Relieves Hot Spots on Pitbulls. June 16, 2023: This has been a great hot spot topical spray for my pitbull mix. He suffers from chronic fungal itching that we are trying to heal at the moment. Since we’ve been using it for 2 weeks it has numbed out the itching on the heavy hot spots on his chest and legs. We were able to finish 1 bottle in a month and a half, dousing the hot spot areas. There are a few photos of what his hot spots look like. His hot spots on the chest definitely do not look like theUPDATE: August 1, 2023Spray still works occasionally on his hot spots. Some days it works great to help him stop itching but some hot spots are stubborn and he’s still able to feel the itch after heavily dousing the area with the spray. We’ve noticed our pitbull is more allergic to being on grass and triggers his more severe allergies. This could vary between dogs and how bad their hot spots are. I still would recommend purchasing this product as it helped my dog during intense allergy seasons and his mild hot spots. Worked miracles on my dog’s hotspots. My boy loves to swim but he is an English Bulldog and has skin issues that get exacerbated from him being wet all summer. No matter how much I dry him with towels, he gets red patchy hotspots and his hair starts coming out. When I scratch him on the red area, he starts kicking, which lets me know I hit the sweet spot but also that he is very uncomfortable. I applied the Hotspot and Itch Relief spray as soon as I received it. He tried to run when he saw the bottle but I captured him, sprayed some on and rubbed it in. He stopped trying to escape. That tells me it felt good to him immediately. His skin started to look better after just a couple of days. Now when I take him swimming in the lake, I dry him off as much as possible and then spray his trouble spots. So far, so good. I’m pretty happy with this medicated spray.

Seems to work. I don’t know what the “flavor” category has to do with this stuff. It’s not for eating.Anyway, my dog was having problems with a hot spot behind his ear. I got ointment from the Vet, but I could only put it on twice a day. I bought this so I could put it on in between the ointment and it worked pretty well. It kept him from scratching as much but didn’t work very long. I don’t think there is anything that could keep him from scratching all the time. I will still use this when necessary.
Antibacterial spray. It doesn’t smell great but not too terrible, the important thing is that it works, and well. I have to spray it on a rag then wipe my pup with the rag cuz she hates spray but I’ll do it cuz this is about the only thing that keeps her from clawing herself to death.
Helps my kitty. I should have gotten the wipes for kitty. She has been licking her fur off her arms so I tried this and at first she headed to the hills from the spray. So I now spray a paper towel or napkin then I wiped her little arms.

He’s a 3 lb. Teacup Chihuahua that rules my house (in the best way!), and he prefers to do his “business” on “Doggie Lawn” hydroponic grass (expensive, but worth it), and he is also bathed about once a month at home to keep his skin and coat healthy. That being said, I’ve spent a lot of time on my deck this summer and I think I may have had a rogue flea or two hitch a ride on me into my home from the yard as there are a lot of neighborhood (dirty) stray cats that also love to hang out on my deck and in my yard lol!I noticed the other day that my dog, Dougal, was scratching and chewing at his hind leg and it freaked me out! I immediately gave him a bath, washed all of his bedding, my bedding, and everything he has sat on or been around. The bath revealed 1 flea. The itching continued though, as flea bites do itch. I ordered this product along with a few others and paid extra for the overnight delivery. THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKED to alleviate his itching and chewing at the bite. I received the spray this morning and I just sprayed his leg again for the second time a couple hours ago and this stuff is miraculous. After the first spray, he stopped chewing at the bite. After the second spray, same thing, only the area is also not as red/irritated as it was this morning. I can tell it’s giving him relief. Key thing though, read the directions and make sure that your dog or cat doesn’t lick at the area that you sprayed until after it’s dry. It dries pretty fast.If you are a dog lover, like me, and would do anything for your fur baby…buy this and keep it on hand for the unexpected bite, hot spot, etc. As a side note, for itching/skin irritation of any kind, especially if it’s really bad, you should also consult your vet and they may recommend additional medications – mine recommended a VERY SPECIFIC DOSE of children’s liquid Benadryl (dosing goes by the weight of your dog). Highly reccomend. This hot spot spray worked great. Stopped the itch within seconds (Lidocaine) and cleared rash overnight.Gave me first full night of sleep with out the thumping of dog scratching! Good stuff! Smells refreshing, spays easy.
amazing. My dog has an unexplained environmental allergy to something ever since we moved 4 months ago. She is to the point where she is losing her hair around her back end and she scratches and chews to the point where its raw and bleeding. Within 2 applications of this stuff, the chewing and scratching STOPPED COMPLETELY! It is a little messy especially if you have to apply in a place where gravity makes it drip, so have a rag handy but it’s worth it!!
Life saver! WORKS GREAT. I tried everything from allergy chews, probiotics, to multivitamins and NOTHING helped relieve my huskies itching and hotspots. My breeder recommended this and with one wash the scratching was basically GONE. It smells good (not a medicated scent), lathers great, left his fur soft and shiny, and good amount for the price. Works when other products dont. My dog started itching, and biting his behind leaving red marks and bald spots all over. He is on flea medication, and we bathe him in a natural flea repellant shampoo. So i didnt think it was fleas.His skin was red all over his behind. We tried a few shampoos to calm his skin that didnt work. We tried a few ointments. None of them really worked.We sprayed this on his booty in the am & pm for a few days in a row and magically… problem stopped. He stopped itching and biting. His skin cleared up and his patches healed.It is important to note that he HATES IT. Im pretty sure it stings when we first put it on because the second i release him he whimpers and rubs his body on EVERYTHING. Hes never done that with other products. After about 5 minutes thought he calms down and relaxes.
Worked after just one use. Our dog had a horrible rash that wasn’t getting better with normal dog shampoo or a hotspot treatment spray. I was skeptical because this recommends bathing once a day to treat hotspots, and bathing her daily isn’t realistic with my toddler running the house. Well, I used it on her once about a week ago and just gave her another bath before writing this. Her underbelly looks so much better!! She had started to lose hair where the rash was spreading. After the first use, it was already much less inflamed and back to her pale white/pink color. I’ve also noticed her licking much less. I’m looking forward to how the second bath will help her. Really works fast. My pup gets itchy in the winter and I give her oatmeal bathes every two weeks. I read the reviews and thought I really need to try this. She was hard itching at least 4x an hour. Amazing Product. I give my chocolate lab who has a skin condition unknown to vets and myself baths weekly. After spending over $500 dollars on different vet approved shampoos and shampoos provided by vets that have not work. I saw this shampoo with amazing reviews. I decided to give it a try and after only one wash, his itching has reduced. There is no bad smell from this shampoo and shine is his coat is amazing. You definitely get a great product for how much you’re spending. My does has a very clean smell.
Works Well, But Strong Scent. This hot spot and itch relief spray has been a lifesaver for my pet’s irritated skin! It soothes itching and reduces redness quickly, and I’ve noticed my dog licking and scratching less after just a few uses. The application is easy, and it dries fast without making the fur greasy. My only issue is the strong medicinal scent, which lingers for a while. While it works great, a milder fragrance would make it even better. Hot spot treatment. I have used this spray on my dog’s hot spot and so far so good. It does have a pleasant scent to it. Haven’t had any issues with the spray nozzle. Works as it should with alleviating itching and redness.
Great for pink itchy spots on my dog. My dog seems to really like this and be soothed by it. I spray it on her pink spots that she licks a lot, and it she doesn’t mind it and she stops licking. The pinkness in her skin has definitely decreased but is not completely gone, but that’s sufficient for me. I thought the price was great!
