  1. Good Product! Triple Antibiotic Cream Ointment. I bought the Triple Antibiotic Cream Ointment – 25 ct Box Individual Units 0.9g, to supplement my first aid kits! Next to a good band-aid, a Good Antibiotic Cream Ointment goes a long way, and will prevents nasty infections, and other unwanted complications. The packets are just the right size at 0.9g. I already used one so far, and did as advertised!! I would highly recommend this brand, and this company Medi-First Plus! It came very fast in the postal also mail! thank you for a fine product Medi-First Plus!

Perfect for DIY medical/first aid kits. The Triple Antibiotic Cream Ointment – 25 ct Box Individual Units 0.9g is an excellent choice for those who need a triple antibiotic in a slim, lightweight, one-use-per-package size. The most obvious use is for those who wish to assemble their own medical/first-aid kit. Most commercially-available “wilderness” or “camping” medical kits are not only overpriced, but packed full of unnecessary items that simply add weight and bulk for the illusion of being more comprehensive. With these antibiotic packets and some assorted sizes of bandages, you can assemble a nice, simple med kit that is more than sufficient for day hikes or short 2- and 3-day trips within reasonably close proximity to civilization–and at a fraction of the cost as well. Highly recommended.

  3. Product is as advertised. Having a comprehensive first aid/medical kit is great, but it doesn’t do me any good unless I lug it around with me everywhere I go. The problem is that the smaller kits tend to be incomplete and unattractively priced (IMHO).So, I’m assembling a set of custom first aid kits to scatter around my life (in the cars, in the garage/workshop, at the office, at the camp, etc). I am using empty PTFE food-supplement jars to hold the items I deem necessary in an emergency first-aid kit (including this product). The benefits are numerous: these containers are perfectly sized to both contain the kit and to stash almost anywhere, the jars are waterproof, airtight, and durable, AND (because they are custom-built by me) they contain everything I feel I’m likely to need.

Okay for what it is, but think twice. This is an update of my original review from a few years ago, and as I’ve learned more about the class of products involved, my opinion about this particular product has changed as well.First off the positive. If you’re going to be using antibiotic ointments in your first aid kit, this is not a bad way to do it, particularly if you’re likely to have to use that kit on other people. I do first aid at public events on a fairly regular basis, and having these little packs on hand was great at these events. No sharing of tubes, no risk of cross infection, just grab a pack, apply, and toss. The product inside appears to be pretty much the same as the name brand with the standard generic discount. So why don’t I still use this product, or anything like it? Triple antibiotic ointments as a class have a number of issues associated with them which make them poorly suited for casual use by first aiders.1) One of the major ingredients, Neomycin, is a rather common allergen which can cause major contact dermatitis issues in up to 5% of the population. This can result in reddening of skin, swelling, and pain, which the patient will likely interpret as infection, and try to treat by putting more antibiotic ointment on it! This only worsens the situation.2) Clinical trials are inconsistent at showing that this stuff actually has any positive benefit. In fact, at least one such trial shows that if you take plain unmedicated petroleum jelly and put that on your wound, it has the same infection rate as using a triple antibiotic ointment. The conclusion is that if you keep the wound moist and covered, you don’t need antibiotics.3) We are facing an increasing problem with various strains of bacteria becoming resistant to the antibiotics currently in use. This is being made worse by the unnecessary, If well-meaning, use of antibiotics in consumer products. From antibacterial soaps to dish liquids, to first aid ointment, we are breeding more and more superbugs and our ability to create new antibiotics that are capable of knocking them out is having difficulty keeping up.If you absolutely must use a triple antibiotic ointment, this is as good as any other. Use it sparingly and only when necessary. But I would really strongly recommend that people stop using the stuff on a regular basis. It’s not necessary, it’s not beneficial, and it is adding to a problem that we have no easy solution to.

  7. Great to refill first aid kits and just for travel. I bought these to refill my first aid kit and they were small enough to fit a few in my smell first aid box but large enough to get a decent amount of product for a cut. The product works as it should and over all I feel it is a good value for the money.

  10. Car kits. We’re a very outdoorsy family, I have found it necessary to have first aid kits in every vehicle, I absolutely love these single use packs so I don’t have to buy a full size tube for each vehicle, they fit nicely in a small travel size first aid kit

    Bien. Hace su trabajo

  14. Individual use ointment. Bought this for a kids day camp, worked great without the concern for cross contamination. I will buy this again.

  18. Works great. Works great, just the right amount

  19. Product is good but poor packaging. Disappointing. All the product is fine, but the box is smooshed and obliterated. It came in a soft envelope, which was a mistake on their part. Good product, good price, crappy packaging, and shipping.

  20. Super little packs. Use small amounts for medical center patient issues and these are perfect size.
