Very Effective. I live in an apartment complex for active seniors and lived here quite happily for 5 1/2 years with never a sight of a bug. Management retained a pest control company that came every three months to put the preventive gel around and to take care of any active problems as well–though I never had any.Much to everyone’s disgust, the management has relaxed their standards, probably wanting to save money. We were all immediately overrun, and by about six weeks ago, even the most immaculate housekeepers had a real problem. Management sent employees around with bombs, which did no good at all. Purchased sprays such as Black Flag were also unhelpful.I purchased this product and set out all twelve of the baits. Just to give an idea, they come in a cellophane inner envelope. I tore it open but left the baits in there on the counter as I was setting each bait. When I returned a few minutes later for more baits, the cellophane bag was full of the nasty creatures!! I put on rubber gloves, killed off the swarming bugs, and continued to set out the baits. The product comes with a helpful diagram on the back showing where they should be placed–kitchen and bathroom.For two weeks, I was sweeping up dead and dying roaches from the kitchen floor. Over the past few days, I have seen a marked decrease in their number. I believe in this product and believe it works. I am going to purchase some of their gel bait as well and try to get it up behind the bulkhead and soffit above the kitchen cabinets. I believe the nest is in that void.Other things that will help to boost the effectiveness of these baits–or so I believe:1) I leave nothing out in the kitchen. A single crumb will feed them for days on end.2) I now wash my dishes after each meal, and when I sit down to a meal, I try to ensure that my pots and pans are clean before I go to eat. I am getting some of that Dawn Dish Foam so that I can wash up as I go.3) The kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and tub/shower should be wiped dry after any use at all. Some microfiber towels are helpful. The roaches crave water.4) They got into my kitchen sponge, kept in a holder by the sink. Now, when I have finished with the sponge, dish scrubber, and dish brush, I rinse thoroughly and spray with vinegar and water. They hate vinegar. Equal parts white vinegar and water.5) I have a garbage disposal but now keep the sink stopper in place at all times, since they seem to crawl through the pipes. Same for tub and bathroom sink.6) Coordinating with your neighbors can help. I have convinced one of my neighbors to put out the baits also. We became convinced that they would move back and forth between our apartments.This is certainly more effective than having one guy come in and do three floors of a nine story building every six months. They do have a strong chemical odor. I do not know why they claim this product has no odor. It has a very strong moldy chemical smell if you are chemical sensitive. I could only stand them in the home for three days. After that I had to limit them to the garage and main room with a door above the garage we had seen a beastie in. We taped that door off due to the odor.The rest of the home we made Botox putty balls (the recipe is not hard to find – wear gloves and keep them safe from pets though) which seem to work just as well.I would give this product five stars if they hadn’t made me so ill too. I felt noticeably better when they were removed and the breeze came through. I hope there is no lasting damage..
Late. I hate roaches and paid extra for same day delivery.Thanks to LaserShip it arrived late the next day.So much for the shipping.This product is great. After placing these around the kitchen cabinets and countertops the little SOB’s are almost gone.
It works but only if the roaches find it appealing. Most roaches did not find the bait attractive whatsoever. Nevertheless, those who did, super died. They were super dead. It does work to kill them, but not all roaches will take the bait.

Works as promised. Had a bit of a surge in roaches in our city. Been killing the big ones but thousands of little ones scurring in bark in plantars. Put these out and went out at night with a flash light to see if any action and it was a feeding frenzy. Next night only 10% of action from night before and no scurrying in the bark. Third night, no action and no sign of roaches of any size. And these will last a year to pick up straglers and new hatchlings? This is a bonafide game changer!
Perfect For Getting Rid Of Roaches. You must discontinue use of sprays or they will repel roaches away from the Combat trays. Distribute Combat wherever roaches were seen, especially under sinks. You may experience a minor increase at first as the roaches believe they found food. Do not use with other products.If your landlord offers exterminating service, opt-out. You will notice an increase as other apartments are sprayed. Sprays chase roaches. They do not kill them unless directly sprayed. You may have to put down fresh Combat trays.When Combat was created, science reporters explained Combat and how to use it. If used properly, it is the only product that works. Other products, including professionals, just chase them around.

Must Have. I always use these traps in every area where water is present. However, my local big box store raised their prices considerably. Amazon still carries them at a decent price so from now on I will be ordering them on Amazon as I do change them out every quarter.

Tried approx. 8 other pesticides, including gels, sprays, baits… these tiny little “traps” make them go through a circular contraption; as they go in, they are coated with insecticide that they take back to the nest. A really troubling and scary infestation was eliminated in approx. 3 months. – What happened was, we had to move my mom from a roach infested apartment to a detached single family home. Even though I tried to take every precaution (spraying everything and washing all clothes) we still experienced an infestation. These were german cockroaches and even when I saw them and sprayed them with the traditional bug spray, they just got up and moved on. I think they even started to flip me off. Tried all the gels, powders, sprays; even a bomb. No go. Then I read a review from a person who lived in an apartment complex and this was all that worked. Exhausted, I ordered 3 packs. By the second pack, they were all but gone. I did the last pack just to make sure and yes, we saw a few, but then nothing. It has now been over a year (sorry so late) and I have tested the waters. I’ve purposely let out some food with a Blink camera recording – no more roaches. I highly recommend this product!What I also like is that the insecticide is contained in a little plastic container that the dogs cannot easily get to.

These things really work. We have been using these things for several years. I have found them to be very effective. We place them in the usual locations – inside kitchen cabinets, in bathrooms behind the toilet, in the pantry. They last about 6 months then you should replace them as they lose effectiveness. Bottom line – the only roaches we saw were dead ones.

It’s helped a lot. I’ve had a roach issue for months maybe even a year now. The pests just wouldn’t go away. I’ve used other products and baits that were good but weren’t enough. So far I feel like this is working the best. I haven’t seen them around and also you will see them starting to crawl out around the house helplessly which is a sign they’re dying. Other than that I’m happy with this and hopefully I won’t see anymore at all
