The Best Net Ever. (Okay, there may be better nets out there, but they are probably more expensive.)I know it’s weird to be super excited about a pool net, but here we are. I love this net! We have had a small above-ground pool for 6 years, and I have had to buy a new net at least once a year to replace broken/crappy/ineffective ones. The best one we had before this was the similar-looking (but far inferior) blue one with the plastic edge. If you are trying to decide between getting that one or spending a few more dollars on this, buy this. Just do it. It is so worth the extra money. The rubber edge is actually effective in getting those little leaf particles off the bottom of the pool without damaging it (yes, we idiotically put our pool too near a large tree & constantly have leaves falling into it). The netting is fine enough to catch almost everything, and the weighted end is so useful. It is superior to those plastic blue ones in every way.
I don’t have to touch the nasty net. This thing is AMAZING! It gets even the smallest bugs out of the pool. Works perfect for leaves and debris that hit the bottom. AND THEN, it has a rubber piece to hold while dumping it so I don’t have to touch the nasty bugs. The only slight issue is that I did not buy the pole for this. The hubs had to make a slight adjustment to the pole we had for this to fit it. If that is my only complaint, I am one thrilled customer. If you need a pool net, but this one!
So far, so great. Bought for use in our small pool cleaning business. First time using was with a super nasty, sludge filled pool cleaning. This held up great and was great for use in an above ground pool. Protected the liner and held a ton of weight in the bag without any damage. Provided it continues to prove to be a workhorse, we’ll be buying more of these as our business grows!
Netting need to be a bit tighter. Overall seems good but small particulate in your pool (like knats) will go through the webbing.
Just what I needed. This has been a lifesaver or leafsaver for me. We have a lot of windy days in TX and just about every leaf within a one mile radius ends up in our pool so this has help me get the leaves before they sink to the bottom and then overwork our pool cleaner. A must have!
