  1. It really works. I have a youngish (not sure) short haired feral cat. I’ve been feeding him for the last 7 months. This past week he finally started headbutting me and rapidly allowed me to start petting him. It’s tough to see in the first picture just how bad the matting was but it was awful. He was obviously very uncomfortable since he would scratch against the brick wall you can see in the third picture. He’d also roll on the walk and try to scratch his back. Not sure if he also has an itching problem but I don’t see any indications on his skin.I tried using a standard wire brush to get the mats out but had no success. Found this last night and ordered it. Came this morning! (BTW, when Amazon says it will be here between 4am and 7am they are telling the truth, at least at my location and I’m out in the rural area.) I opened the package and took it out to give it a try.I’m not going to tell you it was easy but IT WORKED!! Kramer is much happier and looks like a cat instead of a worn out rug. Use it carefully. It really pulled on his skin but if you start at the ends of the mats and work in it is easier on both of you. I’m not a groomer of any sort. Just a concerned cat lover. The information says long or medium haired cats. If your cat has matting it works. Regardless of the length of the fur. Buy it!

  2. Best brush ever for my dog. I have a Belgian Malinois with a thick undercoat and she always shedding an incredible amount of fur. We’ve tried countless types of brushes and shampoos and nothing made a difference. That was until we got this brush. I’ve been using it for just over a week now and it is still removing a decent amount of undercoat. I could not believe how much fur was removed the first few days. I would have thought the results were fake if it was shown in a TV commercial. Another benefit of this brush is that my dog does not dislike it. This is not the case with most brushes. I am now able to do a good brushing without her wiggling around or simply running off.My dog’s coat now looks more sleek and less fluffy since the undercoat has been significantly removed. I suspect my dog is more comfortable in this 100+ heat we are experiencing at the moment (even though she spends her time in an air conditioned house).

  3. Impressive Hades Approved. With a Full blooded Australian cattle dog named HADES.I’m impressed7 layers of blood line fur in a Heeler, you can imagine the amount that sheds. Especially the Australian dingo down under those layers.Iv used every brand of brush out there from$2 – $100 everyone returned.Took him to a groomer with one of those specialized units out there “guaranteed ” to get all the under air out or a blow out, or your $$ back.Ha, challenge accepted. She called me after 2 hrs to pick Hades up. She was laughing, she never returned the pymt prior to him lolA Heeler is meant to Shed, dirt, sweat, undercoat. For a reason it’s a hard working breed born, breed to Work it’s deep in their blood.Back to the point, the picture doesn’t come close to what came out of Hades after 5 minutes using it. He growled, shook, twisted an tried to alligator roll. The brush won , we aren’t done lolHades Approved product. Thank you 🐾💕🐾

  4. The Best Pet Grooming Tool Ever. Easily the best grooming tool we have ever used in 40 years of pet ownership. Our dogs love it, even though it seems like it is yanking out their fur. Even our lab, who has the attention span of an over-caffeinated gnat, will sit unmoving for as long as it takes. The instructions say that the more corse side feels like a massage to pets, and based on my experience that is exactly correct. The brush is the most effective tool for removing undercoat that I have used. The volume of fur I removed from our two dogs was huge. Easily two plastic shopping bags full. Both dogs looked fantastic after brushing, and now sit looking at me and then the brush as a not-so-subtle hint to brush them again. As with everything our dogs enjoy, once is a habit.I can’t recommend this brush enough. If you have pets, get it!!

  5. Best de-matting brush I’ve ever used highly recommend. This brush is an excellent de-matting brush for long haired friends. It’s gentle if used properly and grabs all the loose fur, matted tufts and any debris that may be hiding in your friend’s coat. It’s a very sturdy, durable brush made out of quality materials that will last a lifetime. Excellent value for the money and leaves our Alaskan Klee Kai’s (mini husky) coat soft, shiny and with a groomed look! Once you learn the technique, a few minutes of brushing will prove huge results. Remember to not pull too hard on stubborn tufts, simply brush those spots in a quick short motion over and over gently. I Love it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a de-matting (heavy undercoat old fur) brush.

  6. Great for cats with undercoat problems. My 4 year old cat has long black fur and she is not that good at grooming herself. On top of that she has issues with her undercoat so she gets mattes more near her tail. I have tried many different kinds of brushes/combs to try to brush out the mattes before they get so bad that I have to shave them off. However my cat hates to be brushed because all of the other brushes I bought it the past would pull on the mattes but not really remove them. I would even try to loosen the mattes up so it would be easier for the brush to get them but to no avail and I would end shaving them off anyway. I had to do some research because obviously the generic brushes that say they “work” on long cats do not work for me. I was surprised when the words ‘cat hair rack” popped up in my search bar so I just got on Amazon and looked up “cat hair rack” and happened upon this brush and bought it because it was cheep. To my surprise it actually works perfectly! The first time I used it looked like my cat had exploded on my back porch there was so much hair! And it was able to remove her mattes with little to no pulling. Don’t get me wrong she still hates being brushed but I can brush her for longer periods of time now before she starts trying to bite me. I have also noticed a dramatic difference it made for her matting issue. I use it once or twice a week and I hardly see or feel them anymore when I brush her. I love it!!

  7. A Tale of 2 Dogs. My girls have very different fur texture. One has short straight fur and the other is long, wavy, double coated. My girl with short straight fur loves this. It gets out all the loose fur even when she doesn’t look like she’s shedding. It’s gentle enough that she’s wagging her tail the whole time and just enjoying the attention. My long haired lovely however hates it. It pulls more than a regular brush and because she has a wavy texture I think it’s pulling hair that’s not ready to come out. Although, it did take out a ton of fur on the few sweeps we were able to get she’s now afraid to be brushed.Basically, it works really really well but may take some training to be accepted by all breeds due to a little extra pulling.

  9. Love the Brush, Gloves are nice too. The brush works best on long haired cats, its amazing and they like it.The gloves worked on both a long-haired and short-haired cat. Though they will be a bit big if you have small hands.

  10. effective. bought this to fluff up sheepskin rug. very effective at pulling out tangles. the blades are sharp! i would be very cautious using this on your dog. it’s easy to grip, easy to clean, feels solid and durable. good value for the money.

  11. GAME CHANGER. I have a very fluffy, very complicated kitty at home who has never been a huge fan of brushing. As a result, now that she’s getting to be more senior, she gets very aggressive dreads/mats that ultimately need to be cut off. I bought this tool on a whim because we’ve tried so many things and I figured “why not?”. Holy moly! Absolute game changer. Not only does she seem to not mind this brush, but she actually stays put for it. On top of that miracle, it is the most effective tool I’ve ever come across to remove excess underfloof. Her fur was PILING up and her coat felt so lovely afterwards! It didn’t take care of the super tough mats, but it did clear a lot of floof away to make cutting those out much easier. I fully recommend this product!

  12. IT ACTUALLY WORKS. I bought this for my long haired cat and also works on my corgi! The picture is after running through my cats fur 2 times!!! She loves it and tries to run her head against it. Great quality, good price, durable, easily remove the hair and keep brushing! Ideal size and easy to use for any pet owner that has a shedder! Would definitely buy again.

  13. Gets hair out. This is a very good product. Very easy to use. The size is very good It does an excellent job of getting my golden labs loose hair off. The hair comes off very easily from the brush. The design works very well

  14. Dog trimming. Great productSo easy to brush your dog and watch the dog hair come off. When done the dogs fur is so shiny

  15. Great hair brush. Works like a charm. It looks so cute too, and the size is good because it helps groom the dog easier. Its pretty easy to clean. Definitely helps with matting.

  16. Easy to use! Works great. Love love love this! My dog sheds year round heavily and this allows us to get through ten top coat and the under coat! She loves it too. We take it out and she plops right down in front of you for her brushing. So easy to use – brush a section with large tooth side and flip to small tooth side. Fair pulls right off the brush for easy clean up. Plus if you use the small comb side you can use as a rake for the fur on your furniture and rugs, just comb gently! (At least we have). I even use that side to gently get the fur off me when I’m all done brushing.

  17. Best dog brush for descending. I have a shepherd with a double coat and this brush truly gets so much shedded fur out! The best dog bush I have found on the marcher for sure!! The quality is great and has a nice grip. It’s easy to clean too.

  18. Worth the buy. My dog is currently losing his winter coat and this helped brush out an intense amount of hair. Its painless and he loves being brushed!! Worked on my cat too!

  19. Highly effective. Works great on my 4 long haired cats; even the one who dislikes being brushed apparently appreciates it. Cuts through clumping tight mats like butter and really makes life more comfortable for the cats. Would highly recommend this. I was somewhat skeptical at first but it does a really great job removing excess fur. Your cats will love you.

  20. Works well to remove mats and undercoat. I bought this because my long haired cat had some serious matting going on. I was making some progress with a regular grooming brush but need something that would cut through the mats. This brush has worked really well at getting his mats removed and also removing his undercoat, which seems to be the issue causing the matting.

  21. Any more star to give. If I can provide a 10-star, I’ll gladly do so. Why? I used this after both my old, highly rated furminator and single row undercoat rake in combo after 10 minutes per raking device. What I manage to get extra out of the undercoat with this is outstanding. The furminator pulled on the top and undercoat at the same time, which is bad. The bad thing is that the sharp teeth cause discomfort for our furballs. We switch over to the single row rake with smooth end pins for more comfort, but the amount of undercoat removal is minimal after the furminator. We tossed both into the crap bin and use this rake as the last resort to prevent our vacuum robot from choking on the tumble-furs.Surely enough, what we got is another dog worth of undercoat, nearly twice as much as the undercoat volume from both the furminator and the rake, within 10 minutes compared to the 20 minutes on the other two rakes. The great thing is, our dogs love the smoothness of the blades’ curved ends to the furminator sharp teeth or the single row of smooth pin ends. We are surprised to see that the dogs willingly want more of the groom from this rake over the two rakes. Finally, the robot doesn’t have to suffer from the massive shedding from all our dogs and we don’t have to rangle the dogs down to deal with the undercoats. The photo is just from one dog worth after two devices have already gone through after 20 minutes. The lunch box cooler is merely used to compare the volume of the undercoat that can be removed right after the other two. Unfortunately, I was not quick enough in getting the photos before the prior batches were cleaned up. The volume of the top and undercoats was much less than this one.

  22. Unbelievably useful brushes. These are absolutely unbelievable! I’ve seen hair come off of long haired dogs on videos of professional groomers. This brush with the handle is absolutely wonderful and does the same exact thing that I had seen in videos, at my house. I have four dogs and eight cats, we live on a farm. One of my dogs has very long hair because he is border collie and rough coated collie. The amount of hair that this dog loses every year is unbelievable! I swear I could make a mattress for my bed with the amount of hair that he loses. I also have a cattle dog. And for those of you who do not know, they have an unbelievable undercoat with extremely thick hair. I use the brush with the handle for these dogs. I also have two dogs with shorter coats. One is a border beagle and the other is a German Shepherd mix. These two dogs still have undercoats and the triangular brush works unbelievably well on these two. And I was shocked when my cats liked the triangular brush also. These have been a lifesaver because I can’t handle the hair everywhere anymore, although the cats are outside/barn cats/mouse catchers.Don’t get me started about how many vacuum cleaners I go through.Thank you for carrying such useful products.

  23. Great Product. I used this on my medium long hair cat. The rake works great! It also removed an unbelievable amount of the undercoat hair. I could not believe how much hair it took out. Now there is hardly any hair floating around my wooden floors! My cat had a couple of matted areas. The rake did not remove them. However, it loosened them enough for me to cut them out. It did pull on the knots which my cat was not happy about. He is a bit of a biter when he is mad. So this made brushing him a bit of a challenge. I had to hold the knot so it did not pull then brush it out. I learned quick to use the gloves to protect my hands and to soothe him while brushing him. He does love the gloves!!The gloves are on the smaller side. Luckily my hands are small and they fit me perfectly. If your hands are bigger, they may not fit. While lying flat, they measure 4 1/2”wide across the knuckle area and 7” from wrist the tip of middle finger. Wrist opening around is 6 1/4” wait Velcro closure so, it can go a bit wider if needed. I don’t know if bigger sizes are an option.Over all, my cat’s fur is shinier, softer and is shedding so much less! I highly recommend! Also, the seller was great in getting this to me as promised!!

  24. Works great on Cats! Highly recommend. If I could give 100 stars, I would! I use this on my long hair Calico kitty. I have to say, I feel bad for not finding this sooner! I always used a regular cat brush on her, with minimal fur actually coming off. I always just assumed she didn’t shed much. Boy was I wrong! With just one swipe down her back with this comb, I pulled off more fur than I ever have with a regular cat brush. Within just a few minutes of brushing her with this, I could make a sweater. I’m not exaggerating! I feel so bad that she was walking around with that much fur in her undercoat and I had no idea. If you have a long-haired cat or dog, this is definitely the de-shedder you want for them!

  25. Right price right product get yours today. I give a four star- only because no one is perfect. But I’m so grateful for this product and its ability to remove tangles and undercoat loose hairs. The only modification I would do is make an extension handle for it for older people that have a hard time bending over to groom their dogs. Very well built the size is appropriate and sit in. The handle is also appropriate. Durability seems pretty tough has no smell and ease of cleaning is very easy to clean. Actually, the hair just falls off of it for the most part.
