Smells good? Yes. Helps wood? Eh…yesish if used alone. **Disclaimer! This product states on the bottle that it is to be used AFTER a restoration. This product is NOT for fixing any deep stains or marks. Keep that in mind when ordering and reading further.**I originally saw this product on Prime Day as an “Amazon’s Choice” for wood polisher. I checked it out and found the reviews very impressive but was still not sold on it. After a week and some change, I decided that less than $9 wasn’t a huge risk to see if this polished really would help my 50+ year old wood table. For starters, my table is old. On top of it being old, it’s been through 2 kids, 2 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. That means water stains, nicks, dings, cuts, and the oddly scratched in picture. I have been toying with the idea of just doing an overall sand down and refinish on the surface but it’s one of those suuuuper long processes that I do not look forward to accomplishing. In the past I have tried coconut oil and it does alright. It’s shiny but it’s always ALWAYS slick for awhile. You can’t plan to be around the table for awhile before it soaks in. Now it’s probably my own fault, but I felt lead that this product would give fantastic shine and clear up water stains and marks. After all, the reviews and pictures are very compelling. Now the product itself is interesting. It’s very thick and is almost like honey that’s been thickened up a bit to make it more of a jelly like substance. It also smells like an orange grove. The instructions for use are very easy. You load up a soft cloth, wax on, wax off 20 minutes later. I grabbed my biggest microfiber towel and laid a nice ol glob on it and spread it around in a familiar circular motion. I waited probably longer than 20 minutes but what’s the worst that could happen? Well, nothing really. It made it nice and shiny. So shiny in fact that every flaw is gloriously highlighted beautifully for everyone to see. The water stains are shiny. The cuts are shiny. The dings are shiny. The etched in pictures and rudely drawn “NO!” from an act of stubbornness over homework was…shiny. That’s it. It smelled heavenly, too. The results were not actually based in too much truth from what I read on the reviews and I’m pretty disappointed but again, my own fault for not reading further.I will plan to try again after a day or 2 to see if the wood deeper in the table just needs some time to soak up the conditioners but I can say for sure that I don’t have my hopes up this time around. Alas, I’ll have to refinish it but I will plan on using this after and hopefully will be able to give a thorough review based on the actual use. So 5/5 stars for a great conditioners but it does not magically before your eyes heal wood.
Good product for damaged wood. I recently had my roof replaced. They did not finish the job nor did they properly cover the roof before a rain storm came. My vaulted wood ceiling was damaged and stained. Howard’s wood product did not reverse the damage but it certainly made a big difference in the appearance and the wood seems to be much better condition overall than before. I applied it to the entire ceiling and will continue to use it on a regular basis.
Heavy beeswax. It just heavy beeswax and it doesn’t do any cleaning. It just sits in top of woods with any sort of finish on them. Probably better for wood with not much finish. You have to clean well first before you use it.
This is the best for unfinished wood. Awesome product. I always finish everything with urethane/tung oil. But when I do not use that technique this is the way to go.
Great results. The top edge of the doors on my kitchen cabinet below my sink were dull and faded. You can see the door on the left looks shiny and new compared to the right hand door, which I haven’t polished yet. I used this on my coffee table and this cleaned and shined it, plus it has a nice aroma. I simply applied a tiny bit on a rag and rubbed off the excess.
easy to apply, easy to remove witjh beautiful shine. I found it easy to put on and easy to wipe and polish. the shine and scent was impressive. i highly recommend this product. thank you Amazon for keeping this product my hairdresser recommended it.

Amazing transformation. This product does an amazing job of moisturizing and helping restore worn wood surfaces! I have included a before and after photo of my kitchen table. The finish is scuffed, but after using this product, it looks much better. And it feels moisturized. The results seem to be longer lasting than with any other product I have tried to use. I applied the wood polish on some bathroom cabinets where the wood surface is chipping away all along the front of the doors. It now feels moist, and the little pieces of wood and lacquer that previously would rain down if I rubbed the surface, no longer do so. I recommend squirting the beeswax wood polish into a bowl and then dipping a soft cloth or paper towel into the bowl. Then rub it onto the wood surface. This method was faster and more controllable for me than squirting the product from the bottle directly onto my cloth. It does have a beeswax smell that my husband complained about. It didn’t bother me. The scent was gone within about 12 hours after the application.
Works great. I got this product for under the sink cabinets. They have water-drip damage from over time. I applied to one side to test and looks great!! Ideally, restaining is the best option but this product brought life back into the doors for less $ and time.Easy to apply. Nice fresh orange scent, not too overpowering.
Rehydrates wood, covers water marks and more. Read about this and was skeptical, but I’m happy to report it works fantastically well! I’ve used it on kitchen cabinets (varnished), and several old doors and a fireplace that were bare wood. It soaks in and covers the dry patches and water marks. So far, a month in, the wood still looks great. It does darken the wood so be prepared for that.
Really makes the dry spots disappear instantly. I was shocked how well this worked. I have 30 year old cabinets that really show their age. One cabinet in particular is over my coffee maker, and the steam had destroyed the finish on the door. One swipe of this product made that steam mark disappear completely, and it is now shiny and looks new. It also worked on the areas where my dogs have scratched at the back door…it just makes everything wood look new. Also really nice lemon smell during application.
Amazing Stuff. This polish is AMAZING! I have teak stained wood kitchen cabinets that have taken a beating over the past many years. I was resigned to the belief that I would have to replace the cabinet doors due to wear and tear, scratches, water stains etc. I discovered this wax on Amazon and decided to give it a try. WOW what a difference. My cabinets look brand new. Other waxes and polishes would work but a day later all the blemishes would bleed through. A week later they would look bad again. This stuff feeds the wood, erases the blemishes and lasts for a long time. It’s been weeks since I first applied this wax and my cabinet doors still look great! Try it … you won’t be disappointed!
Amazing product. First, the wax smells so good and makes the house smell wonderful. Second and more importantly, it did an absolutely amazing job on making my antiques and older furniture really shine and brighten up. I started using it on my kitchen cabinets as well as other furniture because it did such a good job on the items I bought it for originally. Highly recommend this product.
It works and smells great. This smells great good value easy to use no leakage cleans great is very durable.my only wish is that they stay as shiny as when you apply it. I use this on wood and on my counter tops just let dry shines everything up and looks great.
Works well, but layer up. You will need lots of elbow grease to work this in properly into your wood products. As the bottle’s instructions say, you will need to “feed” the wood to treat and protect it. They do not exaggerate. I applied a teaspoon at a time for sections of wood, apply it with a soft cloth (paper towels can also work in a pinch). Easily spent 30+ minutes applying more and more over a 3 square ft space. The finish felt very smooth, at least as smooth as the untreated, (far) less worn out sections… but the appearance did not improve yet. Had to apply a few more coats over time to begin to build up a layer of shine to help blend in.

Nourished my antiques. I have some antique furniture that was looking a bit dry. First time I used it the wood came to life. Back to the beautiful rich wood grain. A little goes a long way. Great deal and product. Will be keeping this in my cleaning kit
Polishes and Conditions. Exactly as described. I was looking for a product to enhance the appearance of my wood surfaces and to guard against dryness and signs of aging. This product is a GREAT choice. Works really well on my antique pieces, as well as my wooden banisters and trims. Leaves a nice sheen behind. Will purchase again.

You can’t go wrong with Howard Products. Not only does this product work great, it smells great, too. I have a teak dining table and chairs that look so amazing after treatment with this product. It is easy to put on and then wiped dry with another cloth. Such an improvement. Looks pretty close to new and I have had the table and chairs for 20 years.
Works amazing. Worked better than I thought, I was very surprised at how it revived the finish of my cabinets. Easy to use. Great price, would buy again.
