needs better pockets. I like this overall, but the zipper pocket in the back of the waistband is hard to access and the pocket on the left leg is sewn on upside down. Not sure if that was intentional. I have another brand with a “secret” pocket in the front waistband which is convenient to stash license and credit card when I go out so I can ditch the purse. I miss that feature here. Otherwise this is a very comfortable and good-looking skort and I get compliments on it whenever I wear it! And I have worn both skorts extensively this summer!

Ordered two in different sizes, both were awkward. I ordered two of this skirt/skort in different sizes. They run a little small. The built in short is uncomfortable and poorly constructed. The skirt’s pockets do not lay flat, no matter the size. It is a little long. It’s just completely unflattering whether it fits or is a bit large. I kept one and have worn it twice. I felt uncomfortable both times and have thrown it away- returning the other one that was unworn. The idea is fantastic and the description and pictures are great. Real life, this is cheap and it shows. Spend a few extra dollars and get something well made. This isn’t it. I gave it three stars because it’s not the worst clothing item I’ve ever ordered on Amazon, and perhaps my size 10 person isn’t the best shape to be wearing this. I ordered a large and extra large and kept the XL but as stated, threw it away

This skort is just what I needed. Edited 07/11/24: I just want to add that I’ve purchased three more of these skorts (purple, black, and blue) and will likely be buying a couple more in lighter colors. They wash & dry easily (cold water wash, low heat dry) and are just as nice as the day they arrived; no shrinkage or wrinkling noticed. They pair well with tees, tanks and some of my sleeveless “fishIng” type shirts in tropical prints. These skorts are helping me cope with this very hot and humid summer so much better than shorts and are way more versatile. I feel just a bit more “dressed up” wearing a skort than shorts. Buy these! You won’t regret it!I’m a curvy, “elderly” lady who walks her dog several miles every day and provides full time care for my 92 y/o Mom. Needless to say, I am in motion all day everyday; and in my NE FL climate it can be tricky to stay cool and comfortable for about 8 months of the year. I was looking for a versatile, age-appropriate (knee length) skort that I can wear during these hot and humid summer days/nights that looks stylish yet keeps me from roasting. This skort does the trick so far – I just received it this afternoon. The skorts hit about six inches above my knees and are not constricting nor do they ride up. The skirt itself is lightweight and cool, hits me mid-knee (I’m 5’7”) , yet covers a multitude of past sins – especially around my fluffy midsection. The elastic waistband is very comfortable with no binding. The side seam pockets are cute but probably won’t hold more than one or two keys or a credit card or a little bit of cash but that’s fine. The pockets on the shorts fit my cell phone perfectly and the left one, designed specifically for holding tennis or pickle balls, will not be used because I don’t do either of those sports and I carry my personal needs in a belt bag worn crossbody. I can’t speak to how it washes yet but I suspect it will be easy and laundered much the same as my swim suits or underwear. I am very happy so far and will be going back to order some solid colors and envision wearing these throughout all but the coldest months of the year – I bet they look great with a tee shirt and jean jacket! Looking forward to getting a lot of use out of these cute, adaptable skorts.

It isn’t enough of a bother for me to send back but if you need 2 pockets in the skirt and 2 pockets in the shorts, you might should only expect 3 usable pockets.I ordered black. It is made of a swimsuit feeling material so it will dry out quickly if it gets wet.Yes, I would recommend this skirt and yes, I would purchase again (I have another one coming later this week). all the perks but still returned it. I really wanted to like this skirt. It has POCKETS. It has a cell phone pocket in the shorts under the skirt, and on the other side it has a stretch pocket for tennis balls. The length was on the long side, and I liked that. It has a small pocket in the back. It was stretchy and comfy….but in the end I returned it. The way it is constructed leaves a visible edge across your backside where the yoke meets the skirt. It creates a wrinkle in the fabric that you can’t get rid of. The fabric was just a tiny bit too light and silky. And the color is pretty but kind of a different shade of blue that didn’t match any of the other blues in my closet. Even with the positives, I couldn’t see myself wearing it.

Comfy. I love the feel of it. Soft and flowing. The right length. I’m 4’10”. Color is pretty. I reordered I liked it so much. I don’t wear pants and the shorts are comfortable. I will say sometimes the right side rides up a little but no problem. Good quality. Works for chair yoga or casual dress. I ordered 2 sizes larger than what I normally wear in a skirt since it is stretchy. It feels silky almost. Washed well. Wrinkles go out in the dryer. Fits perfectly.

I am so happy with this purchase. I love these skort skirts!I bought two in the size recommended at extra large. I am 230 pounds. The fit around the waist was comfortable. I like the wide band but the pockets did pucker a bit. So I purchased a third skirt and xxl and even though the pockets don’t pucker, it’s a little bit of a smoother fit. The waist is too big even if I use the drawstring.They are so comfortable I feel so confident when I sit down that the skirts not hiking up the longer short underneath stays in place. I am very happy with this purchase.

Not a bad skirt, comfortable. This is a very comfortable skort. I am 5’5” and weigh 120lbs. I ordered the small and it fits perfectly.I gave it 4 stars because the material is very thin, though this also makes the garment light. When I put it on, my SO thought I was kidding when I said I was wearing it to work. He thought it was a slip! That’s pretty much what it feels like. Not a bad thing, just unexpected. It feels and wears like a slip. Outside pockets were great with no problems with bulk. And the pockets on the shorts were fine too.

I’ve been trying to adjust to this granny body that has taken over my once tiny 108# frame. I’ve felt like throwing a sheet over the whole thing out of frustration; but, that would ruin my fashionista reputation.Trying on that little skort (and buying it) was transforming because when I pulled that skort up, even though my legs showed, I. LOOKED. CUTE!!On my quest for identical cuteness since that original store only carried coral and black skorts last year, and in other colors I don’t like this year, I turned to Amz / Rufus. Here I found this adorable black flowered skort. I read the reviews and took a chance on it. Regardless of Amz alerting me I was ordering a size that was too big, I still ordered an XL because that’s what my first locally-purchased skorts were.The little black/white floral skort arrived today. I was smitten when I took it out of it’s cute little zippered bag that evoked quality right off the bat. The soft thickness of the fabric, the print… I held the skort up and noticed the little slits on each side, the grown up underoos underneath, the little zippered pocket on the back waist band. I thought “Oh, please, please, please fit me!!”Well, it did. Kinda. I have that lower belly flab, an “apron” people call it now, that lower inner tube that grabbed on and doesn’t want to go away. The bulge was not super obvious, but it still showed when I moved around in the skort. While other people might be okay with this look, I’m not. The skort also pulled a little across my widest parts and pulled open the side pockets. Hmmm. Not meI then checked to see what my back looked like. The skort layed flat against my swayed back in a flattering manner; but, I noticed a little wrinkle/hike up at the waistline due to the curve in my back.The waistband fit my waist comfortably; but, the skirt portion of the skort was too tight. This tells me that this adorable skort is created using a more straight-lined body than what I have.I am considering ordering the next size up but am afraid the waistband would be too big.NOTE: The black flower print is adorable and will hide my bulges better than a solid color.ALSO, after digging further, I found that VIODIA makes another style skort that is a little shorter, more flared, AND it has a horizontal (zipper) pocket at the front waist, not in the side seams where it would pull open. I may order that one as well since the flare would fit my curvy body better.
