without forcing you to “fight” it or struggle to not cause a pinch that cuts off the water. I highly recommend this hose.

You get what you pay for. After about one year and one month, the brass connector on the hose box end just snapped in two when I turned the assembly at about a 30 degree angle. No excessive force was used, the brass fitting simply cracked off. After seeing how flimsy the brass fitting was, I can see why this didn’t stand the test of more than 13 months.
