  1. Good product. Good product. Started giving to my rescue dog daily for bad breath and to my frenchton for dental maintenance. It helped my rescue tremendously. The only side effect from daily use is that she began having very liquid stools. We stopped giving daily and now just twice a week. Seems to have fixed the bathroom issue. This product has a strong artificial vanilla fragrance. The dogs really like them. They are very sticky and chewy so the dogs don’t gobble them down like a treat. My frenchton hates them but she is a very picky girl anyway. Brushing their teeth is more effective but sometimes don’t have time daily to do so. May purchase again but these are very expensive. Each chew is individually wrapped and I like this because they stay fresh and don’t dry out and become rock hard. The packaging is quite nice.

  2. It’s a 7pm Beagle call. Our Beagle can be sound asleep but at 7pm sharp every evening he wakes up and reminds us it’s time for his “bone!” He’s a Senior (almost 11) and I don’t want to have to have his teeth cleaned because of the anesthesia. These have worked very well for him and he absolutely loves them! Great treat for him that serves it’s purpose! WinWin!

  3. It took a few tries but my Beagle now loves the Dental Chews. I have a young ‘rescue’ beagle who is fickle about chews and toys. So am I. He has bodacious beagle breath at times & I have tried a number of products. It took a few tries but he finally decided he like these over other chews. The OraVet seems to help with his breath. The only draw back is once the chew is wet it leaves a green residue – the green washes out easily but it is one more thing I have to deal with. And, my beagle’s poop is sometimes ‘dental chew’ green. The upside is I now know my dogs digestive cycle is about 12 hours! I would prefer it did not have wheat – wheat is really is not that great for dogs or people. At least it is in small quantities in the chews.

  4. My dog seems to like them. We tried whimsy’s but my dog will only eat the green ones and I always worry about that big bulgy end that he’s going to choke on. So I bought these which were vet recommended. my dog seems to like them. Whether they work or not I won’t know for a couple months but I’m pretty sure they will.

  5. Work great! Recommended by my vet. These are amazing— my dogs teeth are visibility cleaner.

  6. Dog loves these. My dog loves these! Not sure if they do actually have any dental benefit but she likes them. She gets sick from Greenies but no issues from these so that is a win in my book.

  7. Actually works. I have an Australian cattle dog that has always had stinky breath. We feed him a high quality diet. He’s not a gassy dog. He’s just always had such bad breath. He has always had a little visible plaque on his teeth, but nothing unusual. We got him when he was 1.5 years and he came with the stinky breath. I tried brushing his teeth but would get slack on it. At his annual vet exam 9 months our vet suggested this product. He does sell it in his office and offered a free dental exam after 3 months of daily use, so I knew he made money off the product, but I still tried it. So it’s been about 9 months, and it’s suddenly dawned on me that he doesn’t have bad breath anymore. My family has always avoided my dog’s “kisses”, which he is very generous with, because of his stank mouth, but today I realized he doesn’t have bad breath anymore!! He has normal puppy dog breath, but no more stanky mouth! So I am a believer and will use these with him for the rest of his life and also for any of our future dogs.

  8. They work. Purchased these for my 25 pound mini goldendoodle whose breath smells like a fish market. They actually work. Her breath smells minty, as if she actually brushed her teeth with human toothpaste. I don’t feel the need to give her one every single day. Maybe every other day. Her poop is green now because that’s the color of the treat. But we haven’t had any issues with vomiting or irregular poops. I think it’s a great product and would recommend them. She loves eating them, too.

  9. Works well. They seem to do a very good job of keeping my dogs teeth clean. I was using greenies before, but these seem to work better. Also, with the greenies, my one dog would inhale it so fast that she would later throw up big chunks of it. These are very chewy, and it takes longer for her to eat them. They love the taste and look forward to their treat every night at bedtime.

  10. My Dog Goes NUTS For These & They Work. My dog goes absolutely crazy when she knows one of these are coming her way. She can literally hear the bag and starts doing zoomies. She goes right in her crate with just a finger point. I’m assuming they must taste good and they’re slightly harder and chewy which I’m sure is big for a heavy chewer like my dog. They don’t smell terrible and neutralize my dogs bad breath. These do not make her breath smell good, just makes it not smell bad. They’re all individually wrapped, easy to grab/open, and seem to be good quality, however, I’m giving it 4-stars instead of 5 solely for the fact I think they’re a little expensive. We are on our second 30-day bag and we will probably continue to buy them, but would be nice if they could get the cost down a little bit.

  12. MY DOG LOVES THEM. My dog loves it. It does seem to help his bad breath, and help clean his teeth.

  13. Great for tarter control. My dogs love and it really keeps their teeth clean.

  14. Essential dog care to go along with brushing. After my dog was diagnosed with bad dental plaque and needed an expensive procedure to correct the problem I was advised to use these by my veterinarian to go along with normal brushing. Fortunately both my dogs love them and are eager to eat them whenever offered. I don’t use them all the time despite my vet telling me that is is safe to use them more regularly, so I was told to ‘stop being stingy’ with these dental treats. I’ve tried to be more conscientious with my dogs and have tried to balance their desire for treats and their needs for clean and healthy teeth. Interestingly enough, the smell for these treats smell like vanilla and actually have a pleasant flavor.. don’t ask how I know.

  15. Clean teeth. Our dog loves this dental chew! Not only is it like a treat for him but in combination with daily teeth brushing I have noticed a significant improvement in his dental plaque. Keep in mind that it does make his poop a green color but has not caused any diarrhea. Would highly recommend this product for others.
