Software NOT user friendly. We decided to buy Samsung Galaxy cell phones based upon the reviews in CR and recommendations from various salesmen. I purchased the S21 FE 5G and my husband purchased A53 5G. We have used these phones for a couple of months and we both wish we had purchased new Motorolas. Our Moto cell’s software beats the Samsung software hands-down..bare none. These two Samsung phones may have scored better for things like battery life but really lack ease of use for everyday life. Examples: 1. No slot to use an external disk for pictures. 2. Cannot copy a text to another contact. 3. I really hate the calendar…print and display is terrible and small. 4. I use to be able to keep notes easily in the Contacts not so here. 5. When it copied over the contacts it used old contact data and not the current which I might have understood if it had selected the first alpha contact. I could go on and on but no need. We will continue to use these phones but I am already looking forward to the time we can replace them with another Motorola.

I have also blocked out all the sn and barcode info.As you can see in th photo on one of the boxes the factory seals dont even line up like the used a box from a different phone.

Love it. I’m not much of a tech person but this meets and exceeds all expectations.
This was a great purchase. Senior lady..so I did not want face recognition or fingerprint stuff…The phone is nice and works well. Easy to use and I am pleased with this purchase. Saw some not so nice reviews..BUT THIS IS A NICE PHONE AND IT DOES WORK WELL.Got the Otter Box case and it works great.

Delivery was as expected, but. As stated in the headline, delivery was good, it arrived on time as expected, and the phone was in good overall condition. Setup was straight forward and barring the unavoidable delays of updating apps and data, everything went smoothly. In use, however, things were not as expected. To begin with, using different apps, the phone shuts down, and sometimes restarts on its own, and sometimes one must turn it on manually. I have tried reinstalling the offending app (presuming it was a software issue), but the problem persists. I now surmise it might have some hardware flaw, because when trying to take a photo from within WhatsApp, when sending it we got an error that stated the image “was not of a recognized format” and would not send it. Tried again, same results. Opened the camera app, shot the picture and sent it through WA. Then proceeded to close and then restart WA, and the two wrong format pictures in queue were sent. Problems also with Instagram: going through postings, the cellphone reboots. Overnight, when charging, phone reboots. At other times when in use, doing whatnot, it simply freezes, and you must force a restart. Most of the time, it works OK, but when things go wrong in the middle of doing something, it is highly frustrating to say the least. My guess is that there is definitely some problem on the hardware side, and the previous owner got fed up with the cellphone and traded it in the not so old phone (S21 FE 5G 128GB) for a different one.(Update – March 10, 2025) Getting fed up with the cellphone. Reboots unexpectedly several times daily… annoying. Probably the worst buy ever!
