Amazing on Thick Carpet and Husky Fur. The media could not be loaded. We only have one dog, a Siberian Husky, but the fur-mageddon is real. I wanted a better solution for stairs since vacuuming the stairs is such a pain (thick carpet, curved stairway). I decided to try this, it looked promising enough. Turns out, it is money well spent. I can run it over the stairs and get so much fur. It takes minimal effort and it is quick. I am very impressed.This thing pulls out more fur than I even knew was there. I used it on my stairs a couple times a week to keep them looking much better. I also use it on the areas my dog lays the most because it gets so furry and mats down the carpet. Great for that when you don’t feel like vacuuming but looks freshly vacuumed.I even used it on the microfiber towel I keep in the dog’s crate. Worked pretty well on that, too. Snagged it a couple of times, but nothing major and it’s just the dog towel so I don’t care much. Really got a lot of fur off which was great before washing it.What’s really nice about this tool is that no matter how much hair you rake out of your carpets, it just balls up and doesn’t get caught up in the tool itself. There’s no real cleaning that has to be done with the tool. A gentle shake and the hair falls off. You’re not wasting time pulling it out of the rake.The way this tool is designed allows you to get right up against furniture, baseboards/walls, and edges of the stairs and not miss anything. You can rake it flush against something and get clear to the edge. You don’t need to press hard, it didn’t get caught in my carpet and so far only pulled out a couple of very small carpet pieces (but those could’ve been loose to begin with).This is seriously an awesome tool, and I highly recommend it. It’ll work for any type of pet hair, long or short. Would be awesome to keep carpeted cat trees clean. But I love it most of all for the stairs.If I had to say something negative about this product (because nothing is 100% perfect), I’d say the handle could use very minor improvement. A little thicker to make it more comfortable to hold. It feels a bit flimsy but not to the point I feel like I’m going to break it with normal use.

Different then expected – Area Rugs/Labrador. I bought this item to try out – as we have a yellow lab that sheds constantly in exorbitant amounts. I’m willing to try anything that helps to keep our house less covered in his fur.We live in Florida, and our house is all tile/laminate with the exception of area rugs. These rugs were to be my main focus with this product. I first tried the product on a dirty rug, and it indeed picked up the dog hair well with a little elbow grease given the pile of our rug. I quickly decided to get out my Dyson Animal Cordless Vacuum to give the rug a once over and see how much this new product gathers afterwards. I was surprised – not much. I guess I should be thankful the rugs weren’t hiding much! I will say the product did a great job fluffing the rug and making it look newer, so that’s a plus.I am planning to instead use this product on items like his dog bed cover, that I hate to have all the hair clogging my drains when put into the washing machine. And in my truck – I expect it to do great things there. Happy I got the smaller tool, as the full sized one would not have worked in the areas I ended up finding this useful for us.I hope this review helps anyone that has mainly hard floors and a Labrador like mine. Better to invest in a good vacuum, this tool isn’t anything you need or worth the elbow grease for just area rugs.
NO MORE DOG HAIR. Omg! This works! I bought it bc my former roomie got one for her new house and she encouraged me to get it! Omg! Not only can i actually get my husky malamutes and my 2 cats hair off my sectional couch in like 10 minutes, it works in my car too and on the carpet. I freaking love this thing! I’m telling you, if you have animals and anything fabric/carpet in your house, but this. It works so freaking well. I also noticed that since I was able to get more animal hair up with it compared to just the vacuum, my house smells better bc I’m actually removing the animal hair. It’s also really an instant gratification moment when you start doing it and giant rolls of hair start forming. Great purchase! 100% recommended! It’s a must have for pet parents!
Incredible! Like magic! Better than a vacuum. This tool, when used in combination with the ChomChom Roller, has totally solved the dog fur situation in my home! It’s so easy to get fur off the sofa with swipes going with the grain of the textured fabric. Then I use the ChomChom Roller to go against the grain of the fabric and collect all the fur. It’s like magic – way better than a vacuum! I also use it on the area rugs in the house. (The mid-priced robot vacuum is okay, but no match for two dogs’ worth of fur.) The Uproot cleaner pulls SO MUCH fur out of the rugs and it’s so incredibly satisfying to see. Highly recommended tool!
It’s great for pilling. I originally thought this was just to get pet hair from carpets and furniture (which it does a fantastic job with). However, I decided to try to use it on the couch cushions to remove the fuzz and pilling. The cushions had just been washed and were hair free, but they had some wear on them. This did wonders! It completely removed all of the pilling and they look brand new. I highly recommend this, not just for pet owners, but anyone looking to freshen up their furniture as well.Here’s a tip: If you feel resistance you’re likely brushing in the wrong direction. Try the opposite direction, or even sideways. It should feel relatively smooth when it’s going with the grain.
Excellent for it’s intended use, but expensive. Genius little rake gets up all the dog hair from our area rugs, but it also takes off a bit of the rug itself, so do be careful how often you use it. I would imagine that a badly matted piece of carpet wouldn’t suffer as much if the rake was just removing pet hair.There’s not much to this rake. It’s priced about twice as much as it should be in my opinion, but I’ll probably never need to buy another so I’m OK with it.
Works as it states. This product works surprisingly well. I bought this product with the full intention that it wasn’t going to work as good as it stated. When I tried it on my carpet, it really did ‘uproot’ all of the hair; plus it was quite satisfying! The only thing I would say about it is that you do have to push a bit hard on certain surfaces to get all of the hair uprooted. But overall, I love this product!
Buy this if you have a pet. So we have a golden retriever and he sheds so bad at the beginning of each season. I have bought every contraption known to man but it does not get the job done. Finally I was on TikTok and discovered this little rake and said that I would buy it and see if it really worked. When I tell you I was blown away and how this thing got up all the trapped hair ! My car carpet I think was the worst with stuck on hair and I’m not kidding when I say it looks like a brand new carpet after using this . I will forever be using this for dog hair on my carpets and in my car.
Has Potential. I can see that this thing would work great in general, but seems to be fairly dependent on the material and pile/nap of what you are using it on. I thought the yellow portion was going to be a tacky rubber or something, but it is actually metal. That is great for build quality and longevity, but also means you can damage whatever you are using it on much easier as well. My furniture and bed comforter has exposed threads for decorative stitching and it instantly snagged/shredded it even with going super light pressure. It works pretty well on the areas without stitching and on my rug, but it’s a 5×7 rug so I can vacuum it and hand pick the leftover hair way quicker than using this hand size one for the whole rug (plus having to get on my hands and knees). Have yet to try it in my vehicle but I have a feeling it will do a pretty great job on the standard vehicle carpeting. Overall I can tell it’s a really good product and will last forever but my vacuum is still much more efficient overall.
Absolutely wonderful pet hair remover. This product works wonders and does exactly what you need it to do. I’ve been able to clean all of the carpets, area rugs, couches and chairs in my home as well as the carpeted stairs with ease. Very easy to use and very efficient. I have yet to come across a better pet hair removal product. You won’t have to vacuum or lint roll pet hair off of anything ever again!
Expensive but worth it. I can only describe this pet hair remover as working like magic! I have two Long-haired cats and my fur babies shed constantly. They tolerate brushing sometimes when they are in the mood (you cat people know how cats are), and my oriental carpet is a pet hair magnet. I have tried everything and spent a bunch of money trying to find something that really works getting the fur up without breaking my back. Vacuuming does not work entirely. I even bought a vacuum that is the same price as a used car (about $2000)!! It doesn’t work because the fur is embedded in the carpets. (by the way, I took the vacuum back).This hair/fur remover is amazing! The little “teeth” or ridges on both edges of the rake are small but powerful and they are not sharp so you don’t have to worry about cutting yourself or the carpet. I don’t have to put much force or pressure to pull the remover back across the carpet to get the hair loose. It also leaves the fur/hair on the carpet so I can pick it up off the carpet. I don’t have to fight to pull it off the remover , and there is no compartment that I have to dump all the time. I just simply pick the fur up off the carpet. The only negative is it let’s me see just how much hair my little fur babies shed on the carpet. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work on all carpets. It works fine on my oriental, but not on the berber carpet that I have. The instructions say that you can use on fabrics too, but I have never tried that.The one I bought is really small with a short handle which is why I am taking a star away and giving it four stars. It works fantastic, but it is too small and expensive. I understand there is a larger version that has a longer handle more like a rake which is even more expensive (Amazon has it, of course). I hate to spend so much money, but it works so well that I will probably “bite the bullet” and buy the larger one despite the expense.

Magic! Use caution on the materials using on. Bought because I was tired of lugging the vacuum up and down the stairs. This does the job for hair, but doesn’t get the dirt (obviously), so I’ll still have to vacuum. This is magic though! I think this picks up hair better than most vacuums. It might snag on the carpet, so be mindful of that and what fabrics you use this on.
Game Changer For Pet Hair Removal. The media could not be loaded. I saw the product being featured on Good Morning America thinking it’s another pet hair remover gimmick. I’ve tried numerous methods to remove the pet hair on my apartment carpet and decided to give another try to purchase it from Amazon. I’ll return it if it doesn’t work. Boy o boy, nothing worked as good and easy as UPROOT CLEAN!The metal scraper had tiny teeth that worked like magic. It easily gathered the pet hair! It’s actually fun and satisfying seeing all the cat hair being removed. I also like the handle, it’s comfortable and sturdy. I highly recommend this product!
It works great. The media could not be loaded. So easy to use and picks up all the hair! I got it for the cat tree and it worked perfectly. I even used it on my boot on my broken foot cause I had so much dog hair on it and it removed all the hair. So easy to clean and great price.
Fantastic pet hair remover for rugs. I got the small size and the long handled one and love them both. The brush on these rolls all the hair up and can be picked up easily then. It gets up way more hair than the conventional brush for carpet. The brush is unique and does a better job than those that I have tried before.
Seriously awesome 😎. This thing gets up so much hair and that’s after I vacuum. I have two cats and then both me and my mother have really long hair, the cat hair is most of what sticks around. I’ve got thr full size Uproot and this hand size. Both are fantastic and it’s so satisfying throwing away all that fur and hair that the vacuum missed!
Cleans off fur. A friend recommended this to me as I cannot get the fur off of the cat tree. I’ve tried vacuuming and tape and get a little, but it always looks dirty. This works beautifully and is so easy to use! I highly recommend for cleaning pet fur. The only caution I’d have is careful on the type of material as it may be a little harsh on some couches or other furniture.
Magic. The media could not be loaded. This thing is amazing! I have tried several other methods/products for dog hair removal and they all worked okay, but not even close to this product! It is easy to use and works great at grabbing all the hair out of thick car carpets. This is the only product that has given me effortless results with little to no “elbow grease” that most other products still require. I forgot to take a before-photo, but I cleaned my entire Husky and German Shepherd fur-filled Jeep in record time, and the little bit of hair left over easily vacuumed out after using this brush. I will say that it did not work on my generic seat cover that is on my back seat; the texture of the seat cover caused snagging and didn’t allow the product to work as intended. But on all of my carpets and other upholstery it worked great! I highly recommend!
I love this thing… but. I love that it gets more than just hair… it also pulls all the pills off of fabric as well. It does, however, pull at little too much if you’re not quite careful. It is VERY clear that you shouldn’t use it on knit or delicate fabrics, but I couldn’t help myself… It worked VERY well on my sofa, but I did fray some threads with it.
Definitely worth it. This thing is actually great. I have a kitty husky and a cat and very small apartment. Like less than 400 ft.². And the hair is ridiculous and no matter how much I vacuum with the pet vacuum or the shark vacuum I just can’t get it off of everything and I’m constantly washing everything and it is still not enough. This gets it out of weird spots, tiny areas fabrics that you can see in the video where it’s attached to the cat stand and it moves because it’s a hammock one to two swipes and there is no more hair left in that area works on multiple different surface types, including knitted blanket, but be careful Depending on if the fabric has the ability to snag or not depends on how much weight I think you should use but on a hard surface on durable enough fabric like a cat tree or a carpet or couch have fun and it works. It is so satisfying. It’s not hard to do. I’ve used some rubber dog brushes to try to get it up, which kind of works, but it makes a mess. It doesn’t get every bit of it And it requires so much effort and it eats away at the dog brush. This seems to be durable, I’ve only had it for a little bit, but it definitely works. I would recommend if it doesn’t last a long time. I’ll definitely buy another one just because it works 10 out of 10 recommend
Amazing product. This little thing is amazing! Removes so much stuff from our carpets that our vacuum just doesn’t pick up. Easy to clean right off after use. Have used it on our couch and pillows as well, and it leaves everything looking so clean.

A Great Tool (With a Few Caveats). This dog hair remover tool has been helpful for tackling the constant shedding from my furry friend. I’ve been particularly impressed with how effective it is on my area rugs.However, a word of caution: this tool is not created equal for all surfaces. You need to be careful about what you use it on, as it can snag delicate fabrics. For carpets, it’s fantastic, and you can adjust the angle you hold it at to somewhat control the risk of snags if you have looped carpet that may be a problem.Overall, this is a good product if you’re battling pet hair.
