We’ll see what the vet says. My 4 yr-old, 58-lb. doodle doesn’t like having his mouth messed with and shakes his head, as I didn’t start brushing his teeth when he was a little puppy. My error. He has a small line of noticeable plaque on one tooth; his other teeth are mostly white, some w/a bit of very pale yellow. His annual check up is in October, which will be 5 mo. of use. It’s very easy to use daily, and I’m hoping it will be okay. The groomer charges $12 for brushing, but my vet’s sarcastic comment was, “How would YOU be if you brushed your teeth once every 2 months?” (Yes, but I don’t try to escape.)
Very effective. I needed to add something to my dogs diet to help with the tartar build up on her teeth as she’s not really into gnawing on bones etc. This is easy to add on top of her food and she seems to like it. Although it doesn’t get rid of the build up, it does stop it from getting worse and it certainly makes her breath nice and sweet thank goodness! If I run out, you can certainly tell the difference in her breath.
Amazing. I don’t submit reviews alot, but this stuff is amazing. Our dogs teeth had lots of build up. Still have some of the bottle left and the difference it has made to their teeth and breath is again…Amazing! We had used another brand and truly saw no difference. Give this stuff a try!
Definitely working. I desperately needed something to help with the mountains of plaque building up on my Boston’s molars. She has a very sensitive system & a lot of allergies, so I researched and compared products for weeks before deciding on this one. I am so happy with her results. Within 4 weeks of use, about 75% of the buildup has completely come off. I’m literally stunned, and still can’t make it make sense, but it works. No reaction for her either, which was a huge relief…very happy we don’t need to go through a dental cleaning at the vet…not a fan of the anesthesia or the price tag…$1000+. She doesn’t mind the flavor either, but she’s pretty voracious in general. I just sprinkle it on top of her kibble and add a little water – she loves it.Worked for my girl & I hope it works for your pup. They all respond differently though, so just be vigilant and slowly work your dog up to the recommended dosages so it’s not a shock. Never hurts to talk with your vet about it first either – just ask if there are any thyroid concerns before starting to be safe since this product does contain iodine which can stimulate the thyroid.
