Great dog bowl. We have a basset, great pyranese mix who had outgrown her bowl that was kept on a mat on the floor, so I searched for a lifted one that would also work with her current slow feeder since it was necessary to keep it.I wasn’t sure that it would fit, and although it doesn’t fit into the hole, it is able to sit right on top without sliding around and falling off. That is a huge plus and saved us from having to buy another slow feeder bowl to fit the hole. The bowls that come with this are very deep so we don’t have to fill her water bowl up as often as before, so that’s another great feature.I also really like that this comes with three options for height so it’s more versatile but we ended up needing the tallest option anyways. Hopefully she doesn’t get too much taller or I may have to add some more lift to it. She loves the ease of access now which makes me happy too.I will say that it is a no brainer to put it together but is kind of unsteady. I read some other reviews and placed it up against the wall so it’s perfectly fine, but I’m not sure it wouldn’t get tipped over by a stronger dog on the tallest setting if it weren’t against the wall. The middle height setting is also unsteady but since it’s closer to the ground I don’t think it would ever tip over. I didn’t try the shortest.An added benefit is that my dog doesn’t seem to make such a mess when eating and definitely doesn’t splash water as much with this being at a better height for her size, and the size of the bowls.

Nice. The media could not be loaded. I was really happy to buy this since my German Shepherd mix, Red, was always craning her head down to eat or drink. As soon as I got it, I washed the bowls and set it up, and it looks like it’ll make things a lot easier for her!This was a little less than $30, and I don’t think it’s too bad. The bowls were decent, if not a little flimsy (I felt if I weren’t careful, I could easily bend it out of shape), and assembly took about 10 seconds – you only have to pop the pieces into the sides to match your dog’s height. One thing I’m not too crazy about is it’s sturdiness, or lack thereof. As its assembly is simple to a fault, it means it’s a little wobbly – I put two fingers on it and gently moved it and it swayed side to side. The good thing is it didn’t seem to move too much while Red was eating, so perhaps if your dog is a little too excited by food, this may not be right for you. Overall, I’m happy to have bought this and I’m sure Red is, too.

Oversized bowls! Do dogs really eat that much. Brought this for my 5 month old gsd since she not only outgrew the bowls I bought when she was a puppy that only held one cup each (which meant I had to refill them multiple times per meal) but I felt it couldn’t possibly be comfortable for her neck to bend down like that while eating. So far, I’m satisfied with the purchase. Not only are the bowls extremely large (holds about 6 cups each), she looks more comfortable while eating. Currently, I have it on the medium height and the legs are seem sturdy. My only concern is if/when I would have to raise it to the maximum height, whether the legs would remain that way when she reaches her full size and dives in. I suppose if I don’t update this review by then – approximately, 4 to 7 months – you can assume everything remains well and we’re still satisfied. 4 stars because there’s no such thing as perfection but it’s close.

Nice elevated bowls that look decorative. These elevated bowls and stand are perfect size for my 81 lb German Shepard lab mix. My cat loves the stand up and drink out of his bowl so it did flip over on him. Wasn’t fun to clean up but hasn’t happened since and I put it against a wall now.

Great addition for my dog. He was a bit hesitant with the height but I think after letting him use it more he seems to enjoy eating out the bowl. A little wobbly but doesn’t tilt over at all. It was pretty affordable and was big enough for food and water.

Helped my pup not throw up as much. My pup would always eat to fast and with the dish on the floor, it would cause her to throw up a lot. With her head eating up higher, it helped her eat it without getting sick. It doesn’t slide, easy to learn and easy to clean when needs cleaned. Well worth the money!!
