Best I’ve had so far. I have 5-4 of these in different types and the plastic ones are too flimsy and the other metal one’s nets pull away from the frame or just rip. This one is just right as goldie locks would say.
Good but heavy. This was one of three skimmer nets that I bought at the same time so I could compare them. This one seems a bit better designed (more durable) that the old skimmer net that I had. This is great if you need to skim out a small animal. For day to day skimming though, the weakness of this is how heavy it is. The weight impacts “flinging” the debris off it over my fence. With a heavy skimmer you can’t use as much force to rapidly fling and then stop (before you smack the pole on the metal fence).

Gets the job done. The netting it’s set in evenly, but it still works. Very solid frame.
Pool skimmer. This is the best made pool skimmer I’ve purchased over the years. Definitely worth a couple more $$. I’ll never buy a $12 one again.

Exceeded my expectations. Very sturdy! Strong framing and high quality mesh netting. Half what I would’ve cost at my local pool supplies store.

Sturdy Net for Pool. The net fit our pole and works well. It seems to be well constructed. It is a little heavier than all plastic nets, but that is what we wanted.

sturdy but poor craftsmanship of netting. I ordered this leaf skimmer replacement because it was an aluminum core versus plastic as many others were made of. The outer material is plastic, but the aluminum frame makes it very sturdy, which I wanted to enable us to scoop up not only leaves, but the occasional critter that sneaks into our pool. The only questionable issue is the netting. Upon initial inspection, it appeared that it was not attached completely to the frame, but after checking closely, it was fully attached, but there were a few areas where excess netting bunched and made small pouches. But even though it looks defective, it affects the appearance but not the function.
How netting is installed. Netting not uniformly installed. 2nd unit we have ordered. Same issue with 1st one. Netting will not stay in. Like the frame but not way netting is installed or held in.
It is light weight and easy to use. I can scoop the leaves out of my fish pond with ease. Be aware it doesn’t come with a handle but I put one of the old ones I had laying around on it.
