My puppy learned to ring the bell to ask to go outside. Potty training is the most tedious task when getting a new puppy. I don’t think there’s really any shortcuts, but once my puppy got the hang of it and started asking to go out she began ringing the bells to ask me to open the door to go outside. It’s much easier to hear than the soft scratches of her paw. Even my older dog is ringing the bells to go outside now. I just hung the bells on the doorknob of the backdoor and she picked up the idea on her own.
Worked to train my puppy. Our puppy was not doing well with training! If you can get yours to be with other dogs they learn from them too. We took out the puppy pads one day and put this on the door. We hit it every time she wanted to go out , then told her to ring it! She learned it quickly. Plus rewards for going out. Now she hits it with her nose, to go out. You could make one with anything like even Christmas decorations, but this one worked and was cheap.
Great tool. Works great. Our front door is hard to see from the rest of the house due to the long entryway. The puppy would go to the door but nobody could see him and he was peeing at the door. After I showed him this he was excited about it. I was worried he would rung it for fun or just to go chase crickets outside. He only rings it to go potty. It’s awesome.
5 stars. It works great for training you puppy! We had one 11 years ago to train our oldest dog and bought one for our puppy. The old dog even uses it to tell us she has to go out🤣
Good quality and sound. Our dog loves this bell and it’s only been 24 hours. She uses it to let us know when she wants to go out, and the adjustable length of the product is excellent. She is a Weiner dog so having something short is great for her. You can hear the bells from another room as well so we are all satisfied.
