Great no-slide surface. This is my second IUGA Pro mat. My last one wore out in the foot area and started flaking away which is why I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars because it should be more durable in that area and last a bit longer. That said, it’s the only mat I’ve ever used where my hands don’t slip, no matter how sweaty they get. It’s not super thick, but I’ve found thick ones to be too unstable, and this one is comfortable enough while being rock solid immovable so I feel secure attempting any pose without fearing my feet or hands will skid.
Great mat. I purchased this mat for hot yoga classes. So far I’ve really enjoyed it. I use acloth mat on top so I’m not sure if I’d slip without that, but the material feels pretty slip-proof. Only thing I’m iffy about is that it doesn’t roll up very tightly. It had a weird smell that went away after two uses. Overall, I find it very comfortable and am happy with the purchase.
Good for a Moderate Sweater. I purchased this for hot yoga and now have used it for 6 months. In the beginning when I was only going to the easier hot classes, the mat would last fine. Now that I go to the harder classes and sweat more, once the mad absorbs so much sweat, it is almost too wet to practice on. In the places where my hands and feet are placed most frequently, I slide there even sooner once the mat gets enough sweat. Overall, I do like the mat for my easier hot classes, but I am starting to need a towel for the mat for the harder, hot classes.

poor poor customer service. Great grip, lightweight and easy to carry round.How I wanted to LOVE this mat……But after just 6-7 months of use, this bubble appeared and its just there.I contacted the iuga costumer support about it and after a lot of back and forth, that shows a lack of proper costumer service (one reply email apologising, the next asking for a pic, a third asking for a copy of order and so on …) they said they dont know what happened and here’s a 20% refund.AAAANNND then had the nerve to send another email asking about the how frequently i used the mat and at what ambient and temperatures i use and store it…. Almost felt like a started working for them. nope.So i guess for the price…. its an okay mat.
