Pretty sturdy. We picked this up for our little Maltese, Oscar. Oscar is just under 12 lbs., and he fits in this little box just fine. Not too big for him, not too small either. Very easy to put together and install in the car, and it fastens very solidly, very little movement when secured.I’ve just one complaint, it would be nice if the was some padding around the top rim. Simple thin fabric over the metal frame doesn’t provide much footing for his front feet. Oscar likes to stand up and look out the window while in the car, and that thin metal frame just doesn’t provide a good foothold. Oscar manages it ok, but if he should slip, he could come down on that frame and I’m sure that wouldn’t feel very good on his chest or neck.The built-in harness connection works great, keeps Oscar from jumping out of the carrier and sitting in my lap (and that’s exactly what he wants to do) So, even if Oscar isn’t particularly thrilled being confined to a carrier, I’m very happy not having to reach under, around and over a dog to steer my vehicle. Safety first, right?I’d certainly recommend this carrier. It does what it’s advertised to do, just wish there was a little bit of padding around the top of the frame.
Easy to use dog car seat. I made a car seat for my 8 lb dog 10 years ago. She loves to ride in a seat that gets her up higher, so when the seat started to fall apart I started searching for a new one. I came across this seat and decided to give it a try.The striped fabric looks nice and feels sturdy. The fact there are pockets on each side, and one on the front that a piece slides into that helps with sturdiness, is nice for storage. The straps fit easily over the car seat and are adjustable.The fury liner is very thin, so I am not sure how well it will hold up. My dog also likes to put her head over the edge, but the seat was too deep for her to do that. I put a pad I had for a create in the bottom of the seat (brown furry piece in the attached pictures) and it raised her up high enough that she can once more look over the edge.The car seat is now able to do what I need. Next is to see how long it holds up.
PERFECT DOGGIE CAR SEAT. My 17 lb Shih Tzu loves his car seat, he can see out the windows, hang his head out too, but cozying up and taking a nap is the best. This is my 3rd one over the years. None of them ever broke, just used a lot and got stinky. The last one lasted 2 years and I have been happy with all of them. The best part is the strap that goes over the car seat head rest and attaches to the side of the car seat is far enough back that it’s easy for him to jump in. Also the strap around the back of the seat keeps the car seat in place. I do recommend that when using it that you have it attached to your dog with him wearing a harness. I learned the hard way. I had him attached with his collar and had to come to a sudden stop, his body flew out of the seat hanging him by his neck. SO PLEASE PUT A HARNESS ON YOUR DOG WHEN USING THE CAR SEAT….other wise you’re gonna love it!!!!!
Such a great car seat for small dogs. Much like other dogs my boy is absolutely terrible at riding in cars, but not any more with the addition of this little basket! Instead of flipping around and flailing throughout the car like an absolute dingus, Rosco can finally stay comfortable and safe in his little car seat. I love that he’s able to be hooked in for extra security, and he’s gotten used to riding in the basket very quickly! I highly recommend!!
It is very sturdy. There are no dislikes except the belt that goes around the seat but I fixed it. This seat is fantastic. I read a lot of reviews about car seats for dogs before I settled on this one. This is great. My dog is a 15-17 pound Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix and she likes to start out by standing on her hind legs and puts her front legs on the frame. There is no give to the frame. It holds her up. The bed part of it is roomy and she has lots of room to move around. When she lays down she likes to see me and the bed is pretty deep so I put a foam cushion in it and it still gives her plenty of room to lay down and now she can see me. I also like the fact that there is a pocket in the back that you can put the seatbelt to the car thru for added protection. It has a strap to fasten her into the bed which is very good and it is strong. I will be buying another one if this wears out.
Our little dog loves this. So we have a small dog who is 7 and two puppies that get bigger by the day. Since he is grumpy he likes to get in his seat in the car and watch the others fight over space on the back seat. it’s nice that the others can stretch out under it. I have a truck so I can’t install this completely because my back seat doesn’t tilt forward but I used it in a different car before and it was installed properly and he loved it then too.

Came with a little pop up bowl and a poop bag holder to hook onto your leash. Deducted a star because it does lack a little padding on the cushion to make it comfy but will add a small blanket on the bottom to add some comfort.”
Great car booster seat for my cat but challenging to install in sedan back seats. I got this booster seat for my cat since it will enable him to actually see out of the car. It seemed secure, sturdy, and comfortable, and most importantly it said it was OK to install in the back seat. So all these things are true, and I am very glad that I got this booster seat, even if my cat still hates car time and will meow for the entire drive.What has inspired me to write this review, however, is how challenging installing this seat in the BACK is for SEDANS. The good news is that because of this, I learned that it actually is possible to lower my back seats and how to do so. The bad part is, I had to clear out my entire trunk (which is usually very full bc I have a lot of anxiety and like to carry my entire home with me) and then lower the correct seat side so I could snap the appropriate strap behind it. It was a physically challenging process and I may have sustained a slight injury in doing so.I thought it was just me and my ignorance (of my car and cars in general) that made it so difficult. But I recommended this car seat to my friend for her dog, and she and her husband recently bought and installed it. In his sedan. And they too had problems putting the entire thing together and installing it properly. And they are really smart so this is not a matter of intelligence. Now this does not take away from how great the booster seat is and how much their dog already enjoys it (although they do need to put an extra cushion at the bottom because she’s so small). But I do feel like this is something that sedan owners should be aware of and prepared for.So this product gets 5 stars all around EXCEPT for “easy to install” where it gets 3 stars instead (bc I know not everyone is installing this in their sedan back seat).
Helped with my puppies car sickness. My poor puppy was constantly getting sick in the car and we weren’t sure what was causing it (eating before driving, moving around in the crate, rocky roads?), we tried everything. I’m not sure how I came across this product but it mentioned how it helps with car sickness so I thought it was worth a shot. I’m so glad I purchased this item, what a difference it has made for my dog. No more throwing up! We were able to drive across country without any incidents. The size is perfect for my little 11lb puppy to relax or sit up and look out the window. There’s a hook that helps attach his harness into his seat for extra safety and pockets so you can put all your dogs snacks or extra stuff. The only downside is the backseats of my car fold down and the straps on the car seat are only long enough for it to be placed on one side. It’s not a problem now but I’m not sure what I’ll do if we get another dog. Overall, I love the price, love the look, love how easy it is to install, but especially love how much happier my dog is now!

There’s more than enough room for them. I could easily put a third dog inside. The seatbelts are fantastic as I can adjust them to the length I want. Great seat. Raven is 4# and this is just the right size. Sturdy and quick installation. Nifty removable and washable liner. I put a fleece blanket and toys in there and she has room to lay down and because it’s height adjustable she can finally see out the window!

Two years strong. Love this dog car seat. Two years and weekly use to keep my 14lb poodle safe and comfortable in the car. Easy to install, adjustable straps & removable/washable insert. In 9 years, this has lasted the longest with the most use, out of three seats. A+

UPDATE:I have been so very pleased with this car seat for Bella ~ it has been such a relief that she is secure and I like the small attachment to hook to her coat that keeps her in the seat….. just happy I finally got her one where she is high enough off the seat where she can see out and not be bored on the drive, because she can see everything I see ~ and all the attachments you need are provided to keep the seat secure ~ you won’t go wrong in getting this!The instructions were very easy to follow and I am so glad she has a seat where she can see outside when traveling and no longer in my arms as I knew it was only a mater of time I would be stopped because of the danger she imposed to me being able to handle any problems while on the road…. I put a blanket it it as well since it is in the 20 Degree Temperature outside just for added comfort to her… I’ll add a picture soon of her in it…. but stays very secure with all the straps to hold it in place… She weighs 5 lbs 5 ozs, so a little one!

Good size, plenty of straps, sturdy. Dog likes it. The higher sides make her feel secure. She sat comfortably for an hr ride without trying to crawl over to me like she usually does.
Worth the money. I bought this for my cat. She’s 12 pounds. She fit in it nicely. Plenty of room for her and she loved being able to see out the windows! It was easy to assemble and install. It’s sturdy. I highly recommend it. I tried to upload a picture of Patches sitting in it but it wouldn’t work.Hope your baby enjoys it as much as mine!
