Decent pool brush, but on the small size. Update: 07/03/2025I’m bumping this brush up a star. It has held-up quite well, despite the brush bristles not being as stiff/firm as I’d like. The brush has done a “better-than-just-serviceable” job and I want to give credit where it’s due. I try very hard to be fair and even-handed when I write a review because I know how vital reviews can be to the success (or lack thereof) of a business. While this brush is smaller than I really needed and while I was concerned about its durability with heavy use, I can honestly say the Sepetrel Pool Brush has done a fine job for me and has not deteriorated as I’d feared it would. This is a good brush considering the price-point at which it is offered. I would buy it again over anything I’ve seen at local pool stores (i.e. Leslie’s) or big-box home improvement stores (i.e. Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.). It’s a worthy product and I wanted to share that my initial doubts were unfounded.I bought both the Sepetrel Pool Brush and the Pool Net. I’ll talk about the Brush here. The brush seems well enough made and I like the rounded edge-bristles because they really help get the dirt and algae out of those corners, nooks and crannies. The bristles seem stiff and sturdy enough to be durable, but only time will tell. Here’s the bad news: this pool brush is small. Without taking out a tape measure I’d say the length of the brush is probably 10″ to 12″ smaller (measured side-to-side) than my old pool brush I bought from Home Depot.So, this brush is considerably smaller than what I had which means it’ll take a lot more brush strokes to brush down the same area. For smaller in-ground pools or in-ground gunite spas, this little brush will work well. For larger pools like mine (25,000 gallons), this brush means a lot more work if it’s the only one you’ve got, which means I’ll just us e this one for corners and crannies and the spa part of my pool, and I’ll purchase another, full-sized one for the brushing the main part of the pool.Overall, I’m disappointed because the brush is smaller than what I needed, but the fault is mine for pulling the trigger on the purchase because I should have looked more closely at the dimensions and measurements before I bought it. I DO like the round-edge design (which most brushes do not have). If this brush is full-sized and had this round-edged design, and also proved to be durable, this would be exactly what I’d want. Sadly, it isn’t — hence the rating: Good, but not great.

The curve makes all the difference. I don’t know why pool brushes are made any other way. The round the ends, allow me to clean around the curves in the bottom of the pool without feeling like I am damaging the liner. Great product!

Great Brush. This brush works perfectly in our pool. The size I a bit too short but not a deal breaker.

This is the brush to use when you clean your pool. I have recently bought the Sepetrel Pool Brush Head, and overall, I do think it’s a very solid product. It is well-built and very good-looking with solid bristles. Although for my use, the bristles are a bit too stiff for my pool. My pool has a fiberglass layer over a gunite base, which makes the walls slick and wavy. Because of this, the brush doesn’t sweep the walls all to well and evenly as expected. It works great on the flatter surfaces of the pool where I can apply more pressure with the pole.A little mishap on my part was when I left the brush with the bristles face down on the floor and the pole leaning against a wall. With the combination of the weight and heat outside it caused the bristles to fold back. I fixed the problem, but that was all on me. Overall, it’s a very good quality brush, but just be mindful of the bristle stiffness depending on your pool type.Suggestion to Sepertel, create a brush that is maybe more spongy yet non-porous.

Sepetrel Upgrade Pool Brush. This upgraded brush is wonderful. It is able to not only sweep the floors but can clean the steps and side of the steps all at once. The brush is sturdy and the bristles are medium hard. I was not concerned that it would damage the pool walls or floor. I have used the brush every week since it arrived. The size is perfect, the material is of good quality, the weight is just right. It’s easy to use, and it fits nicely in my hands. It a good value for the money. This brush will last years before it will need to be replaced. I’m happy with this purchase.

Great brush. My old brush broke, got this one and it works way better! Love how it gets the corners of our pool so much easier! The bristles are strong and so far have held up against the chlorine and sun.

Great product. Cleans quick and easy to use

Durable. As a pool service tech for about 15 years I’ve used plenty of brushes in my day. I usually buy the commercial grade ones at the pool store, which usually cost considerably more. They never lasted me that long in the bristles wear down fast however, I decided to go with a cheaper option and I purchased this one off Amazon it performs most of the ones I’ve ever purchased from my commercial Pool supplier. This thing is really really really durable and it’s got metal on. It makes it heavyer weight easier to slide around in the pool. The only downside to it is it’s not as big as the ones I’m used to using but for me it’s fine. It gets the job done. I’ve been using it for like three months every day on my work route and it’s still holding up fine. I think it’s going to hold up for a few more months before I need another one. I would purchase it again

Algae Bloom Brushed Away. When my pool turned green due to an algae bloom, I quickly learned that I needed to brush the pool walls and spa to disturb the settled algae in addition to treating the water with harsh chemicals. This brush did the trick. The flared ends are what set this brush apart. The brush contours the slopes where the pool walls meet the floor. It glides effortlessly and is easy to swap out with my pool net that I already own. That little bit of engineering that went into connecting the brush head without pinching your fingers was considerate. I also dig the pleasing green trim.

Works for a couple of years. Have to replace every couple years, the bristles melt away or come off.

Good buy. This is working well for me. I have a pebbletec surface and it’s a softer brush than the usual style. I like the rounded edges. Because the bristles are more flexible it makes it easier for me to manage brushing the pool because I’m not very strong.

Best pool brush. Love this brush. Works better than any pool brush I’ve owned. Great for steps and corners.
