Junk. This is not a good mouse. You receive:Middle Mouse Button (MMB)- with click-feature (a very helpful feature for a gaming mouse).Left and right Mouse Buttonleft-side Back and left-side Forward keys.Scroll up. Scroll down.- so far so good.- that’s 7 keys. the bare minimum for a mouse these days.- unfortunately, after this that things get stupid…Cons:_____1. If you were looking more keys than this? Well, forget about it.1A. You get two more keys on the Left Mouse button which APPEAR to be functional to say… gaming.- You know? Extra buttons… for high end competitive gaming and pvp-matches?- Well… that’s not what these do.- Instead they are to make the mouse-sensitivity go up or down. That’s it.- You get three buttons that have fantastic placement, and wonderful ergonomic ease of reach, only to…… be wasted on completely useless functions. If I could give this a negative review I would.2. I’ve never seen such profound idiocy in design.- You go to buy a gaming mouse because you want extra keys.2A. Indeed, there are extra keys, but do you get to choose what they are for?- Absolutely not.- Every single extra key you wouldn’t already have from a 12 dollar office mouse is dedicated to: “make mouse go faster” or “make mouse go slower”. *face keyboard*- conclusion: this is garbage.3. Oh, as a cherry on top this mouse has real issues with double-clicking something.I have been playing a game all week which dictates movement to units you are controlling via a double-clicking action. This mouse wouldn’t be aware a double-click has occurred to save a life. I’ve basically given up on this feature in gaming because this mouse can’t be RELIED UPON to achieve it.- single clicks… perfectly fine- double clicks? … don’t hold your breath4. It’s slow.Even with Mouse-Sensitivity turned all the way up on my PC, a mouse-pad slipped to its fastest surface, and the mouse’s “speed me up buttons” set to their highest settings it really isn’t that fast. Which… really just belabors had badly this mouse does NOT need keys dedicated to sensitivity. It needs software dedicated to functionality. Something, sadly, it does not have.Pros:______Ergonomically it is a fantastic design.- Very comfortable hand placement.- Those extra keys are in just the right place … IF they were KEYS that YOU could choose the function of…- It’s a little light, but I enjoy a light weight mouse.Considerations:This isn’t a gaming mouse. It’s a niche-feature mouse for someone very OCD about their sniper-controls in an FPS. I wouldn’t call this made for “gaming”. It is something that happens when someone gives a useful thing to their friend to be tinkered with for a hyper specific purpose. In that hyper specific purpose I could see some of these features having quite a lot of utility. However, the hyper focus of the mouse to this sort of content is so extreme it actually damages the functionality of the mouse more globally.- this is me trying to think of something kind to say about it. the mouse, as it is physically designed, is quite good. however, all of that is junked by it’s functionality – which is quite bad.

  2. A decent entry for FPSes and MOBA gaming. This mouse is a great way to get into gaming for first person shooters to MOBA genres of PC gaming. While this can be comfortable to use over time, it may take some time to get adjusted to if you’re not used to gaming on heavier mice. There are other options available but for the price point and if you don’t need as many buttons with additional weight of the G502, this model should do the trick

  3. Good mouse! Please ignore the review titled “Junk”, that person overlooked something important. This mouse is very nice! I got it at the suggestion of a friend and it has served me very well through 3d modeling, video editing, digital art, & gaming. I have hypermobility issues and small hands so a mouse with extra buttons is a must, as well as a nice gentle ergonomic shape that I can comfortably hold onto. It’s also very light and moves smoothly. I love the little ridge on the left side for my thumb to rest on.I saw that the top review here is one complaining about a lot of things, but I wanted to leave a review to point out that the person is wrong! I wish I could message them to let them know, that you absolutely CAN customize the buttons and all sorts of stuff, you just have to go to Logitech’s site and download the (free!) software for doing so…. it doesn’t come built-in.The software is called “Logitech G-Hub” and has many useful features, which I’ve screenshotted here. You can customize the light, mouse sensitivity levels, and all of the buttons. It also has the ability to make different profiles for different games or other software, and it can auto-detect them upon opening and swap to the correct profile automatically. You can set different keybinds for every game or program you use. It also recognizes a lot of popular games on its own, such as League of Legends, and enables you to set game-specific commands inside of the G-Hub without having to check keybinds back and forth within the game. You can individually set macros onto each button too, like mapping “Ctrl + Z” or another string of keypresses to a single button and etc. It has multiple settings for macros too, such as making them repeat, toggle, or sequence in a specific way. It really is such a nifty mouse with an amazing level of customization to boot, I’d hate to see anyone missing out on this great mouse just because of one misinformed review!

  4. BUY THE G502 — Basically the same layout, but 502 way better. I got this for a friend who didnt want the 502 because its more angular. This one is a super stripped down version. Yes it is fully programmable using logitech g-hub. Yes it is comfortable.Pros:(1) Nice feel. Fits the hand like a glove (if you have large hands/long fingers).(2) Programmable and has on-board memory(3) Gamer mouse aestheticCons:(1) Feels way too light.(2) Outdated tech(3) No side scroll function on the scroll wheel(4) Light always stays blue (you can change the shade/brightness)(5) Not good if you have small hands — quite large and buttons almost outta reach(6) More expensive than 502, but less featuresSummary:Buy the 502. Its cheaper and works better.

  5. Mine was not broken. I bought another for the future. Even though my mouse was not broken I went ahead and bought a second one of these mice for the future. I have come to like it. It doesn’t have a massive amount of buttons like some gaming mice. It has just the number of buttons I want and it works well. I’ve never had problems with logitech mice. They may not be the big name high dollar mice but I do a lot of work on computers so the wear and tear means I expect to replace mice every so often. I’d rather find something comfortable, affordable, and that meets my needs than spend a lot on something that exceeds my needs and will be costly to replace. This mice fits into my requirements quite well.
