Easy to use. This is so easy to use and results are awesome. We updated an old weathered armoire and brought it almost back to new. You would have never known it was a junk piece the original owner wanted to toss.
My furniture had a facelift. I have Mexican Pine furniture snd this product gave the wood a rich facelift. So easy to use! I love how it worked.
Easy way to restore furniture fish. Howard’s restor-a-finish is easy to use and good quality. If you just want to touch up and brighten, it’s perfect and comes in a range of shades. It’s not meant for more major jobs but i have used it to create a finish where mopping or other water contact has eliminated an old one – and been happy.

Renews woods. My cabinets look fantastic. Don’t have to varnish. Just wipe on and restores the woods to new. I Love it. Easy to use.
Makes old furniturte almost new. Nothing except total refinishing will make old, scratched, damaged furniture look new. But some products have the ability to make it look really good, and this one of those products. I used the suggested 0000 steel wool pads and poured the restorer on the pad. Wiping with the grain of the wood, applying various amounts of pressure depending on the severity of the damage. Once the first round was applied and then wiped off with a clear cotton cloth, I waited 30 minutes and repeated the process. Then did it again a third time. The product really works well, but again, it’s no miracle worker.Several thoughts on the product. First off if the finish is chipped or gouged to bare wood, this will not improve that area. You need a furniture color pen to darken the wood, or use a filler and then a furniture pen and blend the area to match. Also start with a light color restorer, (I used the Golden Oak), and if that doesn’t work as well as expected you can also go to a darker shade, but you can’t go from dark to light. Finally the rags you use as well as the steel wool will be hazardous due to the solvent they retain. Rags with solvent can self-combust so please dispose of them properly. I suggest either soaking them in water before placing them outside in a closed garbage can or in a metal can with the lid tightly closed. I usually have a few empty paint cans from a big box store just for such purpose.The photos speak for themselves. A good product for easy refinishing to a much better finish.

Amazing improvement on drab cabinets. I use this on out dated light oak cabinets in my new home I purchased while back, man did it make super difference and improved the drab look of worn cabinets. Worth every penny

Great Product. I have always liked Howard Products. Restor-A-Finish has certainly confirmed that again. I have a large floor that gets a lot of hard wear. ( I had 5 indoor cats…..down to two now ). I hated the thought of having to hire someone to sand and finish this 15.5 ft x 22 ft. floor. So, after reading the write-up of this product, I decided to try it first. The floor was so bad it couldn’t hurt to try. I was totally amazed and blown away by the beautiful results. I had purchased 2 – 16oz. cans but needed only one. My floor is gorgeous and believe me it was badly in need of restoration. I am so very glad I tried this product and as they suggested will apply their Feed and Wax product now. My floor is oak so I purchased the Golden Oak color and it did a fantastic job. Super easy to apply…I just used a rag and elbow grease and didn’t skimp on the product. My floor was really bad and now looks great.

Easy To Use. Used on my golden oak kitchen cabinets and it made them look new. These cabinets are about 40 years old and they literally look shiny, color restored, and new. I first used krudcutter to remove dirt, paint stains, oil, etc. Then I applied this–just poured some on a rag and wiped it on. Following the directions on the can, I did not apply to the wood directly. Turned out much better than expected. Would definitely purchase again for other faded wood items.
I am shocked how well this works. I saw this on a video and gave it a try because it was so inexpensive. I initially bought it to repair the trim and casing around my windows where my dogs had scratched it up, but it worked so well that I used it on doors and door frames. Then I remembered I had several water rings on my night stands and it mad them disappear!Worked so well, I reordered different colors for different furniture.Absolutely amazing. It salvaged pieces that I thought I would have to replace.
Transformative Product. Got a Broyhill octagon-shaped end table at a yard sale for $5. Needed some tender loving care. Washed it thoroughly and applied the Restor-A-Finish, as directed; ended with Howard Feed-N-Wax Wood Polish and Conditioner. Did need the #0000 steel wool a bit, and I am delighted with the outcome! So much better than sanding and staining. Extreme ease of use! Recommend, for sure!
Why did I not find this sooner, so good, so easy, so much time saved. This stuff saved me so much time. I use to refinish everything from scratch. Clean, sand, re-stain. It would make a huge mess and take a long time.This stuff is pure magic. I now keep a few colors stocked at all times. As far as those colors are concerned, it really does matter which color you choose, so do a test first. I have used a good range of the colors and they just work so well. I love this stuff and would never be without it again.It still smells a little, so it’s best to use it outside, but not nearly as much as stain.Great stuff, seriously, just try it once and you’ll be hooked.
