Well worth the money. At first I was a bit critical of this cleaner, but now that I’ve been using it awhile it works great I had too make adjustments on it but it is performing better then my G3 did. and it needs less suction, yes it hangs up sometimes on my step but so did my G3. I am very happy with it.

Works great. I am happy with the vacuum in the end but there are a couple things I’m not happy with. 1 the instructions have to be one of the worst I’ve seen in a while. Even the pictures/drawings are lacking but after just using common sense and the fact I’ve had a vacuum and pump before although both slightly different I figured it out.Now the biggest complaint and why the 4 stars instead of 5. The vacuum will crawl up the wall and up and over if not guided back down by spinning the wheel. The single weight it comes with isn’t heavy enough to keep it from being a overachiever and alliooping over the pool edge. I have a 24 ft round 52 high above ground pool with a flow clear 2000 gph sand pump I believe that’s .5hp motor so I don’t believe my pump is super crazy powerful by far although side note it does a great job cleaning our pool, very happy.Anyways! It cleans good for the small stuff which was my goal but big leaves it’s a hit or miss but far from a deal breaker.The other small inconvenience is my hose that I connect to the pump hose has to be one from the pump to the smaller hoses going into the pool because the ones provided are a bit to big even with the converter provided.I recommend it for those of us that have the smaller pumps that can’t use those other ones that require stronger muscle.

Very satisfied. If you are looking for a very good automatic cleaner that won’t break the bank, this is for you! I was skeptical that this cleaner would actually work – and I was wrong to worry. I did have to get additional tubing so it would reach all areas in my 30’ round pool, but it really does a fantastic job, especially for less than $200!I let my cleaner run pretty much all the time and just pull my ladders out do it doesn’t have anything to get stuck on. You may still have to “unstick” it from time to time, but this is a really great, inexpensive option for you if you are tired of using a regular hand vac like I was! Cleans the walls too!!

You get what you pay for ******UPDATE***** Buy Beware. Previous Zodiac Barracuda G3 owner. Bought this brand to save a few bucks. Heres the most notable differences I found upon install:1) Hoses are much more rigid & feel more plastic to the touch. Hoses need to be very flexible these are not. May become more flexible in time. We’ll have to wait & see.2) I have a vac line on sidewall of my inground pool. Vac line is a 1.5 inch Hayward female. This cleaner comes with a few rubberized fittings & even a flow adjuster but it just falls out of my threaded vac line. Ive worked on this connection for the past 3 hours to no avail. I am now going to my local pool store to see if they have a male to male connection. THIS COULDVE BEEN SOLVED BY MANUFACTURER BY JUST INCLUDING 1x MALE TO MALE HOSE.3) Suction seems fine for the 30 secs i held hose into wall.4) Compared to a Barracuda its cheap quality but im selling my house anyway so idc.5) I predict 1 or 2 years of usage before needing replacement.*******UPDATE******** I WAS RIGHT! NEEDS REPLACED. HEAD SHEARED OFF. NO FIXING IT. PLASTIC WAAAAY TO BRITTLE. WILL BUY BARACUDA AGAIN. HORRIBLE PRODUCT. BUYER BEWARE******Pics attached*******

Works Great So Far. I purchased this particular unit because in the description it stated that it required a lower power pump than the others. Assembled and installed yesterday and am very impressed with how well it works!!! It not only moves nicely along the pool bottom but it also crawls up the sides of the pool. I’m absolutely delighted with the way it is performing so far—-especially for the price. We will wait and see how long it lasts.

Pool cleaner. This is an awesome product. Cleans the walls, floor and even the steps of our pool.Highly recommended!

It DOES get stuck. It cleans the floor and most of the walls pretty well, but it does get stuck on the steps. I’m trying to figure out how to fix that. The directions are worthless and it’s only because I had a similar style sweeper before that I knew what to do.

After months of reluctance to order a new pool vacuum due to fear of purchasing a bad product and looking at video reviews and reading reviews, I finally hit the bullet and decided on this vacuum. The reviews seemed the to be one of the most legitimate.It’s been over a year since I order the product and have been using it daily.The setup:The setup did take a little longer to go through due to how hard it was to connect the hose but that also shows how tightly sealed the hoses are so that there are no air leakage(power loss) during the cleaning stage. The vacuum was pretty easy to setup itself.Performance:The vacuum does an amazing job. The hose that the vacuum came with is still in excellent condition ( when compared to the hose that came with my previous vacuum).

Worst Purchase Ever. I’ve had an inground pool for 9 years now. In that time I have purchased two (suction style) pool cleaners. This being the third. If I had time to baby sit it 24/7 it might be worth the money. The thing will work for an hour or two then just stop moving. The diaphragm type suction is a joke.I threw it away, bought the same style as before for $35.00 cheaper and it works like a charm.

Best pool vacuum ever. It works great. No moving parts to break and it just keeps going and going. Best value for the money. Easy to use, wish I hadn’t bought the popular ones that are 3 times more expensive and easy to break down.

Works great! Even after a year. This is really impressive. I live in a very dusty area with windstorms and lots of debris blowing into the pool probably a couple of times a week. Over the last year I had been skimming the pool 3 times a day, brushing (algae) every day and doing a full vacuum about every week (lots of labor). This takes care of the vacuuming and the brushing! Easy to assemble (10 minutes). The hoses seem really well made, maybe a siliconized plastic, but definitely not rigid as others commented. Using on a 1.5 HP motor with DE filter. Of course I used it full suction at first (adjustable at the intake) and it had been working a regular pattern over and over. I tried removing some hose, adding the included weight which did not help. It would also walk right up the side of the pool and start sucking air at the surface. Turn the suction WAY down and it will work nearly an entire pool in a couple of hours. Also happy to say it is picking up nearly all the leaves (about 2 inches) and leaving a clean pool, even the sides. No more algae brushing either.UPDATE. Still working great after a year. Hose pieces starting to crack so will be getting a replacement hose.

This thing is amazing gray for the value. Didn’t expect much because it was cheap just needed it, but it works amazing so Surprising it is really really good. Very happy with a clean pool.

Best one yet. I’ve tried several different types of pool cleaners in the past, from simple ones to robotics cleaners and none were satisfactorily. My pool has radius corners that none of the cleaners could clean, not one did a decent job on walls either.I’ve used suction side cleaners, pressure side cleaners, none did a decent job I expected. Purchased this unit and I am very impressed with its performance, it cleans the bottom very good, follows the curves in the corners, and scrubs the walls neatly. So far this is the best unit I’ve tried, it does a fantastic job cleaning the walls of the pool and is extremely quite in operation. No loud clicking noise at all. I am so happy that I do not have to manually brush the pool walls, it was a real pain in the (you know what), especially the corners. I finally found one that relieves me of all the extra work, which at my age (79) is not easy to do.

Pool vacuum cleaner. Works excellent. This keeps my pool vacuumed with very little maintenance needed other than adding chemicals. Assembly was easy and comes with extra suction piece to replace the one in it if it wears out.

Works well. Set up was a little harder than we thought but it works well. Good value.
