Great clippers. I am mad at myself for not purchasing new clippers sooner. These clippers are a nice quality, big enough for my dogs nails and nice and sharp, which makes a huge difference. Easy for me to hold and have a good grip. If you are trimming your dogs’ nails w/old clippers, STOP. Get them a new pair, your dog will be much happier. I know I am much happier. The relief on my dogs face was great once he realize how quickly the snip went, plus he gets his treat.I have found I do a couple of nails, give a treat, then do a couple of more, then a treat. If need be I will do front nails and do hind nails later just to give the dog a break. I do not hold him down until I am finished. It is less stress on him, and me. I have had more than one argument w/the Vet Tech over my method vs hers, and I am glad I don’t have to have them cut my dogs nails anymore because I was using dull clippers and not getting good results, plus it save me money. I mean really, no one likes to be held down in an uncomfortable positions while getting a not so pleasant treatment.I like the nail guard so I am trimming and don’t have to worry about cutting so much I hit the cuticle. I will do a little bit regularly (I do weekly) as the instructions suggest until I get the length I want. It is really unhealthy and painful for a dog to have long nails. Very pleased w/this purchase.

  2. Pet Nail scissors stiff to open and close. I had used the same (unknown brand) pet nail scissors/clippers for years and recently had the plastic handle crack off where the metal scissor connected. I bought another pair locally and the blades were too dull to cut my small dog’s nails. These cut ok, but I’m not fond of the bend. From the ad on amazon, I didn’t realize they were bent. My old ones were flat. Also I really dislike how stiff the hinge is. I have to use extra force to open/close, even without clipping the nail. Makes me feel like I’m cutting too much nail. Oiling doesn’t help. They are usable, but sadly I expected them to be better than they are.

  3. Perfect length. We have two doggies, a heeler and a rot-box and I’ve always been weary to clip their nails myself, but their claws grow so fast it’s ridiculous to take them in to have them trimmed by someone else. This item allows me to cut them safely and with no worry that it would cut too much and hurt them. They are sharp so it’s quick and painless. Great buy! And price is less than taking your pooch in for a trim!

  4. Large handles. My most recent nail cutter broke and it was a guillotine style. Between the two I like this style more. I feel like I have a better visual of my dogs nail and I can cut closer to the quick. The large handles gives me a better gripe. The only down side to the product is the nail guard. I personally could do without it as it just gets in my way.

User Friendly. We overcut my dog’s nails when she was little. She wouldn’t let us near them, and we were scared to go near them. After years of overgrown nails she was suffering. These clippers are great with the guard! After a couple days with a few nail trimmings, my dog is coming to me asking to get more nails clipped!Hallelujah!!!

  6. Sharp and actually get the job done. I’m not a fan of the scissor handle type but I wasn’t able to find what I needed otherwise. So I tried this one as my final shot and they work fantastically! Significantly sharper than my last pair and get the job done quickly. I use them for my bunny and 2 cats, all of which HATE getting their nails trimmed but because of how easy these clip, I’m able to get them done without getting mauled. They were also super cheap which is rad, especially considering my last horribly dull pair that I’m pretty sure cost me $2 more. Again, not my favorite hold but it’s not horrifically uncomfortable. Would love if there was somehow a flash light at the tip though haha. They seem like they will last a while especially seeing how they hold up against thick bunny nails.

WE LOVE IT. I recently started using the gonicc Professional Small Dog and Cat Nail Clippers for my furry friend, and I can’t emphasize enough how perfect this tool has been for us. If you have a dog or cat with fast-growing, long nails, you’ll understand the importance of a painless and effective nail trimming solution, and this nail clipper fits the bill perfectly. One of the standout features of the gonicc nail clippers is their precision and safety. These clippers are designed to make nail trimming a breeze without causing any discomfort to your pet. I’ve had experiences with other clippers that accidentally cut too close to the quick, causing pain and stress for my dog. However, with the gonicc clippers, I’ve had no such issues. They are sharp, stainless steel, and cut cleanly without any risk of hurting my pet.My dog’s nails grow remarkably fast, and they can become quite long, making it uncomfortable for him to walk and potentially causing injury. The gonicc nail clippers have truly been a game-changer in this regard. They allow me to maintain my dog’s nails at a comfortable length without any pain or fuss.In summary, the gonicc Professional Small Dog and Cat Nail Clippers have been a perfect addition to my pet care routine. They have made nail trimming a painless and efficient process, ensuring my dog’s nails are always at a comfortable length. If you have a pet with fast-growing nails, I highly recommend these clippers as they truly are a game-changer in making the process stress-free and safe for your furry friend.

Clips the kitten I have, she’s 6 months old, but sometimes they want to stick together. They do the job. Cat really don’t like being clipped, but they do a good job. You have to clip every two weeks to keep them from over growing. The finger part of the clippers, would not recommend for a mans fingers. Also they need to be oiled to keep them from sticking. I use a a dab of olive oil.But it keeps her nail don, paws soft. The cost is much less than a trip to the vet. You can Goggle on how to clip.

  9. A Must-Have Tool for Your Pups. This is a must-have tool for dog owners! My boy is quite nervous around clippers (rightfully so) and these were remarkably efficient, especially with the nail guard in place. Could not be more pleased with my purchase and I know that your pup will be, too!

  10. Easy to use. I’ve owned other dog nail clippers including more expensive ones. This is easy to use and enables me to trim my dogs nails by myself without help. Although it would be even easier if you had a second set of hands to help
