Pool Leaf Skimmer. I have to admit, this is better than the one I bought at a local home do it yourself store awhile back. The problem with the older one was the mesh was so tight it would not allow the water to pass through as you were gathering up leaves and debris on the pool surface. You learn real quick how to maneuver the debris and then get it out of the pool before the oncoming pressure wave of water would push it aside. The current one I bought has a larger mesh and it works a lot better. The structure is a little flimsy but I knew that going in and for less than five dollars, you cannot expect a metal framed unit like a Hayward of years ago.It does the job and when the mesh punches through in time, go get another one.No photo, it’s just a leaf skimmer and it fits any standard swimming pool vacuum pole. Remember to remove from pole when finished; if you lay it on something other than a flat surface or horizontal wall hooks, the hoop that encompasses the mesh will take a set to whatever angle you rested it on. It will eventually spring back to the original flat shape but I avoid that by putting it in my deck box. The older style from Hayward and all the established pool suppliers of years gone bye had a metal hoop in the makeup of the unit, newer ones are all plastic so they bend easy.
Nice catch screen. Good size and material for cleaning the above ground pool, would have been nice to have a short handle.
Great price. It works
Last about a year and a half. … or until your dogs get into it or you leave it by the fire pit 🙂 Use iit daily to clean my horse troughs. Sturdy and totally worth the money. This was a re-order.
Works. This was a replacement for my old one
A handy pool net. I found this net to be too small for my purposes. It also isn’t sturdy enough to be out in the blazing hot sun for long. It would work best for a small home pool but our pool is a bit too large for it to be practical.
Small and flimsy, but as a result, light and easy to handle. So this thing was tiny compared to the broken one I was replacing. But I knew that since I read the dimensions, right? 😉 Since it’s plastic, it flexes as you try to move through the water. But the good thing that I didn’t expect was that since it was smaller, it was lighter to use to skim the water surface and easier to use than my previous larger one. I gave it 3 stars since I don’t know if the flimsiness of the plastic will last the pool season.
Works well. Have only had for a few weeks. I’m expecting this to perform like any other and last maybe 2 seasons. The construction around the edges is much better than some I have bought in the past.I have noticed that the head of this is starting to bend from storage and heat. I’ve not had this issue previously, but will change how it is stored so it doesn’t break.

Works, But. Guess I should of looked at the dimensions of this very small skimmer before I bought this, so no bad review for that. BUT, this is all plastic, works good as a hand held even though the handle bends easily, but do not try to use it with a pole. The fine net we like but you need to skim slowly with this. If your pool is big like ours, it will take a long time to skim with this. But, the cost is right for this, just wish they had a bigger more sturdy version with the same netting, we would purchase it.
Good value and held up. Good value, held up, and works well. Not super sturdy and not as big as I expected, but got the job done all summer. The real test will be using it to life heavy leaves off the winter cover.

Great product fur price. Purchased for pool clean up this fall. Great product for price. Thin plastic, not as sturdy as others. These will usually last me about a year of usage to clean pool before I need to replace again.
Great small net. This net fits on several different poles I have and it’s very lightweight which is great when reaching longer distances to get leaves. It’s inexpensive and does everything I need.
Flimsy Material. It works, but it’s definitely on the flimsy side. I’ll probably order a better one to have as a backup because I’m waiting for this one to snap.
Sturdy and Works Well. We bought this for our 8-person hot tub. We don’t have a lot of leaves, but we do have suicidal flying insects. Although it doesn’t come with a handle, we just get into the water and scoop up the unfortunates. A great product for very little money.
I buy them every year. These cleaner nets don’t last long; the plastic and mesh break. I buy them every year.
Decent for the price but would invest in a sturdier one next time. It gets the job done BUT it isn’t super durable, at least compared to our older one. It looks nice and the ‘mesh’ seems solid but the plastic is more flimsy than I would like for our large above ground pool. I think this would be okay for a small hot tub where you have a small area to clean.
Good product. Great to use but it already tore.
Size. It’s smaller than my last screen skimmer, but it does the job
Small but works. Great bet, smaller than I thought but it works and is priced great as compared to other stores.
Good value but not heavy duty. Good value but not “heavy duty” – smaller than expected, might be perfect for jacuzzi or small pool.
Quality at first seems poor but it gets better as it sits in the Sun. I bought this net about three and a half maybe 4 years ago and it was really flimsy and I didn’t think it was going to hold up and I left a bad review it lasted for this long for nine bucks $3 a year it actually once it got in the sun it’s skipping up I have no complaints about this it was a great value totally worth it
Simple and just right. I have purchased various pool screens over the past 5 years to clean. Turns out that just about all of the more expensive pool screens are crap. My husband asked me to stop buying the fancy screens and just buy the basic ones…and be sure to get 2! (he is tired of not having a replacement when they get a hole) I purchased 2 of these and they are exactly what he wants: simple, no frills or fancy adjustments and functions exactly how a pool screen should. The price is great as I am sure we will purchase more. (we live in the south with quite a few trees, bugs and pollen) The size of the screen is what you expect with a standard screen, providing the length and width necessary to catch multiple leaves/bugs…or whatever else falls into the pool. It does not have a huge capacity, but you can buy a leaf screen for big jobs. I will say that the screen is fine enough to filter through tiny bugs like gnats and mosquitos and ants.
OK but somewhat fragile construction. I needed to replace my 25 year old metal frame pool net and considering the price point this net is able to provide all the things my previous net did for immediate and temporary use but this one is completely made of plastic, is very lightweight and does not feel durable. For immediate needs I believe it is fine, especially considering the very reasonable price point but for longer term use I will be replacing it with a metal frame net.
