Great shoes. Fit big feet. Comfortable. Don’t feel like clogs/slippers. Edit to add: These do have horrible traction in wet/snow. Use extreme caution on wet floors, and just don’t wear if it’s snowy/icy. I’m removing 1 star for that, because I had to get a different pair of shoes for bad weather. (Telluride Moc, which are better for traction, but not as comfortable.) That said, I’m on my 3rd pair of these, and for regular office work, they’re great.Original:Why did I not buy these sooner?TL;DR: Great shoes. Fit big feet. Comfortable. Don’t feel like clogs/slippers.I am someone who values my time and….. oh hell… I’m lazy. I slip my shoes off by holding down the heel with the other foot, and put them on before leaving for work by sticking my foot back in. As such, I tend to destroy the heels of all my shoes.(I’m a computer tech, so I mostly wear sneakers or “casual” shoes)For years I’d thought about getting these sort of shoes, and for years I’d held off because I have huge feet (15) and usually only new balance fit my foot correctly without a break-in period.I can now say there’s an exception to that rule. I got the 14s of these the first time around, because people said they ran big. Not so. 14 was too small, so I went to 15, and they’re perfect. They also have arch support that at first felt weird, but now feels like something I don’t know how I lived without. They have also felt like a broken-in pair since the first (maybe second) day I wore them.If I have any complaint, it’s that they pick up a TON of sand/salt/ice/snow in the tread and keep dropping it for a good half hour once you get to your destination in winter. At home I take off my shoes at the door, but I notice it at work when my chair is crunching over sand from the parking lot. Most importantly, however, I’ve been wearing these for a couple weeks now, all day, every day, and they still slip on and off with ease, but don’t feel floppy on my feet when I’m walking over weird terrain. If I had any wish, I guess it’d be that they make a pair with mesh in the toe area. They do get a little warm at times, but I don’t see an easy way to do that with the design.Overall…. well, I guess the fact that I’m planning to buy a second pair speaks for itself.

Great for trips. I bought these after researching “best shoe for travel” for a two week trip to England, and they delivered! I wore them going up and down stairs on old ships like HMS Victory, traverse uneven terrain in castle ruins, walk sandy and pebble beaches, hike some rugged English countryside, and explore old cobblestone city centers, you name it, and they held up well in all of them, plus they look good enough for all but the most high end places. We also had a couple of long 14 hour days and my feet did not feel sore when I took these off in the evenings.Water resistance is good. We had some rainy days and my socks stayed dry, even during some heavier rain spells.I don’t usually go for slip ons but these felt snug and comfortable, and the soles can easily handle most terrain and wet/slippery surfaces. There is not enough support to tackle technical trails in these, but for most “vacation activities” these shoes are all you’ll need.If you’re looking for one pair of shoes to take that are reasonably priced, I highly recommend these.
My 3rd pair. As stated, I own 3 pair , in various colors. Don’t let the suede look fool you, they are really tough and stand up well to average stains. Very cleanable when I do manage to get them dirty, just warm wash rag and usually that’s all. I’m working in retail in a big box wearhouse type store and I’m on my feet a lot and wouldn’t be without my jungle mocs. Lots of compliments too. I even use my oldest pair as yard shoes for everything from pushing lawnmowers and weedeaters to cutting trees with a chainsaw and they are hanging tough.
Superior Garden and on the go Shoes. I like Keen shoes. I usually buy them for my “main” utility brown shoe. My old pair got worn out, mostly due to wearing them for my around the house gardening and pool cleaning. So I needed a new pair of brown shoes, that can take me from yard maintenance to Home Depot runs and even walk around for Sunday brunches. Doing my usual research, I came accross these Merrills. True to the reviews and the appearance, these are my new go-to around the house/gardening shoes. Nice snug fit, real leather uppers that can take dirt and getting wet and still look really nice when making runs for groceries or house supplies. I really like the curved bottom sole, which keeps me glued to the ground whether wet or in dirt, and is high enough to sink into the dirt without compromising letting water/moisture getting into the shoes. And look at the pricing! Excellent value for the money – about US $40 at the time of this writting, compared to other shoes – like the Keens – which easily can run twice as much. Highly flexable in use, highly recommended!
For $40 they are are nice. I got these shoes on sale for $40. For that price, I recommend them. They are pretty comfortable, supportive, water/rain resistant and slip on and off pretty easily. They are definitely not non-slip. I know the product doesn’t claim to be non-slip but I’m just saying, we have a slick patch at work that is a good indicator for well working non-slip shoes and these ones do get slick. For your everyday terrain they do just fine. In my opinion they are a little heavy but that doesn’t bother me. It’s worth the quality of the shoe. I would not pay more than $60 for these shoes though just because they are basic. I have pretty good luck with shoe sizes, I can almost always grab 10 in women’s or 8.5 in men’s, such as these and they’ll fit. These fit great with an easy on and off.
Very, very nice. I generally don’t get excited about purchasing shoes, but I had to write about these Merrell Jungle Slip-ons. The Merrell’s are super comfortable, easy to slip on with no hands, and easy to take off. These shoes fit snug and have a surprisingly rigid platform which is great for people like me who suffer from bad arches on their feet. I highly recommend these shoes.
These are the shoes I’ve been looking for. I’ve been looking for a rugged pair of slip on shoes for a while. I live in the woods, so it is impossible to walk around barefoot. Having to lace up every time I needed to take out the trash was annoying, so the slip on is the way to go. These slip-ons fit snug and stay put on your feet, they don’t slide around. And they are waterproof, which is a must, especially in the early morning when there is lots of dew to walk through. They are nice and warm too for colder months. And they are rugged! These things are tough, with a thick sole and leather enclosed top. Almost like a boot, but very comfortable. I will be getting more of these in the future.
Great so far (day 1). I’ve needed slip on for a while and I do like these.Sizing: I ordered same size as my Hokas. The wide is comfortable and I have no sliding around. Sizing seems to run trueFit: generous toe box, and I like the instep. I’ve gotten more aggressive instep slip-ins for other shoes, I don’t think I will need them for these.Comfort: Only have worn them today, but they appear to need no break in period. Comfortable and supportive. It was a hot day, and these did get slightly warm while outside, but I think it’s made for a cooler climate; would purchase again, I figured these wouldn’t be as cool as other shoes.Overall these are confortable, and will buy again.
Great shoe. Great shoe, comfortable. Good price
The best all around footwear. Arrived promptly and well packed. We’ve worn Merrell Jungle Mocs for years. Comfortable and classy footwear for northern climate, with safe treads for winter. Easy to slip on and off. Durable, water resistant. Smooth toe box kind to toes. Taupe is our favorite color – north country elegance!
These high quality shoes stay on secure, yet slip on and off with ease. I hope they never stop making this model because it has everything you need. I like that they are true to size and that they have enough breathability that your foot doesn’t get hot.The heel/bottom of the shoe seems to have a long lasting durability, above other shoe manufacturers products. And the upper black suede, trim and stitching continues to look and function well after lots of use and time. A quick wiping down with a slightly damped cloth and they look almost new again. Although I put in a pair of heavy duty Dr Scholl’s inserts when I first buy them I don’t think everyone would need that because they are comfortable without them, I just like to get that extra comfort. If you’re a tall person or have extra weight I highly recommend you trying these shoes. They are made with quality and if you can get them when they’re on sale they’re also a bargain.
Great shoes. Perfect fit and super comfortable. Support holds up to daily wear for at least two years.
Merrell men’s shoes. Excellent shoe and great value for the money. Extremely comfortable, does not require breaking in. The shoe looks good and is an easy slip on plus fits perfectly. Highly recommended.

Awesome shoes at an awesome price. I bought these shoes because I needed slip on shoes after having shoulder surgery. They are super comfortable and very well constructed. The treads give me great traction, which I needed post surgery. They look great with jeans and are great general purpose shoes. I will get plenty more use out of these besides my post surgery needs. I am very happy with them and would buy them again.

The very best. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! They are actually the only shoes I can find that don’t hurt my feet. Good arch support, great uppers and lowers, slip on and off easily. True to size, fit perfect! Lasts a long time with consistent wear.
Comfort and Durable with Great style. The fit is supportive and does not sag. But this show mold to your foot and weaknesses creating a sturdy fit. I prefer the wide fit. It seems to give a little bit easier and gives room for me to put on some heavier thicker socks if it gets cold, but these shoes actually keep my feet warm. Even when I’m barefoot I didn’t realize that they were waterproof. So I was walking in the snow and of course they felt great. I’ve always wanted a pair of these shoes and now I have two one in each color. Basic black and the other one is a camel color brown. These things wear really really good. Beautiful. And I will make mention on the fact that these things have a great grip on the ground. No slip. Really walking through snow. Plenty of traction walking on the sidewalks, grooved pathways and the like 4×4 shoes.
Classic Merrills are my most reliable and comfortable shoe. Always count on classic merrill slip ons! If you have flat feet these have amazing arch support and the longevity of the shoe in general is absolutely amazing , I have put many years and many many hard miles on my last pair and thought sole is worn down in the back , it had not worn through
