very good suction and great for large and small dogs. I have a 65 lb American bully and a 4mo. old French bulldog puppy and they both obviously loved using these lick mats. Its great enrichment for dogs and these REALLY suction to whatever surface (my sink and hardwood floor) with out even trying. Its like an octopus on the bottom lol. I used regular peanut butter and plain nonfat Greek yogurt for my pups and they both lasted about an hour of licking. There was still a little residue around the edges of some of the raised bits and they would of kept licking but i figured an hour was a good amount of time. They only issue i found was cleaning them took a few mins a piece to really make sure every crevice was cleaned from the peanut butter cause its so oily and thick. Otherwise the yogurt came right off. I would highly recommend these.
Very durable , super suction. Great for my dogs. Keeps them busy for a while! Suction works really well!!! If you have a flat counter make sure you put something under it or it will be difficult to pick up. Little difficult to clean all the nooks (especially of food dries) so be sure to rinse as soon as they are done! Have thrown in the dishwasher and they have held up!
good idea, maybe. I”‘m a little on the fence about this product but I think that some dogs like it more than others.I bought this for my dog to keep him occupied while I leave the house and to take his mind off my absence but it’s not really doing much once he is done with it. I see him on the camera still crying and fussing, so I’m not sure this is a solution to that, but he does like to lick the food off it and it keeps him busy for a few moments.
Dogs love it, must load it carefully in dishwasher. The dogs love their lick mats. Keeps them busy for 30 minutes or so when frozen. I like that there are different patterns for different levels of difficulty/consistency/volume control. The suction cups on the underside are gold so we can use against the wall for baths and no skidding across the floor. Only difficulty is getting the mats placed just right in the dishwasher for cleaning. The dishwasher directions say to alternate with a plate but the mats are so flexible it can collapse onto the plate and be obstructed from the wash cycle.
Great suction. These are wonderful! The suction is very good and it doesn’t budge. I use it by placing it on the shower wall while I bathe my puppy and also use it on the floor as I brush him! It’s so handy especially when you’re socializing your young dog to enjoy certain things like nail trimmings, baths, brushing, etc. it also comes with a spatula that’s also made of silicone and all the products are very easy to clean.
Suction cups stop working after few uses. 2024 UPDATE: Updating to 5 stars because my dog and I love these things. I think it seemed like the suction was gone at first because if you freeze the pad and it freezes in a weird shape the suction isn’t great. But freeze it completely flat and no problem. You don’t even have to freeze the treats on the pad, it just makes for a longer licky-session for the dog. I love that this comes with two pads, each has 4 different textures, comes with a spatula/scraper, and is so easy to clean. I usually hand wash but have put them in the dishwasher. My dog gets very excited when he hears “licky-pad time”! I usually put a couple treat types on at once and freeze. After trial and error, we’ve landed at our favorites being beef or turkey baby food and spray cheese (I tried the Kong cheese at first but it’s expensive, and figured he’s getting so little of the cheese it doesn’t matter if it’s the cheap grocery store kind). Canned pumpkin also worked but he wasn’t as gung-ho for it. Just rinse it off when done to get the “chunks” out, then run over the pad with some dish soap and dish brush. 2 minutes max. Let the dog lick the scraper clean before washing it. If I don’t feel like washing it I rinse and put in the dishwasher, and use the second pad. The suction stays strong. It really sucks to my sink bottom when I’m washing it!2023: Really liked the product at first. Dog likes it, easy to use and clean. But after just a few uses and hand washing the suction cups didn’t work any more so now when he tries to lick the mat it slides all over the floor.
Busy Dogs. This product keeps my dogs BUSY for 30 minutes. They are able to lick whatever treat I have on it and it gives them some stimulation. My dogs are high maintence and I feel like after they use this they settle down for a bit. There is suction cups on the bottom but I do not think they work very well when sticking them to wood flooring. Also cleaning them can be kind of a pain, the peanut butter gets stuck in the little spaces but if you scrub at it, they do come clean.
Holds up well with daily use and washing. I’ve used the large pink/yellow set daily for a few months now and they’re fantastic. I stick them in the dishwasher nightly and they’re still as good as new: no fading, no tearing, no staining. The suction cups have a good hold and my dog really enjoys the varying textures. It takes my 25 lb Beagle about 20-30 minutes to finish one off and she’s always ready for a nap afterwards haha. Definitely recommend, especially for the price.
Keeps them busy. My dogs LOVE these. They seem to find them spellbinding.. They are strong and dish-washable . I’ll be using these lick mats when I need my Poodle and Bulldog to stay quiet and out of my way . I recommend this particular brand.

My dogs always did great with lick mats so I assumed my cats would too. It’s a great mind game for them at the end of the night and fits a squeezable size treat perfectly, with plenty of room for other goodies. The suction cups are great at preventing slipping and even cling to the wall when we give them their baths. They are lightweight, easy to clean, and while challenging, they are easy to eat out of!
