BEST yoga towel of the three that I bought a year ago. I have had this towel for a little over a year and it is the best yoga towel of the three that I purchased, by far. In fact, this is the same thin microfiber type of towel that my studio hands out. I am one of those people who slides all over the place and I would have a hard time without a towel. My studio has water bottles in the classrooms so that folks can spray their towels before class and I spray both ends of the towel and that’s what makes it non-slip for me. I think it also depends on the type of mat you have. Don’t skimp on the mat. At first I did not want to spend the $$ but then I ended up replacing my mat for a Manduka Pro and I LOVE it. OK, back to the towel. I just ordered another one of these because I am doing yoga 4x per week and my other towels don’t make me as happy as this one. This one by Yogitoes is OK but it’s bulky and I slip less on my Gosweat microfiber which costs half as much. My favorite hot yoga towel. I recently bought this towel because the one I had previously just wasn’t cutting it! It was another one I got on Amazon and it was more of a waffle knit but it had rubber grips on one side. It would slide all over my mat during hot yoga and it was very distracting. I took a leap of faith here and I was nervous about the lack of grips on the towel but I used it for the first time yesterday and I cannot tell you how pleased I am! The towel didn’t even budge, and I didn’t get any of the color transfer or fibers like some of the reviews talk about! It absorbed my sweat so well I wouldn’t have even known I just finished a hot yoga class! I am beyond impressed and now I want every color!!!
Great towel. This towel doesn’t have the mat pockets or non slip beads, but it seems to hold on my mat very well. I ordered a different company of some others and they didn’t stay on my mat like this one did. This is a great towel if you need extras and I’ll probably order more.
Exactly what I needed. My hot yoga studio requires towels in order to practice. Unfortunately, yoga towels are typically between $30-45. I was stoked when I found these on Amazon. They’re the same quality as the more expensive brands.
Good for what it is. I love the Placid Blue color and how lightweight it is. You MUST wash it before use or else it’ll pill EVERYWHERE. Unfortunately I learned the hard way. Like most hot yoga towels, it won’t prevent you from slipping until it’s wet, so I slip and slide a bit for the first half of class until enough of my sweat drips off. You can spray water onto your towel if you want to prevent that.
Good but not for all type of yoga. The fabric is very soft but for a dynamic class, it moves and get messy. For slow classes is awesome. I do hot yoga and root.
