  1. Very comfortable. This is my second pair of these shoes. I bought a pair back in 2018 for an international trip. They held up great for all of the city walking we did and then some when we got back. We’re about to take another trip to the same place and these were #1 on my list to buy again. The only reason I’m buying another set is because we moved and I misplaced my old pair. Trust me, I searched hard for them. These shoes aren’t waterproof, so if you think you might encounter rain, just prepare for that. Also, the tread on the bottom is foam-like and can be slippery on certain surfaces. In our case, we got them for Portugal, which features a combination of polished stone walkways and intense hills. Even in slightly damp conditions, you need to be careful. This is an extreme case though (as far as casual wear goes). The shoes are machine washable so no worries about getting them a bit dirty.I’ll gladly recommend them. They are good all-rounders. If you need something specific from a shoe other than comfort, you might find better options, but if you just need a comfortable all purpose shoe, this is it.

  2. Wonderfully comfortable and great for walking. I have never had such a comfortable sneaker!I usually wear a 12-D, but it really depends on the brand; some 12-D’s are still way too tight, so if a Wide version is available I usually go for it. The size 12 of this sneaker fit me very well. There is plenty of cushion, so it is very very comfortable. The top is made of a mesh fabric which provides breathability.I like the dark blue color as it matches my jeans. It is a more conservative statement as opposed to some of the neon colored shoes out there which I don’t really like.I will need to wash mine soon because I’ve had to walk through lot of dry areas with no grass, I hope it washes well. But I’ve had these for a few months and have really enjoyed them.Arch support is minimal, but that was not an issue for me as it is with some others. If you need arch support, I’d recommend another. However, this met my needs very well.

  3. Very Happy. I don’t usually feel the need to write a reviews but… got these shoes right before going to Disney World. It was 110 degrees with the heat index. I was so happy I got these shoes right before I left. They were so soft they didn’t even need a typical break in period. But best of all, even with it being so hot out, I could literally feel the breeze on my feet and my feet didn’t get all sweaty after slogging around in the unbearable heat all day long. Highly recommend these comfy and perfect for hot weather shoes.

  4. A good buy. One of the best pairs of shoes I’ve ever purchased. The fit is great, they are more comfortable than the insoles prescribed to me by my foot doctor and at a better price than the Sketchers store ( where they never have my size).I may consider buying another pair in my size in a different color.I believe you will be satisfied with buying this item.Only issue was that it showed up later than I was expecting (which I was told to be two days!)I though I’d be waiting TWO WEEKS, but Amazon managed to get it down to one week.

  5. Third and fourth time buying these sneakers. Like the headline says “Third and fourth time buying these sneakers!” (I buy two pairs at time). I work in retail and work on a concrete floor day in day out. I average 15,000 steps a day and if I’m not walking then Im standing or climbing ladders, etc. It took awhile to find sneakers that were comfortable and helped my achy, wide, flat feet. These sneaker paired with EasyFeet inserts do the trick. I usually get about six to seven months from these because I only use them for work and they get the milage. If you need a comfortable casual sneaker I’m sure these will last much longer. I also buy two pairs, usually blue and black to switch on and off with.

  6. Surprisingly good, but not good-looking. When I make purchases on Amazon, I normally read the reviews, and in reverse order, perusing the worst ones first. The bad reviews are always much more revealing about the product. The Skechers Go Walk Max met what I was looking for, so I took a chance despite reading the few lukewarm reviews. I have been pleasantly surprised so far. I own another pair of Skechers (the Go Walk Pro Arch), and they have held up pretty well after a year. I bought this second pair in size 10.5, extra-wide, and they are true to size, lightweight, and comfy with the extra room I require. I bought the all-black version so I could wear them with suits and not feel incongruous. They don’t call attention to themselves so the fashion police call me out. Still, they definitely look like “old man” shoes. I don’t care because I am, in fact, an old man and I’ve begun to accept my fate. And, I have yet to make those last steps toward the grave while wearing velco-strap shoes. Just a word of caution to the fashion-conscious, though: these shoes ain’t what I’d consider “pretty.” But they do feel great, for now.

  9. The Most Comfortable Shoes I’ve Ever Owned. I’ve just received my 5th pair today.I will order more as needed. The floors at my place of work are hard concrete with no carpeting or padding whatsoever.I started wearing these Skechers Mens Go Walk about 3 years ago due to increasingly sore feet. These have been the answer to my sore feet since then.I have the blue and black pair. I’m not a fashion focused individual, so I make these Skechers Mens Go Walk work for most of my work days, with an occasional alternating with some other Skechers shoes. They go well with various khakis. They are supportive enough for me, being on my feet 6-7 hours a day. They are light, which adds to the comfort. Two things I would like to see improved. One is the lifespan of the bottom of the soles. They do wear down somewhat quickly, in my opinion – (see pictures) but I do make them last about 12 months with moderate wear showing by that time. The comfort is still there, so I could make them last longer. Since I have bought 5 pair now, I just cycle them out and the old pair becomes my casual wear pair. The other thing is the price. As I looked today for a link to write this review, the price increased on Amazon by about $11 since I purchased them a couple days ago. That is frustrating when it comes time to buy another pair. I can understand a couple dollars increase in a year’s time, but not $11 in a couple days.Overall, a great pair of shoes.I will continue to buy these shoes if the price is acceptable.I would recommend these to anyone wanting/needing a comfortable pair of shoes to relieve discomfort on the bottoms of their feet.

  13. Love theses shoes. In the last few years I’ve bought and really liked the 4 pairs Skechers Go Walk shoes I’ve had. But these? I loved them from the moment I slipped them on. They fit perfectly, are light weight, and they are so comfortable. I walk my dog 4 or 5 miles almost every day (mostly sidewalks) and, like the other Go Walk shoes, they are terrific for that. I know they are not suited for really bad weather. And it’s worth noting that my feet are quite average – neither wide nor narrow and no issues like needing extra arch support. It is with that in mind that I give them a 5 star rating.

  14. Genuinely Wide Width. My son inherited my wide feet. Not only is he a 4E width, his feet are TALL from sole to top of foot. Essentially cement blocks with toes. As you can imagine, it is a challenge finding shoes that fit at all.I have been impressed with the Skechers GoWalk series in this regard. They do come in a genuinely “Extra Wide” width, and the toeboxes, generally, have enough room to accommodate the extra height of his foot.He says that these are comfortable to walk in for a long distance. The overall support is a bit lacking for longer treks, but he’s worn these on a couple of actual hiking expeditions without chafing, blistering, or pinching, which is just short of a miracle. Although the soles look like those weird “bubble” shoes instead of sneaker tread, they do have a reasonable amount of grip. This specific style, the “Max Effort,” laces up like regular sneakers, which helps customize the fit a bit and means that his gym teacher recognizes these as “athletic” shoes (the other styles we purchased are slip-on loafers and are apparently not “athletic” enough for gym class.)Another good point is that they are washable and dry rapidly, so they can be hosed down as needed.I do wish these were a TINY bit more visually attractive. Obviously these sell well, so perhaps my personal impression of their aesthetic appeal is flawed, but the mesh material looks EXACTLY like the ugly $2 K-Mart slip-ons my dad used to buy back in the 1980s. On the other hand, the mesh is probably what makes them accommodate otherwise unfittable feet.

  15. Good Shoes. Not bad shoes for the price. Comfortable and lightweight. I would think they will last about 6 months.

  16. Good Shoes. Not bad shoes for the price. Comfortable and lightweight. I would think they will last about 6 months.

  17. Comfortible sneakers. They are light weight and very comfortable. I would not use these for my everyday walkers for believe they may not hold up. I purchased them to only wear inside my home so believe they will last at least one year. They did make a squeaky noise on tile floor but rubbed the soles down with some baby powder which stopped the squeak.

  18. Most comfortable shoes ever. These are amazing, they are more comfortable than anything I’ve ever worn. They’re completely mesh so they breathe like nothing else, and the fit is snug and supportive but they don’t hurt your feet because they’re so flexible.Absolutely amazing, I’ll never buy another running shoe again!

  19. Perfect. Imo: These fit great and feel amazing. Definitely a sketchers brand lover. I walk all day long at work, so these give me great grip and support. Also, the breathability is very nice. Comfortable and light, as well. I definitely recommend these shoes.

  20. ExtraWide10, Jan 2025. Good looking shoe and appears to be good quality. The ‘Extra wide’ was ordered and makes them easy to slip on. I bought these for indoors so I cannot speak how they would perform if used in sports like running or hiking or tennis. The sole is thick soft foam. Laces are OK and work fine.Packaging was A+. Shoes have protective ‘shaping’ cardboard in them in the box and they look great out of the box. The upper shoe fabric looks to be nice mesh nylon. I would buy again.

Only pair of sneakers that properly fits me. I’ve purchased these shoes 9 times. I will probably buy more of them. As a warehouse worker, busting my tail everyday, constantly on my feet, moving and lifting, one pair of these will last about 3 months for me. One of two things will go first, either the insoles, or the treads on the bottom of the sneaker. It is usually the treads, they’ll end up more or less completely flat at the forefoot by 3 months. I just wish more than anything that the treads would be updated to be made of a harder, thicker, longer lasting (maybe even nonslip!) material. The insoles I can replace, though hard to find with my foot size, with these Sketchers in size 13 X-Wide, the Wide Run 619 insoles in size 15 fit pretty well (insoles are wider in the midfoot, but they still work fine, even better actually if you find the sneakers aren’t wide enough there.)My forefoot measures 5 inches in width, which is frankly ridiculous, and it makes it close to impossible to find shoes of any kind that don’t agitate my feet. Frankly, these shoes would be no different, if it weren’t for the soft, flexible mesh lining on the outside. My forefoot sticks out a little bit, but because of the mesh, I don’t run into any pain or friction. These are the only sneakers I’ve found that properly fit my feet, aside from the diawin Diabetic Wide Shoes (the ones with the velcro strap) in size 14 X-Wide Men. Those sneakers are flat on the bottom, don’t have much cushioning, and the Wide Run 619 insoles don’t help very much in those. I am still in the process of ordering insoles for them, attempting to find any that actually work via trial and error. (why don’t any of these companies put width measurements on their product pages!!!! ahh!!!)The price of these fluctuate often. Install a price tracking extension, like Keepa, and look at the Buy Box history, maybe set some alerts. It may be a good idea to buy a bunch of them at once when they go a bit cheaper.

  22. Like Walking on Pillows. Simply put, these are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn in my life.I’ve got really wide duck feet, and shoe shopping has been the bane of my existence. Every single pair of shoes I’ve ever owned were either wide enough but too long, or the perfect length but too tight. That is until I bought a pair of these in 2023. Right out of the box, they fit perfectly on all sides, which is no easy feat. Even better, they absorb so much of the shock of walking that it’s easy to forget I have them on. Since the padding pretty much feels like a yoga mat, it kind of molds itself to the contours of your feet and—at least in my personal experience—provides more adequate support where needed.I walk a good bit (3-7 miles a day), and these suckers are my best friends throughout those walks. Not only for the aforementioned comfort, but also for their breathability. My feet get ridiculously hot if I cover them for too long, so the mesh material used for these is a godsend. With every step I take, I can feel the air moving through the shoes. And since it’s pretty much one solid piece, there aren’t awkward seams in weird places digging into the tops of my feet like some other shoes (even other Sketchers shoes I’ve tried have this issue).I’m sure there are more rugged shoes on the market (I usually get about 9 months to a year out of these before I need to replace them), but I’m okay with trading a little durability for comfort and a perfect fit. If Sketchers keeps making these shoes, I’ll keep buying them, and I’ll keep recommending them.

  24. Defiantly will buy again. I bought these shoes for my husband (he is on the bigger side) and we both were impressed with how well they check all the boxes.Fit: True to size with just enough wiggle room.Functionality: He’s on his feet a lot, and these have held up great during daily wear—everything from working in the yard to running errands. The traction is reliable, and they feel stable on different surfaces.Style: The design is clean and sporty. They look good with both athletic wear and casual jeans, which is a plus when you don’t want to change shoes constantly.Arch Support & Cushioning:This was a big one for us. The cushioning is solid—plush enough to absorb impact, but firm enough to feel supportive. He says the arch support makes a real difference and his feet feel less tired at the end of the day.

  25. Width is correct. Great shoe for people with Flintstone feet like myself , super lite !! Incredible comfort
