U.S. Pool Supply 2″ x 100′ Heavy Duty Blue PVC Swimming Pool Backwash Hose with Hose Clamp

Working well. I was looking for a long hose to reach the street from our filter. It has ripped at the seam where it connected to the filter but I was able to trim it off. It has also formed a small hole close to the connection of the filter but is holding up well. Even with the small issues I would purchase again if need be. Seems to be much better quality than the one you can buy at Lowe’s and the length was great.

Do Not Buy. I had to drain my pool and bought the U.S. Pool Supply 2 X 100 “Heavy Duty” Blue PVC Swimming Pool Backwash Hose – and wished I didn’t. There are a lot of comparable products and the price was very reasonable. I believe this was also an Amazon recommended item but not certain.I’m a stickler for details in advertising and I can tell you that this is NOT a “heavy duty” hose. It immediately had leaks and initially thought it was defective. However, after further use, it had numerous fissures of leaks throughout the hose.The initial leak was from the seam in the hose. However, while using, numerous additional leaks occurred in the hose. This hose tends to leak when there is a kink in the hose and the durability of the hose cannot withstand the pressure. Additionally, any type of minor surface abrasions with the ground and the hose generates leaks. The leaks are very small and can be taped and can continue with draining my pool but surprised how non heavy duty this hose is. Unfortunately, I’ll have to toss it and buy a different brand.I would rather pay more for a reusable and durable heavy-duty hose than waste money on a one-and-done product. If I had to run this hose through my house, it would have been very problematic.

Durable hose. The hose is pretty thick and doesn’t seem as though we will get little small holes like our expensive hose did from Leslies last year. By the end of summer it made itself into a sprinkler every time we backwashed.Reason for the 4 stars is because we were missing the hose clamp it claims to come with. Luckily we didn’t actually need one. Overall it was a great purchase though.

Great Product. Unfortunately, my in-ground swimming pool’s autofiller was malfunctioning. The water was way over my skimmer opening. At the time of purchase, I was hoping to get a sump pump and hose immediately at my local hardware store. The lowest price was $99 for a 1/4 hp. However, the pump did not come with an attachment for a garden hose; nor, were there any hoses like this one available. Left the store and immediately came home to see what Amazon had available. When I saw this hose (100 ft, $30) and this pump (Panrano, 1 hp, multiple hose connectors included, $54), I ordered both right away. They came two days later — both fit together perfectly — both worked right out of the box — pool was drained to the proper level within 20 minutes. Even though the hose was 100 ft long, it was very easy to roll back up to almost the same size after opening the package. I’m extremely happy with this purchase, highly recommend if you are in the need for this type of product.

Heavy duty and no leaks. I was not going to order this after reading some of the bad reviews, but glad I did. This 2″ x 50′ backwash hose is way better than my old one. It is thicker, does not kink and so far, no leaks. I suspect it will leak in time as they all do, but I love it so far. 50′ is a little short for me but it works for now, next time I will get 100′ hose. I am a pool owner for 24 years and would recommend this to anyone who needs a backwash hose. Works great for me.
