Takes some elbow grease. I have cherry kitchen cabinets. You can’t really see the dirt unless you look closely, and then it’s almost embarrassing to see all those missed dribbles and fingerprints. Most spills wipe off with a little vinegar water and a terry towel or some pledge wood cleaner, but around the knobs…! That’s another story. I read about this product in a magazine, so thought I’d give it a try, hoping to get the built up sticky grime off from around the knobs. First I applied the cleaner with a damp cloth as instructed, rubbed and rubbed, but it only removed the lightest of smudges. I applied it more thickly and waited a few minutes, and using a sponge with a gentle scratchy pad, meant for Teflon pans, I went at it. That worked. When I was done I saw that one cabinet that gets used a lot, had actually been worn clear through the varnish to the raw wood. I don’t think the cleaner and scratchy pad did this. The wood had just been so dirty that I hadn’t noticed the 15 years of damage!I wonder if I had just used the scratchy pad and my vinegar water, if it would have had the same results without this product? Any how, after gently scrubbing away the soil, I polished away the excess product with a soft cloth. It leaves a waxy feel to the wood surface, sort of like the waxy feeling that treated apples feel like when they put that shinny stuff on them at the market, or if you were to rub candle wax on wood… not really a slippery feeling. I just wanted the cupboards clean, not waxy. But maybe that will protect them from getting as dirty in the future. Meanwhile, I need to get some varnish out and fix the one cupboard door before it gets grimy again. So I rate this product a three because it didn’t clean away the old build up without considerable effort.
I was skeptical – but I’m a believer now. Magic in a bottle. After moving into a condo recently where the previous owner wasn’t a big fan of doing much deep cleaning, I knew I was in for some serious work. I used every product and home remedy I could find to try and clean the dirt and layers of grease covering the kitchen cabinets. The bathroom was another sad story, the vanity was coated in grime and hair spray and whatever else hadn’t been cleaned off in forever. I cleaned and disinfected both rooms and called it good enough for moving in. I wasn’t completely satisfied, but I was tired of scrubbing and buffing. Fast forward a couple of months and this little beauty showed up out of nowhere as a suggested product I may like. It was highly-rated, affordable and I was rejuvenated and ready to do some more cleaning. I thought “What the heck? If it doesn’t work I’m only out a few bucks. Maybe it will end up being the magic potion.” Well, let me just say that it was indeed the magic potion. I could’ve saved myself hours of cleaning had I started with this cream. It cut right through the remaining junk on both my kitchen and bathroom cabinets instantly. They are clean and shiny and beautiful! I was amazed and ecstatic. My home is sparkling and I’m on a cleaning binge since first trying this product yesterday. I’m using this stuff everywhere I can in this condo and will continue to recommend it to anyone who will listen. This Parker & Bailey cream is to cabinets what fels naptha is to laundry. A magical, miracle product that I will use forever, Give it a shot – and become a believer like I now am. You won’t be disappointed.

Works well. I just moved into a house thats about 12 years old. The cabinets looked ok but there was room for improvement. I felt the amount to use was vague, it just says, a small amount, I felt like I needed to use more. I’m guessing the cabinets weren’t that dirty because my cloth stayed rather clean. It definitely conditions the wood and brings out a shine. Although I wouldn’t call it a “brilliant luster”, as the bottle describes. I have a very small kitchen so I may have used 1/4 of the bottle. If you have a big kitchen buy a few bottles. I can’t judge its use for deep cleaning, as I said, my cabinets weren’t that dirty. Definitely recommend, just not as impactful as I was hoping.

Great product. I was unable to find the product I had used for years. I found this and decided to try it. It works great. Cleans well and shines my cabinets without a residue.
Completely cleaned and made 11 year old model home cabinets look new. Just followed the directions used on my moms 11 year old cabinets, they came clean and look practically new. 100% better then before.
It’s a furniture polish. It is a fancy furniture polish. I used it on real oak 20 year old cupboards and they are a little shiny, lots of elbow grease, not a cleaner!
Amazed at the results. Even though the reviews were great, I assumed my cabinets were beyond repair. These are in a rental unit and after years of neglect, water, etc., I assumed the finish was ruined. I tried this and Restore-A-Finish. The cream is amazing on the doors and creates a nice shine like they have a new finish on them. For most of the doors, the cream works fine, but for the worst doors, the Restore-A-Finish filled in the missing stain better. A topcoat of this cream made them look like new.
Cleans and shines at the same time. The media could not be loaded. Wish I’d found this sooner! I went down the rabbit hole reading forums where professional cleaners weighed in and this product was recommended numerous times. I thought, why not, for the price? I’m working on a house where the cabinets are covered in fly spots and this stuff works like MAGIC. For the most part I don’t even have to apply pressure, just put a little dab on a cloth, swipe, and done. I spot tested it on brushed nickel with a microfiber also and woah! It works better than stainless polish. It also has a light, pleasant scent.
New Kitchen. This product worked like a charm on my cabinets over my stove top. Despite using oven vent, grease and grime built up. This product was EASY to use…wipe on, wait a bit, wipe off…in one application! Made recently restained /restored cabinets like new

Not for heavy stains but gave a new refresh look. Not removing heavy stains, but it gave a fresh look for cabinets.

Awesome wood cleaner. Great wood cleaner! It took all of the oil and grease off of my wood dining room chairs and table.
