Chlorine tabs for our horse troughs. We use these to keep our many 100-gallon horse troughs clean in the summer on our farm in NJ. Otherwise, the troughs fill with algae and have to be scrubbed and emptied twice a week, which uses a lot of water and makes a mess of the ground (because it’s where the horses stand to drink. Found this hack on the internet many years ago, and the horses like the slightly salty taste of the water. The chlorine odor vaporizes very quickly so as not to offend the horses from drinking. The tabs last a month or so. And this is the cheapest way to go compared to pool stores.

Tablets for my water fountain. Hard to find 1 inch tablets. Almost no one carries them. All chlorine tablets are over priced and these are no exception the rich get richer.

Lid is terrible. Maybe I just got a bum bucket but it demands blood to open the lid. I ended up dumping it all into a 3 gallon plastic bucket with lid.

Chlorine tablets are the perfect size, for the reason why I bought them which was to use on my inflatable hot tub. the box it came in on the other hand is extremely hard to open, nearly broke my fingers opening the box! After opening the box 3 times it broke cause it’s made of cheap plastic not it still does the job of keeping the tablets inside. Sorry I can’t speak on the longevity of the chlorine tablets in the water, the tablet holder I have for the water is… Special. Might update this later when I get a new tablet holder for the water.

Works Great. These work as they should, but when I opened the container (not easy), they were all still intact, not broken up or wore down with a bunch of powder at the bottom. I do recommend.

Great price for name brand chlorine. Chlorine is so expensive, so I was really happy to find this 5 lb bucket at about $15 cheaper than other brands for the same size—and it’s name brand Clorox.It works well and keeps our hot tub water nice and clear. We have a small inflatable hot tub and only need to use one tablet a week, so the bucket lasts us almost a full year (we take it down for a few months in the summer).Definitely worth the money for the price and how long it lasts.

Clorox Chlorine Tablet Review. If you are looking for an easy way to chlorinate your pool, these are the trick. They dissolve slow when you add them to the dispenser and usually last up to a week. For a novice pool owner, these tabs made it easier to treat our pool without over exposure to more chemicals. The bucket will last a long time. We used one bucket for the entire summer season, and still have plenty left over for next year. Clorox is a trusted brand so I will be purchasing again.
