  1. Love the idea, but the sides could be a stronger mesh. I bought this to see if it would help my cat with his anxiety of being in the car and then going to the vet. I did a trial of placing him in it when I had a contractor come over and wanted to make sure he couldn’t run out the door. I left him in it for all of five minutes while I talked to the contractor and when I came back I found a hole he had ripped in the mesh, trying to get out. I decided to give it a go anyway for his next vet appointment and attached his harness to the included clip. I secured it in the car by putting the seatbelt through the shoulder straps and away we went. He wasn’t happy, but was less upset than when he was in his regular cat carrier. Being able to transport him in a backpack admittedly was a lot nicer and easier to handle than a traditional cat carrier. It wasn’t awkward and it freed up my hands to open doors and hold my kid’s hand as well. The vet tech handed me some paperwork after his appointment and I put it in the side zippered pocket. She saw me do that and said “wait, it has pockets too!?!” I really like the concept, but I wish the mesh was more pet resistant, especially since I had recently trimmed his claws, so they weren’t even that sharp.

  2. Puuurfect. I love this cat carrier so much! I needed a new one and really wanted a backpack style that provides lots of airflow and allows my kitty to view the surroundings. This one was the best choice for us. My 10 pound elderly cat went to her most recent appointment in it. Had plenty of room to move in and see all what was going on. She curled up in it and took a nap on the way home. It was comfortable on my shoulders. It was easy to get her in and out of too. She had a little spill inside and it was easy to clean up. The side pockets are a nice size to hold a variety of items such as paperwork, keys, etc. I love how it all unzips and folds down, which makes it easy to store with out taking up alot of room. Everyone who saw it loved it too! So excited for this carrier would never go back to the other conventional ones. Plan to take kitty on walks with it too when she feels better. Kitty and cat lady approved!

Excellent, with a couple very minor design flaws. It’s not fancy but it’s quite comfortable to wear with an 11lb dog inside. Pockets, bottom and zippers were sturdy enough to stand a week and a half road trip. We used it like a “crate” when we left him alone and he slept well in it. He quietly sat in it while we had dinner in a deli and no one noticed he was in there. He went in on his own so I know he thought it was OK. Only issue: the side zippers go top to bottom so when he was in it on the floor it was hard to get it all the way zipped but it wasn’t so bad. Also, the way the dogs weight sits it makes for a little bit of pressure on your lower back when wearing, it’s like the bar sits on your lower back a little. It’s tolerable but still a bit of a design flaw. I’d still buy it for the price and definitely recommend it.

  4. Best cat carrier I’ve purchased so far. Really good quality. I love the ample ventilation it provides for my cats. My main use is for transporting back and forth to the vet and it made transport so easy. Even the vet and her assistance complimented the functionality of this backpack carrier and how it is far better than the ones with the plastic viewing bubble. My cats seem to take to it pretty well. Tip: I left it open with treats inside for them to explore the carrier on their own overnight and when it was time for their appointment next day, not only were the treats gone meaning they had explored and entered in the carriers on their own, but they eased into the carrier which was A+ for me. My cats are 16 & 17 lbs and the carrier held them like a champ (granted wouldn’t carry my thicc boy chonks too far on my back cause they HEAVY but if you have a petite pet, this carrier is more than comfortable to use for longer transport).

  5. Why didn’t I know about this cat carrier earlier. I saw a woman with this backpack cat carrier at the vet office. She had a dog on a leash and the cat in the carrier and I immediately asked her about it and added it to my cart! I struggle with my bulky cat carrier while also trying to maneuver my dog on leash into their combined vet appointments. This backpack was the perfect solution! I can simply wear my cat on my back and have my arms available to navigate my dog(s). My cat hated the old plastic box carrier, but jumped right into this backpack! It comes flat and zips up to form the backpack, has a rigid bottom piece to form the bottom of the backpack (it is covered w soft material for kitty comfort). It has a little leash built-in so you can clip to your cat’s collar if they wear one and then can “roll down” the front window. Has built-in side pockets for treats or other things you need to carry. I will say the base back padding wouldn’t be the most comfortable for long-time wearing, but for my trips to get his nails trimmed or to the vet…this is perfect! I can’t believe I didn’t know about this before…what a great solution!

Overall, very happy. It was easy to put together and breakdown, even with no instructions. There are no care instructions about cleaning it if your cat has an accident, so I cannot tell you what is best. I think my cat has a good amount of room, but he is only medium sized at about 5lbs. A larger cat might have a tight fit. There is also a clip inside that you could clip to a collar so you can roll down the top for fresh air and too peak their head out. The length seems short, but they only have flea collars at the moment. I can’t test it yet. Their is a button clip so you can roll down the too and secure it. It just hangs loose when you have everything zipped. I can hide the leash clip under the bottom board since it detached. You slid it any ti build it up and can take it out and put it sideline to fold everything flat. I think if I actually took a walk instead of testing it on the back porch my cat may mess with it and try and chew on it. I wish their was another button on the side that I secure it too if I not using it. It is pretty sturdy. My cat is about 5lb, his sister 3.5-ish. I am unsure about the oldest boy. He is about 7lbs. I think it will how the weight bu the chest clip in the front to scure it steady to me might cut into my chest with his weight since it not adjustable. The arms are though with a lot of length. Two decent side pockets. I could probably fit treats, a spoon, a can of wet food, and small bag of dry food on one side and a small 8 oz water bottle and collapsible bowl on the other. It just the right size for the basics. The mesh seems strong enough that if they freaked out on it that it would hold. I don’t think they could rip a hole and get out without serious strength and time at it, which would give you ample warning. The bottom has a soft material on the underside that provides some cushion once you place it inside. Overall, very happy. If I have any long term durability issues, I will update.

  8. Worked great. So glad I had these for my trip. I didn’t really use them as backpacks for walking around more than 2ce, but just as a carrier they worked great. My cats even were pulling at them trying to get out and I saw no evidence of damage. So they are durable! Easy to unfold and set up as well as easy to fold down So they pack flat. Handle at the top made it easy to carry like a carrier, straps were adjustable as pretty comfortable, and nearly the whole thing is mesh except for the bottom and the back plate, so breathable for the cats. Even with my 8 pound big boy in there I wasn’t worried it wasn’t stable enough or gonna hold up

Comfort and safety for the pet. I recently purchased this traveler backpack pet carrier, and it has been a game-changer for taking my kitty on the go! It’s well-designed, spacious, and comfortable for my pet, with plenty of ventilation. The padded straps make it easy to carry, even for longer trips, and the durable material ensures safety. My kitty feels secure and cozy inside, and the side pockets are perfect for storing essentials. Highly recommend it for any pet owner who loves to travel!

  10. Great For Pets On Bicycle. Took my little feline Lucy to the vet on my bike. Very well constructed, easy to use, secure and roomy. Mesh allows her to see and be seen. Cute color – like a “cornflower” blue. Good price too.

  11. Great bag for smaller fur baby, highly recommend. I bought this item to take my cat for walks while recovering from knee surgery. I was going to put it on top of a tray that I use for my walker, but it made it too top heavy, so it didn’t work for me. However, this is a great bag!! It’s soft, yet sturdy. I even put it on my back with my cat in it, and it was very comfortable for me. The straps are cushioned and shaped very nicely where they did not dig into my shoulders. I imagine it would work nicely for someone hiking as the bag is very light and it held its shape while it was on my back. The only “draw-back”, and I hesitate in even saying that, was that I felt it was just a bit too small for my 11 lb 2 oz cat. He could sit up very comfortably, but he couldn’t really lay down. The sides have a mesh window that can be covered by zipping up the liners. The front has a mesh window that can be covered by unrolling the top cover (that can be secured when not needed). Oh, yes, it appears to be made of a water resistant material that will help keep your fur baby dry if you end up in a rain storm. It also comes with a cushioned, removable bottom liner to help keep its shape, and give your fur baby something to lay on. I was very impressed that I did not have to loosen the stap that tied around my waist when I put it on…it could probably extend up to about 48 – 50 inches. I also didn’t have to extend the strap that tied around the top of my chest…it could possibly extend 48 inches. I can only guesstimate on these measurements as I did not actually measure them, but I am about 225 lbs. I recently lost 60 pounds and I think it still would’ve fit me very comfortably. All in all, this is a great bag. Very comfortable even for someone who cannot walk well; the sides and front have windows that can be covered or left open for more breathability, the staps can be extended or drawn in to accommodate those of different sizes, it has three entry points, the zippers work very well and are very sturdy and it even has a strap on the inside to which a leash can be attached holding your fur baby more securely inside. Again, I have absolutely no complaints about this bag. It just didn’t suit my needs, and I felt it was just a tad too small for my cat. Oh, and there’s no assembly, just unfold it and zip it up.

  12. Comfortable and my cat loves it. We have an indoor cat who absolutely loves the sunshine and fresh air, we just don’t trust her outside. Yes, we are those people walking down the street with our cat in a carrier alongside walking our dog. Mind you, our cat is very large and this holds her perfectly. It is very sturdy and has great adjustable straps. I also love how both sides open up completely for ease of getting her into it. My favorite is, you can roll down the screen so she can stick her head out!

  13. practical, cute and sturdy. I love this to take my cat anywhere. She fits nicely and is comfy while in it. Very sturdy design. Cute and practical with side pockets. Quality is great.

  14. Perfect fit for travel and storage. Gives kitty a nice view of what is around them. Lightweight to carry yet sturdy to keep cat safe. This was a great choice at a great value. Easy to assemble and store when not in use.

  15. Perfect Carrier for My Adventurous Pup! 🐾. I absolutely loved the Texsens Innovative Traveler Bubble Backpack! I used this for my small dog, Abby Lee, for outdoor adventures and trips to the vet. The design is well-ventilated, ensuring she stays cool and comfortable. The bubble window gives her a sense of security while allowing her to see the world, which she finds fascinating! The straps are padded, making it comfortable for me to wear for extended periods. The material is durable, and the zippers feel sturdy. Cleanup is a breeze, which is a huge plus after a messy day at the park. The only slight downside is that it might feel snug for pets over 10-12 pounds, so make sure to check the size. Otherwise, this backpack is worth every penny and makes traveling with a pet so much easier and enjoyable!
