Decent brush. I just adopted a double-coated dog (blue heeler) and he was very itchy and shed a lot when we first got him. Not unusual for the breed, but when we started to brush him I was totally shocked – We could get 3 brushfulls of undercoat out of him in one sitting! After using this brush 5 or 6 days a week for 2 weeks, plus a bath, we don’t get nearly as much off of him. Part of that could be because his nutrition is better now, but my guess is that he had a lot of undercoat built up – consistency paid off. Even so, we’ve ordered a de-shedding tool (you know the one!) in hopes that we don’t have to spend quite so much time.The dog tolerates the brush well, and even enjoys it (as most dogs do) but even with his double coat I do find that I have to be careful how I angle it – the bristles are similar to bent, flattened pins – hard, metal and scratchy, and I try not to drag them directly across his skin. This is not the type of brush to press hard with or give a massage…The brush is well-constructed and sturdy. We used it in the bathtub as well, no problem. It’s pretty easy to get the hair out, just press down at the top of the brush and roll the fur downward.
This brush works really well on long to medium haired cats and the handle has a great design. We have 8 cats that just love to be brushed on a daily basis. They all have long to medium hair and this brush has been perfect at keeping the tangles away and leaves all of them with a shiny coat afterwards. We started brushing them very young, so to them, it is our bonding time, with each cat patiently waiting their turn. They like to lay on a blanket while I am brushing them so they can easily move from side to side and then give me their belly. We recently adopted a litter of 4 kittens and are teaching them the same thing. Compared to the previous brush I was using, they really like this new brush better, as do I!The main reason I purchased this brush is because the handle is ergonomic. I have really noticed the difference while using this brush compared to a non-ergonomic brush. I can brush all of my cats without getting any cramps in my hand and fingers, the perfect solution to arthritic hands and nerve damage. The head of the brush is smaller which makes it perfect when brushing the undercoat, as well as using it on my kittens. Not to mention using it on our long-haired chihuahua too. This brush captures more hair than compared to any other brush that I have used in the past, which means less hair around the house.Very happy with this purchase and our fur babies are happy too! Would recommend this brush to my fellow cat owners who also require a ergonomic brush.

Works well, but comes apart. This is the second brush I ordered because the handle separates from the brush making it tedious and frustrating to use. Guess I’ll try to glue it, so I don’t have this issue. Would be better if they made it one piece. Would give 5 stars except for this.
My cat hates it, I love it. I have a medium haired cat that I used to take with me to work to get groomed when I worked at a vet clinic. I no longer work there and he’s a drama queen about anything, but needs to be brushed or he developes tight little matting. The groomers said this is literally a miracle brush and I agree, brushing mats doesn’t always resolve the issue but this brush is awesome and gentle and awesome. Definitely recommend! I got the small for a 14lb cat.
Perfect slicker. I’m a dog groomer and I have had this brush a few times. It’s so nice. There metal slickers aren’t too rough like other brushes
Best brush on the market. I’m a 30 year veteran groomer- this is the BEST brush on the market! I’ve tried them ALL, lol, and I’ve been using this one for YEARS! Kudos to Miracle Coat, please don’t ever stop making this!😍
Medium size brush. Got this brush for my small 12 lb poodle. It was recommended by my groomer. Brushes her backside pretty well however the head is really too large for her legs and undersides. Her hair is so tightly curled I can’t get down to skin this brush helps a bit. I recommend it for a slightly larger dog.
PERFECT size. This brush is excellent in all way. Perfect size, length of bristles and overall brush length. My cats LOVE it and I was shocked at how much hair it collects! Their fur was instantly more sleek, shiney and healthy looking. I had no idea how difference this type of brush makes. One of my cats lacks grooming abilities so her fur always gets matted on her lower back. This brush took care of that. But specifically this particular brush is excellent in all ways. I’m buying another one for backup to make sure I have this particular size and shape. FANTASTIC BUY.
Best design. I think this style of brush with fine wire bristles is by far the best for remove burrs and stickers from coat. Works great for getting out naps behind my long haired dachshunds ears, always a trouble spot. It’s my favorite brush, tried and true design.
best grooming brush ever. I have a standard poodle. this is the best grooming brush i have ever used! my groomer recommended it and it has worked great!
Inexpensive but works better than my expensive one. Our groomer recommend this brush from our Australian Labradoodle. His thick, wavy hair takes a lot of work in-between monthly grooming appointments. This is the best brush I’ve tried. Wish I hadn’t spent so much money on the expensive slicker brush that everyone said was a “must have”. It was not very useful for us.
It is the perfect brush. I have had many experiences with brushes. And this is the perfect brush for any dog especially with long hair?
