Helped with dander after a few baths. My male pit mix was developing big flakes after using Tropiclean Papaya 2 in 1. He did fine with the Tropiclean for white fur though. My first impression of the Burts Bees oat and honey was that it was very watery and had no scent. Because it was so thin, I needed to apply a good amount, then used dog bath mitts to scrub and lather. There isn’t a good way to wash the paws with Burts, so I used the thicker Tropiclean for the feet and in between toes. It took a couple of separate baths, but the Burts took care most of the flakes and left his coat nice and smooth and smelling au naturale – which he probably appreciates. The only downside I found is the amount of product you need to use. The price is good at $6-$7, so I might buy it again.
Great for the price. Price is affordable and perfect for my German Shepard. So our dog is roughly 82ish lbs and a super furry dog (double coated). So I’ve done waterless shampoo but it didn’t really help with the dry skin. I assume it didn’t penetrate well into his fur (super thick). We had to the okd-school regular bath at our local pet store. You definitely have to use a lot of this shampoo especially it’s a big dog and depending on its fur. But after we dried him off, he felt so soft and smelled cleaned! The scent isn’t strong pretty light and has the “you know your dog has gotten bath” smell lol. No strong smell which I liked and I bet my dog likes too.Recommend.
Changed the ingredients. The original bottle that I got in January was good/had good ingredients but they’ve changed the formula which is disappointing.

Works great on our dog. So we’ve been using this about 5 months now on our beagle ( once a week- monthly ,depending on the need),and no more doggy dandruff! Her fur is so shiny and soft now and we are all very happy 😊. Here’s what you need to know though:1. There no scent,so your dog is gonna smell like…well, a dog when you’re done,not a bouquet of roses. I find this a positive since we don’t think added fragrance is good for them.2. It is verrrry thin liquid. I would recommend pouring what you need on the dog not your hands for minimal waste.3. There is zero bubbles. That makes it more challenging seeing where the soap is,but I just drizzle across the back,scrub her all down and rinse well and not being able to see it hasn’t been a problem.The bottle is really lasting too,so the price really isn’t an issue.In conclusion,the pros definitely outweigh the cons for us and we will continue to purchase it for our dog!

Perfect for our Golden Doodle. This shampoo lathers well and soothes our Golden Doodle’s skin. It cleans and provides a pleasant scent. Our 3 yr old puppy has longer hair (full breed). I like how this shampoo leaves his hair soft and not brittle.
Non Irritating. Took me a while to find a soap that didn’t irritate my dogs. This one is great! Doesn’t have a super strong smell but it feels natural and healthy and gets the job done!
No dandruff. I got a puppy who had dandruff and smelled terrible. Ordered this after reading a ton of reviews washed her up and boom dandruff was gone, no itchy skin and no smell !! It got her nice and clean and kept her clean for over a week. Would recommend over and over again.

Great shampoo & Whole Dog Health. The best. No irritation, simple, natural and smells nice. I add cedar wood into the bottle as a tick prevention for me as he gets his tick, heart worm and flea medication orally.FYI anti itch? No artificial ingredients yes that’s a plus, but coconut oil and krill oil keep your dogs coat soft and itch free & healthy Plus healthy diet. Think about it would you eat cereal every day?They need veggies, healthy oils a multivitamin and real meat source too as well as brushing their teeth.
