It really is Cozy. July 2022: Still going strong. I realized I never mentioned there is no auto shut off, but I have noticed if I leave them on all night after ripping it off my face cuz I’m half asleep, it loses about 10% battery life. Sooo, that’s still not bad!Update 1: we think someone actually took our mask when we weren’t there. Bought 2 more, same great quality!Insomniacs and/or anxious people, the time has come to catch those Z’s! I was very worried about the speakers bothering me and they don’t. I even received the battery FULLY charged (showed on my phone after connecting). I used it for a quick nap and I only remember hitting play.They aren’t completely noise cancelling though, but they get the job done. I could still hear clearly what I set to play (ASMR).As for light, there’s still a bit peeking through near the nose bridge, but I also have blackout curtains so that helped. I am thinking of adding a wire along the nose to see if that will make it 100% blacked out.I included a photo of what the eye covers look like as I didn’t find any before and it gives your eyes plenty of room to open. The mask has Velcro fastening which doesn’t bother me but it may to other people. I tuck it under my hair near my neck and had to tighten it, so of you have a large head, this mask has your back!Charges via USB-MicroUSB connection. The charging cable is tucked in the mask which is plush so you won’t feel it. My boyfriend was curious as he also has trouble sleeping and he LOVES it. I’ll be buying him one too. He was surprised how padded the sides are. Overall amazing, you won’t be disappointed.
I would buy again but it has some quirks. I do like these. I did not like the one without the cushion and cut out for the eyes. They put too much pressure on my eyes and caused pain so I purchased the other option instead after receiving the wrong color on my first order. This second one feels much better. As a sleep mask, it’s great. Wifi bluetooth feature works great. The issue I have is the location of the speakers. They are adjustable which is good so you can move them to align with your ears but when you velcro them in place, they like to slide down a bit. The speakers do tend to move around so you need to constantly adjust unless you sleep still in one position. Once aligned to your ears, the volume is much better. I am having issues figuring out the volume control outside of using my phone. Instead, it skips songs even with a quick touch.I haven’t attempted to use the phone portion of this device.They do cause sweating but I’m also low in Vit D so that might be contributing.The worst part about them is the ‘battery low’ announcement that will continue to yell at you till you finally just turn it off and avoid using them until they’re recharged. This apparently starts once the charge is down to 10%. I rather a one time warning and then give me the option to run them down or stop and charge. When you’re trying to sleep, that’s the last thing you want to hear. I’m good with them dying while I drift sleep but that constant announcement just wakes me back up and causes irritation which doesn’t help with achieving sleep.I love my Bose noise cancelling headphones (by far, the absolute best) but you can’t really side sleep with those on so this truly does help to get comfortable and sleep while listening to music or white noise. I’d buy them again. One of my kids doesn’t like them at all and won’t wear them. That’s ok, gives me a back up.
New model: 4.8 stars. I’ve had a Music Cozy for years now and love the product. My old one was wearing and I somehow lost it while traveling so I bought a new one. There are some improvements but some things are worse IMO.Sound: 5 Stars – sound is even better than before! Only downside is that the speakers are rounded not flatlike before.Padding: I mproved Padding and shape format around the eyes. If you have decent eyelashes you will appreciate the domed space around the eyes.Size/Adjustablikity: the mask is Adjustable to fit any head. However, the Velcro closure catches hair easily. Another flaw is that the new Velcro is Super Loud so don’t unvelcro it while your partner is in bee asleep next to you.Charging: here is a non-improvment. The old model had the Charging port in the top middle part of the mask. Super easy. This version, you have to dig out a cable that is positioned on the side. It is harder to charge and takes adjustment to get it positioned so you don’t feel it.Overall, I am happy but prefer my older one.
Soft and great at blocking the light, could be a little better. I have been using “sleep” headphones for a long time. They are a significant part of my nighttime “sleep hygiene” and I sleep much better listening to books while falling asleep. So far, I have felt these were a good version of the concept.- They are very good at blocking light. My wife can turn on the bedroom light and – if they are properly positioned – the light does not penetrate. I would think anyone who needs to sleep in places or at times when it isn’t dark will find these work extremely well even as just a sleep mask.- Sound quality is acceptable. I used these on a plane and was able to hear my book clearly without having to boost the volume. However, they do NOT ‘block’ much outside sound, I can hear people talking to me and other sounds fairly clearly. It is possible to reposition the speakers to be more fully on your ears, though it requires some effort and doesn’t really do much to block the outside sounds.- They are a little heavy. On the plus side this means they are great at blocking light and staying in place, but wonder if they will feel hot in warmer situations. I can see them feeling very hot in warmer climates. And, it also means it take a couple of nights to get used to that heavy feeling when you are trying to sleep.- The Bluetooth module can feel hard against your head. There is minimal padding on the back of the module. It would be nice if they moved the module or use a version that was thinner or better padded.- There is no integrated volume control (only On, Previous, Next). You have to control the volume on the connected phone or computer. This can be a little annoying… you lay down, realize it is too loud or soft, have to roll back over and open your phone to adjust, etc. It would be much nicer if you could adjust it on the device (much more useful than the Prev/Next buttons).
Works great but slightly uncomfortable for side sleepers. I have been using musicozy for quite awhile now and love their products. Before this one I had one hearted for side slippers that was perfect. I decided to try this one out and am not disappointed but I will be getting the one hearted for side slippers next time as this one is slightly uncomfortable on the ears. But otherwise a great buy, with great sound! Would def buy again
Comfortable. I bought 2 of these for my son and myself. I work overnights so it can be difficult to sleep during the day with light, but more importantly for me was sound. I can’t sleep with a lot of extra sounds. I can put these on and start some music or soothing sounds and I’m out like a light for hours! My son has similar issues. He wears his every night – literally *every* night! This headband does such a great job of blocking out the light that if you take them off during the day you will have to slowly adjust your eyes to the light again! And the deep pockets around the eyes eliminates the painful pressure that can accumulate. They hold a charge for a long time. I only have to charge mine about once a week and I have them playing for hours each time. I just plug it up before I go to work and they are ready when I get home.Con: the port in the mask is the micro USB which is not as common as the usb-C
Sleeping like a rock. I have Misophonia, meaning certain noises really get to me – very flight or fight mode. Unfortunately, it also affects my sleep quality. I have a box fan, white noise, etc and I could still hear my husbands mouth breathing or the creaks in the house. Then I got this eye mask and literally my sleep health changed! I use my noise machine app on my phone to pair with the blue tooth, the eye part on the mask is wonderful bc it doesn’t smush my eyelids, the speakers and buttons don’t hurt and stick through the fabric, and it stays on well! I’m a tosser and turner too so have been impressed with how well it stays on through the night. That’s not to say that sometimes it moves a bit, but nothing like my past masks. One suggestion – if you have longer hair, try braiding it so it doesn’t get as affected by the Velcro straps 🙂
Good enough for the price. So, overall, I’m happy with this sleep band. The sound is good enough, plus you’re not exactly looking for high quality sound when you’re trying to go to sleep. Instead, you want a flat tone that doesn’t change levels much and one that will help zone you out. This band delivers in that regard.The band is comfortable, the recessed eye sockets are great, the material is very soft, the velcro closure on the back is comfy and stays out of the way, and you can completely sleep on your side and not feel the speakers inside the band. The band completely blocks out all light. Also, the band is not cumbersome and it doesn’t make your head hot. I can wear the band all night long and never notice it.My two issues with the band are the led lights on the front and the loudness of the buttons. If I slept by myself, then it would be just fine. However, if you share a bed, then the lights are going to completely annoy your partner as will the loud and clicky buttons. Please note the lights go off once bluetooth is connected, so it’s really only an issue when first putting the band on. I tend to put the band on in the middle of the night, so that’s why it’s an issue for me. The buttons to turn on the band and control the volume and other features is incredibly loud. There is a very annoying click each time the button is pushed. For example, to enter the nature sound settings you click the down volume button three times and it completely annoys my bed partner. If they could turn down the led light and decrease the loud buttons, then this would be a five start product for sure.Overall, I’m keeping the band and it works well enough. Just be aware of these little issues.
Bluetooth sleeping mask that is perfect for me. For the past several years, I have purchased so many sleeping Bluetooth masks on Amazon and never been really happy with them. My head is smaller than I guess normal adult heads, so they were always too big and I would have to tighten it as far as they would go, while the Velcro on the strap would always stop sticking. I’m a side sleeper, so usually I would wake up and it feel like my ears were going to snap apart, they hurt so bad. Light would seep through. The loud warnings when they’re going dead waking me up while asleep.I have bought musicozy in the past as well. I have actually found this brand to be my favorite out of all the brands I’ve tried. If I try another brand, I usually end up disappointed but still not satisfied completely with any of the musicozy sleeping mask, until I tried this one.It’s so comfortable, no light seeps through between my nose, it fits my small head perfectly and for once, the Velcro stays in place.The speakers don’t kill my ears when I wake up of the mornings. They no longer feel like they will snap off my face when I wake up. The speakers don’t move and stay in place. The volume is super comfortable. I can still hear my cats when they’re acting crazy at nights on top of the sleeping mask, but that’s totally fine. The charge on it lasts as long as all the others do that I’ve tried. I always have to charge them every other day. I threw away all of my previous sleeping masks that were still working away when I received this one. I’ve noticed they usually last for about a year or two, so when this one stops working, I’m afraid of trying another sleeping mask since I found this one. This one has been absolutely PERFECT for me and I will be buying again when I need a new one. I totally recommend this sleeping mask and musicozy. I have deeply regretted it anytime I’ve bought a different brand besides this one.I also hardly ever write reviews on anything unless they are really really good or really really bad. And I’ve been meaning to write a review on this mask for awhile. I have been using them to sleep for the past 4 years consecutively and this is the best one I’ve tried in 4 years. While it might not be the best for other people, it is for me.Def recommend if you have a small head and struggle trying to keep them on at nights without having to worry about the speakers moving around all over the place. When wake up, both my speakers are still resting comfortably on my ears. With some, I would wake up and the speakers would be at the back of my head or on top of my head. This is also great for side sleepers. I no longer wake up with very sore ears.I couldn’t be more happier or pleased to have finally found the perfect Bluetooth sleeping mask. One of my favorite purchases from Amazon!!
comfortable and good sound quality. I use these so I can listen to asmr and go to sleep. I like them, they are good quality sleep headphones. They aren’t too tight on my head, the inner ear pieces are easy to adjust, and most importantly is they stay put while I sleep. When I wake up, my the sleep headphones are in the same place on my head as where I had them when I went to sleep. Previous sleep mask headphones I’ve used slip off while I’m sleeping, which was getting annoying. Great battery life. I also like wearing them while watching shows, wearing them like a regular headband.
Very comfortable, blocks light perfectly, and the sound is weirdly good, considering it’s cheaply made. Originally I took a star off because it’s described as having a battery that charges in 2 hours and then lasts for 10 hours of use. It takes very little time to charge, but ran out of juice after around 4 hours *the first couple of times*, but last night it played white noise all night, and I had SUCH A GOOD SLEEP. I think it just needed some gentle encouragement, and now it’s delivering on its promises. HIGHLY recommend, especially if you need total darkness and sleep with a chainsaw.
Game Changer. This product does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It blocks out all of the light, pairs with my phone, and plays whatever I need. The volume is perfect to either just quietly lull you to sleep, or can be loud enough to block out someone snoring next you. And it’s sooooo comfortable! I have no problems keeping it on all night!
Product concept is great but. This mask is a lifesaver and I use it literally every night to go to sleep. It easily connects via Bluetooth and it’s battery life generally lasts all night as long as it is charged regularly. There are a few problems that make it sort of a pain tho and I wish they could be fixed, such as:1. The earphones in the mask are not secured and they move around freely within the envelope of the fabric. They are easy to readjust tho, but I wish I didn’t have to.2. Similarly, the power and volume control box drifts around inside the fabric and I wish it stayed put. I will likely stitch it into place soon, but I really shouldn’t have to.3. Only the volume up works on mine.4. You can’t use it while charging. If it is plugged in, they won’t work, and while they charge pretty quickly, it sucks if you’re settling into your sleep routine to find you can’t listen to anything until they are charged enough.5. I have had these about 7 months now and all of the above problems have always been there, but recently, my battery dies daily and requires a charge everyday. I don’t know if it will continue lasting through the night.Anyway, I use thes on planes, in the car, lend them to my little son when he needs a little help falling asleep, and mostly every night so my podcasts and music don’t bother my husband. The sound stays with me and he never hears any residual noise from whatever I’m listening to. All in all, worth the money and I love having them, I just wish they were a little higher quality.
Soothing sleep with this. Comfortable and cool. It’s nice to be able to play some soothing sleep sounds to be able to sleep and never had any problems with connecting. Easy to charge and doesn’t let any light in. Love it!
High quality. Very comfortable, great sounding when using Bluetooth for music. Adjustable band at the back. I use it every night. Would be lost without it. I wore my first one out in 4 years!
A-MA-ZING. This mask is the most comfortable mask ever! I really love the indentation on the inside so it’s not squishing my eyelids. The speakers work phenomenally well and the battery lasts a long time. 10/10 recommend.
Effective, cozy but with a few flaws. First of all I have to say that this works better for smaller heads, my head is a bit large but this still fits nicely with a bit of an allowance on the velcro. The nose part has a flappy fabric bit that is originally a bit odd but I quickly felling love with the design of it and how it helps to block the light effectively without having to use a small metal bit to bend it over your nose. The caveats the face mask have to be the quality of the silk, it doesn’t really feel all too silky, more like a thin luxe satin or cheap satin. It can snag easily with your nails so be careful with it. Second thing I don’t like about this is the headphones they came with. The headphones have this weird protective fabric that make it super hard and annoying to both insert back into the sleeping mask and to take it out, so much so that i just decided to take the headphone part from my old MUSICOZY headphones and use those for the silk one instead (those ones have a silicone grip around the ear part that makes it super easy to insert into the new silk sleeping mask)
I quite like this sleep aid. I am a restless sleeper so this moves a bit because I move a lot. Easily fixed tho.It is very comfortable. The speakers are well done, if they are not right over my ears, I can hardly hear them. The more important thing is my partner doesn’t hear them at allThe one drawback is, as you wear it, it develops little wispy bits of fabric around your nose. Which tickle your nose, thus sneezing.
This is hecking awesome. So, I’ve waited nine months to review these side sleeper headphone/eyemask so I could give it a fair review. A small amount of downsides: the cushioning to keep the mask from touching your eyes gave out in less than two weeks, which was a huge bummer but the headband is adjustable and I’ve easily adapted and it’s not a big deal. I got the set that is supposed to be breathable/cooler in the heat- once it gets to 80 degrees F its just too hot for your face… that’s it. Other than that I have not had anything I have disliked about this mask/headphones.I’m a really light sleeper so if anything is bothersome in the least bit- I’m not sleeping. I was super surprised to find how comfortable these were to side sleep in. It took some getting used to because while the headphone speaker is very low profile you still can feel it. It’s not uncomfortable though.I can turn it up all the way, if I want to, and not bother my husband… I only did that once to see if he could hear it then turned it right down because it was too loud and hurt my ears. For being cheap headphones the balance is pretty good- I was very pleasantly surprised with that as well.The battery life has also been excellent. I listen to sleep sounds all night long (Generally 8 ish hours). I can get away with charging it every three days so if I forget once or twice its not a problem. If it does need charged it doesn’t seem to take long to charge up all the way either. The charge port is weird in that if you have it tucked in it’s pocket you can’t feel it but if it’s sticking out it feels huge.I’ve taken this camping several times and halfway across the country on a trip and it’s held up great!I’ve taken phone calls on this while in the middle of a migraine and it was super handy. I didn’t think that I was ever going to use that feature so that was a happy surprise. Ngl I tossed the instructions after I got the hang of using it and that happened to line up with my cat nuzzling my face/forehead in the middle of the night and he somehow called my mom at like 1:30 in the morning through the headphone/mask- I have zero idea how he did that and don’t let him love on my face that hard at night anymore. If you have a very affectionate cat, you might accidentally call people in your sleep. Keep that in mind.
Good quality, long lasting. My hubs wears his every night. I ordered two and one finally stopped working after a year. He loves these. They are so dark, I have to wake him up because he thinks it’s still night. He syncs it with his iPad music station and has it on all night. I have washed them – very easy to do. Also easy to charge and battery lasts about 14 hours. Fits his large head comfortably and he says the sound quality is good, too.
