Outdoor sun and heat warped this in 4 weeks. When this first arrived we loved it. It had the appearance of good design, appeared sturdy, worked well, even had the right shape to move water on bottom of pool such that sunken leaves would go right into the bag. We stored this net outside, hanging on brackets against our fence, in a partially sunny partially shaded part of our yard. After several weeks the blue plastic had become distorted and also lost its rigidity. This net is basically useless now. Paid more for it because it appeared almost “commercial grade” and had to learn the hard way that we wasted our money. Buy something else, this doesn’t last. We live in FL but this should not have happened, it needs to be more temp resistant – someone’s shed in a northern state would get just as hot.

When rolling back the pool cover to go skimming, it’s nice to go around the perimeter of the pool with this skimmer net to remove floating pine needles, leaves, and other debris that may have fallen into the pool. The skimmer is perfect for this kind of job. It’s got a nice pocket to collect the debris, and it empties easily with a quick flick. However, the pole is fairly flimsy and actually bends as the net goes along the water’s surface. Also, the pole is short, so there’s a limit to how far toward the middle of the pool you can go. Overall, it’s very good for light debris around the pool’s perimeter. However, it does not substitute for a good net with a 8-10′ pole.

So efficient. I was hesitant that it would be wise enough or made cheaply because the price was cheaper than pool stores but it is the best take skimmer! Gets all the debris in surface and scoop la up leaves from bottom.(I have a concrete In ground pool)
Very light and long. Was looking for something long enough to work my inground pool, and was pleasantly surprised with how light this was and how much I was able to get from one side of the pool.
Built well. I like the plastic guard that goes around the front of the net. This protects the net from abrasions while scooping. I am actually using this for my pond for algae and other debris. The pole comes in short lengths to extend longer or shorter. Thus far the net is working as I had hoped it would.
Works great. This is awesome. Easy to scoop us leaves and doesn’t tangle up. Made cleaning my koi pond much easier.
excellent, sturdy. Thanks to Megan Dahl for her video on this product. I bought it based on that video, and I am very pleased. The aluminum rim is solid, the pointed plastic edge is great for getting leaves off the pool bottom, and the extra buttons for attaching a pole make it easy. Thanks for a good product!
Smaller but mighty. While this pool leaf skimmer is slightly smaller than the previous 6-7 I’ve owned over the last 12-13 years it’s actually solving the one specific problem the others had and ultimately broke within 12-18 months of use and that’s the fact that it’s slightly smaller and way stronger when running it deep across the surface of the pool to scoop out smaller debris and dirt. The force at which you withdraw the skimmer typically is too much for one that has a bigger surface area and therefore weaker and breaks at the neck. Very happy so far!!
Easy to use. I love how wide and the size of this items is. It’s easy to catch all the leaves with this net. I like the light weight of this item.

Works great. Tried a cheaper alternative that was too small and flimsy to get the job done. Quickly replaced it with this one and have found it to be a great, quality product. Easily nets even clusters of leaves or branches.
Net is good, pole is flimsy. The net part is pretty good, I like the fine mesh, but the pole is easily dented. Still works well though!

End of season write-up. Well made and sturdy product. We have been using it for over 4 months now. An outstanding tool for keeping my pool clean and clear. The heavy-duty frame is solid and durable, allowing it to handle large amounts of debris without bending or breaking. The wide, deep net makes skimming both surface and deep leaves easy and efficient. It also glides through the water effortlessly, picking up everything from small particles to large leaves. The net’s design allows for fast drainage, making the cleaning process quicker. Overall, this skimmer rake is a game-changer for pool maintenance and worth every penny! Best Net Ever. In the past ten years we have used many nets to clean leaves and debris from out in ground pool. This net is the perfect size and had a tab you can hold when dumping out its contents. It seems to be of good quality at an affordable price.
Quality net for value. We have gone through a couple of these large plastic frame nets, so I know they don’t hold the weight a metal one would, but this one seems a bit more sturdy than some others. It can hold a lot of matter, yet that can also make it quite heavy, when full.I like the tab on the bottom, to grab while emptying (vs. vigorously shaking out matter).Fits perfectly snug on standard pool pole, & the connection is one with the frame (vs. an additional piece that clips in, & can pop out).For the plastic frame, deep net, this item is worth the value.
Nice leaf rake/net for the pool. The leaf net works well on our pool. The second finer mesh net has more resistance when raking the pool, but you will get used to it. The netting seems more durable than me previous net.
