Horrid. I’m going to start off with the two redeeming qualities of this headset before I get to the many reasons I will be returning it. The sound quality despite it not having surround sound capabilities is very nice and it is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time (10+hrs). Now, the microphone is extremely quiet and even with software to add gain and the device volume on my PC turned all the way up people still have trouble hearing me and sometimes the bug that makes you louder after you mute and unmute is enough for me to be able to communicate and sometimes it isn’t. The boom microphone’s position doesn’t stay in one place when set and requires constantly being moved so it doesn’t sit on your face or at least directly under your nose. You’d think that having an app on your phone for fine tuning wouldn’t be bad but not having the option for PC also just adds extra problems when the headset just decides to disconnect from your phone (which no other blue-tooth device that I own does) OR your microphone just randomly mutes itself with no reliable way to unmute it. Muting itself is rare but still unacceptable and not only does it mute but also randomly stops making sound while still being turned on and sending a microphone signal AND if you think turning it on and back off again will solve it as it does with a lot of things SOMETIMES IT WON’T TURN OFF OR BACK ON and sometimes when you unplug the USB and plug it back in the microphone still won’t work and I don’t mean not work for specific programs I mean in windows devices where it only shows up because it is connected there will be no sound level for the microphone and I’ve yelled directly into it just to be sure it wasn’t just so low it wasn’t picking it up. Those are the reasons I am returning this headset but they aren’t even the only problems, just the ones that make it unusable and unreliable on a constant basis and when reaching out to Amazon I was told to contact Astro and Astro has not sent a single email about it other than the automated email confirming that the support ticket had been made and I have waited twice the amount of time that they claim to respond in and there has been no mention of higher than usual requests to let anyone know that their response time may take longer. The other problems are that it isn’t surround sound which I’d expect from a headset this expensive, while using the microphone on my phone it won’t be usable on my PC, a bug that decreases the headsets volume a large amount when changing the volume on my phone up or down but increases the volume by the same large amount when changing the volume directly on the headset so you need to play with changing them both for your desired volume which is really annoying to do when answering calls, and the loud sounds it makes when it turns on, off, connects, or disconnects from anything that you can’t control the volume of but when the battery levels are low (rare as that may be) the sound indicating that isn’t as loud, and the range for both blue-tooth and USB connection could stand to be a bit longer but that is probably the least of complaints to have with the plethora of problems above.
Great Headphones for the Price. Okay, I do a lot of research before I buy something. Especially when it goes over the $100 mark. I was really picky too because I wanted a good quality headset to play alongside my PS5. I really think with this one I got the best all around bang for the buck. Sound is good and I love the way it responds to noise direction as I turn around in the game. So cool. It could have used a few more decibels of volume but it really is not as quiet as some of the other reviewers make it out to be. It has an initial click up in volume but I have found you can push it past that and get a little more out of it. Which is perfect for me.Also, I treat all my gear very gently and I will say this thing does not feel like it would survive and angry chuck across the room gaming rant/rage. But just don’t do that…haha. No need to get that mad over a game anyway. It’s god quality don’t get me wrong but it’s not probably as hardy as some of the others in the lineup. That said it is perfectly fine.Comfort-Oh boy are they comfortable. I wear glasses and I feel zero tension between the cups and the frame of the glasses on my head. I have had some good 4 hour sessions with absolutely no problems. With the material sweating is not a huge issue either. After long gaming sessions I take them off and feel the slightest amount of sweat around where the cups were resting which is going to happen with any headset you buy. This one just managed the sweat perfectly. No stick, no issue. All said, I would highly recommend these for those who do not want to spend $300 plus on the next step up.
Potential, but I would give it a 3.5. This device was made for the streamer in the room, however, I don’t think this is made for long-term use or people of all sizes. I am 6’1 with a biggish head and these just barely make it on my head without being uncomfortable anything shorter than fully expanded is slightly irritating. The second major issue, it’s earcuffs are not really comfortable long term and get dirty easily (especially in the summer), and will be nearly impossible to clean (If i find a solution, I will put it here). A vented-cloth ear cuff option is a must for this product and future iterations; I will admit it’s cool but it won’t last. If they want this to earn its 5th star, if it could connect to a second PC with a second receiver, and if you can via the headset pick an isolation mode (where it only listens to one Master device). I’ve found the multi-connection to my phone to be invaluable where in the part i would have to hack a sub-par experience by hand. however, I will say this can go even further and can have a bit of a kill switch to the feature. Sometimes when I’m playing games i don’t want my phone phone ringer in my ear to be interrupted by a scam callers. I will admit this is a harder one to figure out, but that is why it’s a 4-star device if the other issues are fixed.
By far the best headphones I’ve owned. I’ve owned a10s and a20, along with turtle Beach, steel, and multiple other headphones for gaming. These take it to another level. When streaming I can connect the a30s to my ps5 to hear game audio and party chat. But also can connect to my phone to hear my favorite Spotify playlists at the same time. I can jam out while gaming/streaming. Can also take phone calls in the middle of gaming with out my party hearing my conversation. 20/10 recommend these to everyone that asks me what gaming headphones I recommend
There needs to be a better directive to sync headphones to consoles. So… if you want to sync to Series X and Ps5 follow these steps:1. Plug appropriate dongle in respective console. (Flashing light: green is for series x and blue is ps5. White is pc)2. Turn on headphones and bluetooth button on headset.3. (This is what they DONT TELL YOU) Press and hold the dongle until it flashes purple (5-6 seconds) when the dongle flashes purple – press and hold the power button and blutooth button on headset for 5-6 seconds as well until the LED flashes purple and syncing is complete.I had to deep dive google for this step. Not fun. Now enjoy.
Have to unplug receiver before each use. They work great other than every time I use them I have to unplug and plug in the receiver to my Xbox series X which is annoying
Best Astros I’ve owned so far. I’ve owned A10s and A40s for years but never had made the jump to wireless until now. The great thing about this headset is that I’ve had no connection issues, quality of both the build and the sound is phenomenal (even with the little tuning that is available), and the ability to jump between my phone laptop and ps5 without a click of a button is the real icing on the cake. I am a huge Star Wars fan and luckily had my A10s of nearly 6 years die out on me to warrant this purchase!Pros:Great battery life (1 charge for 7-10 days of usage)Great audio qualityExcellent Design and fun details throughout the headsetCompact case allows for a small footprint when travellingCons:Price is a little high for comparable headsets (the Star Wars name isn’t cheap)The audio cable for wired playability has no controls other than mute, which most controllers/phones/laptops already have.
Okay for the price you pay. I wanted to really love these headphones & I think they are good for the price you pay. I wanted white headphones for my white setup look that I have going on. They work okay for the most part. The issues I have with mine are -The sound will cut out randomly for no apparent reason. I will be in the middle of a game or playing a video & the audio cuts out for some reason. It’s easily fixed by just turning them back on but it dosent make much sense as to why they cut out especially when they are fully charged. It does not happen every time I use them but often enough. The Bluetooth range is not far at all. It is about 15/20 feet from my laptop to the kitchen. I live in a small apartment & the sound does not carry from far away at all. I wish the range was more like the AirPod quality but again, you get what you pay for.Other than those two things I really enjoy these headphones. The sound quality is great & sound proof is pretty awesome. Also the microphone works really great for me as well, I have had no issues with it so far & my partner was able to understand what I was saying perfectly. I love that you can detach it as well so I don’t have it in my way if I don’t want it there. The color is perfect & it’s comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

LOOK FOR ANOTHER HEADSET, RUNNNNNNN. Please research further if you’re convinced into buying Astro A30s.I’ve used Astro A40s and all my mice are Logitech so I thought it was the best of both worlds, however it is not the case.I’ve been wanting to write a review on how terrible they have been for me and I realized I got them on Amazon so here’s the review now… I’ve had them since July 2023 and here’s my less than a year experience pros and cons list.PROs:- Aesthetic, looks 10/10. As a StarWars fan, the Mandalorian colors and design are amazing- Never had a problem with the audio quality, everything sounds great. No problems with Bluetooth.CONs:- If you’re a PC gamer, the app settings is ONLY on mobile. Does not link with desktop Logitech G Hub???- Since it’s linked to your phone, audio also comes from your phone. This was a double edged sword for me because it’s nice to watch videos with your headset on and able to hear the audio without having to take one side off. HOWEVER, it’s super annoying when you get phone calls because it’ll cut your game audio off and ring. AND THEN, after you decline the call, you have to manually reset the volume settings so you can resume gaming.- The sound effects on the headset are still a mystery to me. It’ll play 3-5 different noises and I have no idea what they mean. It sounds like it switching settings, but again I’m totally oblivious to what they mean. And randomly the headset will power off for no reason when it’s not close to dying.- Another note too about the power is that sometimes when I try to power them off, it won’t turn off? So I have to plug out the USB.- The ear cushions are not as comfortable as the Astro A40s, but are bearable enough for a long gaming session.- Never used the microphone, but it comes with a detachable one. Obviously, if you don’t have it attached it won’t sound as good, but I’m sure the mic sounds fine.- Battery life isn’t great, but isn’t bad. I don’t like over charging any of my devices, so I just try to remember to charge if it’s been a while.Overall, not worth the $200+ for aesthetic. If you look under the Astro Reddit, everyone complains about them so please research further. Find a Logitech headset that connects with G Hub. Buy the Astro A50s if you’re looking for a wireless headset.

Super convenient, high quality. My only two gripes are:1. The sleep mode is super buggy. Would prefer it to just turn off the device. When it goes back on it plays no sound, so I have to basically turn it off and on again.2. The mic quality is not that good. The internal one is better, but if you really need to use the boom mic, it’s somewhat bad. The noise suppression is good, but you need to put it really far away from your mouth or the audio will be really hideous. Don’t like how my voice sounds on this. That being said, audio quality and volume are awesome. The ability to use BT and 2.4Ghz connections at the same time so I can simultaneously hear audio from my phone and laptop is excellent and the main reason I think that someone would buy this.I think the Mandalorian edition is way prettier than the blue and white stock ones. Those look cheaper to me.Purchased it used like new and I charge it every three or four days while using it the whole day. The clamping is a bit strong, but the cushions make it really comfortable to wear it for hours. It cuts out if I leave the room where I have my devices, so keep that in mind if range is something you care about. It’s and odd choice to make it so you can only configure it using a phone app. I don’t mind, but they should’ve integrated this to the Logitech GHUB app. Finally, would love to purchase custom plates but I have looked for them everywhere and I don’t think they exist at all.

Great headset! This is the way. Great sound and mic as you would expect from Astro/Logitech. The device itself is well made and looks fantastic while also being extremely comfortable. This headset does not work with the GHUB pc app which to me is a plus as I greatly prefer the app on my phone. Wish it came with ear pads that weren’t leather but that’s easy enough to remedy,
best headset anyone. heck yes I had the A20s sold then and regretted it forever, this one’s are much better I had a soul cleansing and finally forget the A20s. They have great sound, great quality, the battery seems to last forever, the finish is amazing, the only Con I can think of is that sometimes the volume goes up idk why and you are not prepared for it, simply fixed by pressing the level to lower and it’s all good
Upgraded from the A20s to TME 30s. I’ve had the 20s for a couple years now, amazing headset. the 30s take everything that made the 20s so good and more. They have great sound quality with some punchy bass too. The fact I can dongle to my xbox or BT to my phone is so nice. A feature the 20s cannot do. Now I can remote play with my Android and the headset. The mix app is easy to use and makes for a custom experience. Crazy long battery life and comfortable to wear. When I saw The Mandolorian Edition I was sold immediately. 10/10.
Love em. I’ve been using these for a while now and I have not had any issues. The sound is great, fits perfect, and looks just as nice as it does in the photo to this day.
Good!
Amazing. I originally started with the A20s and upgraded to the A30 love, that I can connect my phone, and console at the same time love how it has noise cancellation and can control everything on the app, love it and is a really great headset, I would recommend. This headset is comfortable and sound great
