Works almost too well. Great battery life. Almost an hour per charge! Suction is fantastic. However…..the collection area is so small, that it fills up in only 3 minutes. Once full of sand, dust, etc, it just starts allowing the dirt to go right through. Having to stop and clean out the collection area every 3 minutes gets old really quickly, as it involves rinsing two separate sleeves as well as the inside of the unit with the hose. So for each 3 minutes of use, you are cleaning it out for 5 minutes…..
Great for Right Situations (and People). PROS: Simple design, great suction for algae and silt, responsive customer service. I’m a new pool owner with a fairly large pool that has a diveable deep end. The expensive robot cleaner that came with the house died so I’ve been struggling to clean the algae, leaves, and silt since we opened the pool this summer. This is not designed for grabbing big or even medium leaves but it does a bang-up job on algae and silt. It even does a good job of getting the corners and whatever that is where the bottom and the sides meet. I emailed about the charging dilemma (see cons) and received a quick response on a Saturday with a link to a video (minimally helpful because my hands aren’t the strongest).CONS: The flipping charger is the biggest con. They clearly failed to user test this thing. Read the answers to the question I posted and you’ll see how we are making it happen (spoiler: you gotta tilt it in). If you have arthritis or poor hand strength, this is not for you. The other cons are minor for me. If you are cleaning a lot of debris, you have to stop and clean the filter every few minutes; this is designed more for regular maintenance cleaning and is perfect for it. Related to these bigger cleaning jobs, the 4 hour charging time means it won’t get done in one day.SUGGESTIONS: If you have a deep end, you’ll need to put this on your sturdy pool pole so buy another if you don’t want to have to switch it out every week. Vacuum as much as possible while you are in the pool; I even did a bunch of the deep end from my floaty, lol. Brush your top step cuz you can’t use this for it. To connect the charger, tilt one prong into a slit and then carefully and gently as possible, push the other one in. (Ladies-of-a-certain-age, if you can, just give it to your husband or teenage son.) Finally, for larger jobs, start early and eat a good meal while recharging the first time; mix a pitcher of margaritas during the second recharging and the rest of the day is a breeze and the pool is beautiful at the end of the day.IDEAS FOR WATERTECH: Hey, if you’re reading this…. Overall, great job! Some of us would pay for attachments like a bigger vacuum head for bigger jobs, additional filters, and an edger like you get with your household vacuum cleaner. And, of course, fix the charger. (Seriously, do some user testing with men and women, young and old.)

nice pool vacuum. works very well in my case . Had a lot of leaves in the bottom of the pool and this got rid of them . requires frequent emptying but gets the job done ! Nice touch are the 2 spare microfine filter covers that really help pull up silt or sand from the bottom.
NEED IMPROVEMENT. The product is GREAT Except for the HANDLE- Very flimzzy- Called and was suggested to use a stand 1 14″ pool which snapped on easy– I had a new one on my brush. The company should recommend using a standard pool pole. As the pole included if made out of a plastic and cannot withstand the beautiful suction that he product gives. I really love it and it does a great job for everyday cleaning.
Millennium vacuum. I have a pool service company. This vacuum is a life saver! It’s lightweight, has great suction,& pretty long battery charge. I use it to clean cowboy pools, & above ground pools, I’m very happy with this one!
Works very well. This vacuum works very well for me. It has excellent suction and I have no problem cleaning my 24′ circular pool on a single charge. The charging port is a bit awkward but would not prevent me from purchasing again. However….I had some very fine silt in the bottom of the pool because when I installed a new sand filter I didn’t backwash it well enough before using it the first time. The Pool Blaster sucked it up easily but it was so fine that it went through the catch bag and right back into the pool even after using the additional fine collection sock. I had to put my sand filter on waste flush and use my old vacuum system to suck it up and expel it from the pool but for normal dirt and small debris it was excellent at picking it up. The catch bag is fine for normal cleaning but if you have a lot of leafs it will fill quickly and require a lot of emptying. I have a large tree in close proximity to my pool so I know. I just decided to buy a vac designed specifically for leafs to avoid the aggravation. Being able to avoid turning the filter off, disconnecting the skimmer, connecting the vacuum hose, turning the filter back on and then reversing the whole process when done was a nice plus. Hopefully it lasts a long time and if it does I won’t hesitate to purchase again when necessary.

Stopped charging after one month. Normally don’t write reviews, but for the cost of this item, to stop charging and be no longer usable after one month, felt that information may be helpful to someone else. When it was working, it was a good product, but will not be purchasing another one.
Great suction, lightweight, easy to use. We are very impressed with this cordless vacuum!!! We have an above ground swimming pool and it has a few wrinkles and dips and this thing is amazing! We also have the Aiper robot vacuum and it gets a lot too, but the handheld gets what Aiper can’t! Plus it’s great to vacuum the bottom edges, around pool ladder, and sidewalls!!! Highly recommend!!!
Great purchase. This has terrific suction and works great. I can’t believe how much sand and debris this thing is able to suck up as well as really large bugs and leaves. It also has great battery life. One of my best purchases ever. Well worth the money.
Makes pool cleaning easy. Good battery life.Easy to use, and cleans up quickly.Vacuums thoroughly with excellent results.Don’t know how I managed without it.A little pricey but well worth it.
Good Product. Overall seems to suck up debris well, just not ideal for shallow water like a tanning ledge as most of it has to be underwater to not take in air and lose suction.
$200 junk with no warranty. I purchased the Pool Blaster Millennium less than a year ago, using it about once a month. Despite reading reviews warning of a short battery life, I decided to give it a try—how bad could it be? Initially, I was pleased. Straight out of the box, the suction was strong, and I felt satisfied with my choice. However, by the six-month mark, the battery life began to shorten, and the suction power declined noticeably. To my surprise, by the eighth month, the unit completely stopped working. It won’t even charge, and now the battery dies within 15 seconds.I attempted to reach the seller, but received no response—there’s no phone number, and no warranty information beyond the generic note on Amazon: “Please contact the seller directly for warranty information for this product. You may also be able to find warranty information on the manufacturer’s website.”Had I purchased a different brand, I would have been covered by a standard one-year manufacturer warranty. Unfortunately, this product offers no such protection.
Love, love , love this vacuum. This is the second one of these vacuums i have owned. The last gave up after about 6 summers of almost daily summer use. Ordered a new one this year. Fast shipping, easy to charge, easy to use, allows for spot cleaning of specific areas, or you can clean the entire pool with it and still have plenty of battery left. Just might have to clean the filter bag about 1/2 through if you are picking up a lot of debris. Good quality, long battery life, does what they advertise.
