Soft with good texture. You know how cotton balls fees weird after you’ve applied a product and you swipe once and when you swipe again it just feels weird or feels like it doesnt do the work? it doesnt feel like that. It’s soft and the texture doesn’t bother my face. I mostly use it to apply toner but I’m sure it’s good for make up removal as well. Would recommend.
So soft. Best facial cotton ever! I can never go back to regular.
My fave. These are so gentle and never let me down. I use them as makeup remover and toner pads. I struggle with hormonal acne and cannot use reusable pads as they add to my acne no matter how well I sensitize them.

Best cotton pads on the market. These have been my favorite cotton pads for over twenty years. I’ve used other high-end brands, but I always come back to Shiseido. The quality is the best. They don’t pill up with lint, they’re thick, super soft, and sturdy enough to remove heavy makeup or just light makeup. They’re even good for touching up your makeup. Very durable little pads that hold a lot of product if you need them to. I love these and will always keep buying them.
Once you use this cotton you are ruined forever. Oh how I wish I never knew about Japanese cotton! I worked for a Japanese company in the 1990’s through 2004. I went to Tokyo and Kyoto and was based in NY. The Japanese culture is quite extremely precise and perfectionistic. Only in Japan could I discover that every cheap cotton ball or pad I had used throughout my life was not cutting it. I don’t know how they do it. But God love the Japanese for refusing to just accept okay in a lot of goods. The cultural attitude is “if we make it as excellent as we possibly can, people will buy it” and they are correct. These rectangles hold tons of moisture but also release it onto your face if used for toner, essence, etc. It retains and releases nail polish remover better than any American drug store cotton I have ever used. I wish I could describe how soft and sublime these are. One cotton rectangle goes a long way. I can remove heavy eye-makeup with only two rectangles and some Bioderma. I can use a third pad to remove all my face makeup or sunscreen. (In the past I went through way too many cotton balls or rounds) When I use the Japanese cotton to remove waterproof eyeliner, I can get right into the rims of my eyelids without any cotton “threads” ending up in my eyes! These are just so wonderful and heavenly-that’s why I pay $16 for a big box of cotton. But my husband will go insane if he ever discovers my “secret”. The average man will not understand why this cotton makes such a difference. The day he finds out I use this cotton is going to be WW3. Luxury girl vs. cheapskate thrift man. Lol.
Worth every penny. The softest cotton you’ll ever use. I have used these for years for removing eye makeup and brow tint and they don’t fall apart or shed lint. You can definitely find cheaper but none are better.

As good as Colleen Rothschild cotton pads. Pros; I love how super soft they are! I have very sensitive eyes and these are sooo good! They are as good as the Colleen Rothschild cotton pads! I will purchase againCons: I wish the bag had a better design there’s no closure or zip to contain them. Once it’s open, it’s torn.
