Not used yet for my puppy on vet advice. Using one specifically for puppy.
Mostly satisfied with the product but. We subscribed this doggy toothpaste for a long time. The toothpaste works okay not magical. It is good for daily maintenance. The package is frequently damaged even though the item is fine. Damaged package doesn’t make me feel satisfied fully.
Puppy loves it but Upsets his stomach. My four month old puppy thinks this is a treat. He will sit patiently and wait for this to be rubbed on his gums. Haven’t gotten them used to a toothbrush yet, but that will be next.Update: About 2 hours later he has diarrehea due to Sorbitol being the 1st ingredient. I tried it over a couple days and every time he was sick. I received a full refund.

Chicken flavored toothpastes all smell awful, I think that’s just a feature of it, but my dog does love it. It has the same consistency as human toothpaste, it’s easy to do, and it does a great job of keeping Orisa’s teeth clean. Her gums and teeth are healthy and clean, and she has a great time getting her teeth cleaned.Keep in mind though that my dog has had her teeth brushed since she was a puppy and is happy to have it done with a toothbrush, so I can’t speak on how well it would work if you let them lick it like some toothpastes recommend. I will say that if your dog lets you brush their teeth but you can’t stand the weird smell their breath has afterward, Vets Best makes a toothpaste that is less effective but makes their breath much nicer. Orisa also loves the taste of the Vets Best toothpaste.

My wife uses this on our Malshih and he loves it. They have kept his teeth nice and super clean without any over powering fragrance or odor. He only smells like he’s eaten chips or twisties when we use the chicken flavor. Do keep in mind my wife brushes his teeth everyday so don’t expect super clean teeth with occasional once a week sessions. We have purchased these multiple time so it has been our go to for our boy.
Arm & Hammer Enzymatic Dog Toothpaste. My sheltie LOVES the taste of this toothpaste and it does a great job of cleaning her teeth. About 2 years ago the vet said that she needed to have her teeth professionally cleaned and gave us a price of several hundred dollars. So I ordered this toothpaste, got some soft adult human toothbrushes and spent maybe 2 to 3 minutes every night brushing her teeth. I started very gently and kept it a pleasant experience. We also added giving her some non-rawhide chews. When we returned to the vet and he checked her teeth he said: “What did you do? They look great and she does not need the professional cleaning. Keep up whatever you are doing.” I have since added using a small child-size brush on just her front teeth and also using the Jasper finger brush with the A & H toothpaste. Now I need to train her to smile and show her “pearls”.
Excellent product. This product is excellent. It definitely does the job of cleaning your dogs teeth, gums, and tongue. You’re sure to remove left over food in the mouth and the toothpaste is a great way to prevent oral problems. And on top of all that, it’s a great buy and value for your money. If I could give this 10 stars, I would.
