Honest opinion from personal experience: it worths a try. I was very skeptical about this product and in general I order things through internet only when I don’t have another alternative. Before this, I used Dove dry shampoo but decided to find a shampoo powder like to see the difference and maybe save some money? I wasn’t able to find a dry shampoo powder like in any stores, so I decided to check online. I took a long time before deciding to buy this particular product, especially after reading all the negative reviews.I personally like it a lot, the only thing is that you have to wash your hair really well, especially if you buy the product for dark hair, as when you wash it you can see how the water is dirty, and after applying it on the scalp your hands remain grey, so you have to wash them.I have read some reviews that it has a smell that is too strong or that it doesn’t have the new cap that would help to monitor the quantity of shampoo it poors when you try to use it. In my case none of the above is true, it does have a really nice refreshing smell, it is not too strong, but it lasts until you wash your hair giving it a fresh odor. It does absorbs the sebum very well and it doesn’t leave any visible residue or visible particles of powder that would look bad.When I just got it it seemed very small and I thought it won’t last longer than a month, but I bought it in April and now is September and the bottle is halfway full and I use it 3+ times a week. (I left a picture of the product size comparing to a quarter, so you can have an idea of how big it is)When it came it was very full that I had some hard time to use it the first couple weeks.I am a heavy dry shampoo user as my hair gets oily really fast, and from my experience of buying dry shampoos that were deodorant-like and comparing to this product, I can solemnly say that I saved a lot of money because before every 3 weeks I had to buy a new one.I recommend it to everyone, especially that it is based on natural ingredients and it is a good deal. I would definetely buy it again.I want to emphasize that this is not a “bought” review.PS. I bought it for dark hair. I did not have any problems with shipment and the product was securely sealed.
I’m a Believer. Thin, stringy hair runs strong in my family: My mother had it, my sister has it, & I have it as well. We also have a history of having oily scalps, and when you combine a head not-so-full of hair & a tendency for an oily scalp, what happens is that you wake up the morning after a shampoo and your hair is greasy, clumped together, and your scalp shows through around the part. You look like a dirty, drowned rat & wonder what happened during the night that made your hair so oily! Doesn’t matter if you washed it the previous morning or right before bed, you’re going to wake up looking like Tim Robbins after crawling through that pipe in The Shawshank Redemption.There are a few things you can do about it:1. Wash & style your hair every single day.2. Get a perm (the chemicals dry out the scalp & adds volume.)3. If you don’t want to wash your hair daily, find a product that keeps your scalp dry.I do not like washing & styling my hair every day (I’d rather sleep another 15 minute) and perms are expensive, so I usually go for option 3.1. Spray on dry shampoo: it doesn’t work with thin hair & oily scalp – it just leaves a thick, greasy residue that adds to the dirty hair.2. A hat, but I can’t wear them at work.3. Corn starch powder (so long as you’re not allergic to corn products) or Baby Powder. These actually do work. I go for the corn starch because it is much, much cheaper & has no fragrance. But, both options are messy – the powder is very light gets all over & you look like Marie Antionette in a powdered wig. I put it on at night before bed, then maybe a little more in the morning as I’m putting on makeup, then towel off my hair. It may look a little dusty, but at least it’s dry & adds a bit of volume.So I thought to myself, “Why don’t they make a powder with some color to it?” Cuz the white powder, as I said, does leave some residue & you have to really scrub your head with the towel. Even then, I tend to have dry hands & lips & can feel the grit all day. Anyway, I decided to look on Amazon to see if they had anything, and of course, they do!I found quite a few products with colored powder dry shampoos, and read through the reviews. I chose this one. I felt the price was good & so were the reviews.I was not impressed by the small bottle (wish it were bigger), but people said a little goes a long way, so I tried it for the first time last night about a half hour before bedtime. Now, I’m not sure if you’re ‘supposed’ to put it on before bed, but that’s what I usually do with the corn starch, so I did. I sprinkled it on the crown of my hair & it looked like greyish purple powder. I went back to watch the end of my tv show, and after 5 minutes, I used my fingers to comb it into my hair like the instructions say to. Upon seeing myself in the bathroom mirror before going to bed, I smirked because it looked just like the corn starch . . . or so I thought.I wake up, and the powder was almost gone from my hair (it did not mess my pillow or get on my pajamas.) My hair looked perfectly dry & normal. The greyish purple had turned brown (on my scalp) and I did not have to use any more & had no dusty residue after I brushed & styled it, no dry lips or hands, no gritty feel whatsoever. I am VERY PLEASED with this product – a little does go a long way! There was a fragrance when I put it on (it was okay), but it was totally gone in the morning. I am so glad I took a chance. I am now a customer for life! Love it!
An amazing product. So I have always been an everyday hair washer. However, becoming a mom has changed that. All of the sudden I found that I didn’t have time to dry my hair each day so I would wash it and put it up wet in a bun. This was damaging my hair so I decided to try and find a good dry shampoo so I could go one or two days between washes. I did a bunch of research on the best natural dry shampoos. (Aluminum spray on my scalp?? No thank you.) this product was consistently rated top 10 on multiple different sites. For the price point I thought- why not get it a shot. It’s been a few weeks of using it so I can officially say I love it. Such a great product!!!One of ny favorite things about this product is that it removes that gross hair smell you get after a day or two of not washing it. This product simply takes it all away- My hair doesn’t smell like anything- which I love!! (Mostly I hate it when my hairs smells like hair- if you know what I mean). I also notice it didn’t make my scalp itch at all. Another great thing is that it blends in really well (I have dark brown hair). It takes ALLLL the grease away. And I mean all. (I work out every day and sweat in my head- a little blow-dry and a little of this magic and poof! I have amazing volumized clean hair). The other great thing about this product is that it will last for a day or two. I will apply it the day after I shower and day 3 I have no grease either! The ONLY slightly negative thing I will say about this product is that when you do apply it and you do itch your scalp you will sometimes get the grey powder under your nails which makes them look dirty. But seriously that is such a minor thing compared to how great this product is!! Very very happy with my purchase.
Works but leaves some residue. This does work very well actually but it leaves some residue. For me it’s not that I can see it, but that I can feel a slight graininess when I touch the hair where it’s been applied. Not a big problem because of course there’s going to be some texture to it and it’s better than being stressed over greasy hair!
It’s alright. I don’t like the smell of this at all. It almost makes me not want to use it. And I’m not that ecstatic about the black color of the powder given that my hair is blonde. It takes a while for me to blend it in. But aside from that it does a good job of absorbing the oil and gives your hair volume.
Better than Primally Pure. I have been using Primally Pure dry shampoo for years but wanted to find something cheaper. This looked comparable in ingredients so I was hopeful. This blows Primally pure out of the water in my opinion! I used just the tiniest amount and it was effective. Within a couple hours there was no trace of the residue on my scalp at all. Usually with Primally pure, my scalp feels gross and itchy and I’m ready for a wash the next day. But now 24 hours after using this one and my hair looks completely normal and clean, as if there was no dry shampoo in it! I am so impressed. Please never change this product!

I think it deserves a 5-star when applied in specific circumstances. I can’t it use it in the dark when I am about to fall asleep, because I really need a mirror to see where I am applying, I have to bend my head in all different directions, and it needs to be rubbed in or brushed in thoroughly. It gets your hand quite dusty, a hand wash is needed. It does show against my dark hair if i didn’t brush it evenly.I still love it though. It’s good value, easy to store, does it what it says well. I am pretty happy about that.

Easy to dispense.The bad: this is strongly, horribly scented. The mix of floral scents and the natural smell of the product gave it an eau de cat litter that hung around all day and gave me a headache. It also didn’t work quite as well as I would have expected- it reduced oiliness but didn’t give me much more volume.This stuff very literally stinks, which is a shame because I mostly like how the product functions. If they ever make an unscented version I’d try it, otherwise not for me or anyone with an even halfway sensitive nose.

Saving your hair in a rush or when just not in the mood to wash. I was completely skeptical at first being the chick that loved the spray. It actually gives my hair volume. Not exactly like the videos but it definitely raised the bar. I’m typically an “every other day” shampoo person but I can go 3 days. I have relatively thin hair and around my forehead and my pain points, greasy by noon on a regular day. This has been a major help. I work in a sensitive business where there is zero room for looking like the weekend. This is the jam and no more hair funk, oil chaos on a random Wednesday. I will say, and it’s just my trick. I use it at night and touch up in the morning. Note – it will scatter on clothes and floor if you happen to load up in your hand. I suggest having a second brush for this solely.
Legitimately the best dry shampoo. I’ve tried a lot of dry shampoos. I purchased this one to avoid aerosols (after finding out they contain high levels of carcinogens), and after four months of use, I realized I have had zero problems. This product keeps my hair looking clean for a full day and night with one application in the morning. I have very oil hair and can go about 5 days without shampooing if I apply this. It smells decent, doesn’t leave ANY white cast, and is volumizing. I have been using this product 3-5 days a week (mostly on my bangs) for the past four months and I still have half the bottle left.
The best dry shampoo on the market. I waited a bit to write a review on this one. I have very fine hair, but a lot of it. Dry shampoos don’t work on me. I tried the sprays, the powders, I tried doing that “no shampoo” method for 6 months waiting for my scalp to “rebalance” while looking like a greased weasel, tried all kinds of special shampoos and masks and conditioners, and just gave up and started washing my hair every day with a sulfate free shampoo.That works ok, but I’m getting older, and my hair is more frail. Last year my hair grew a pathetic 4 inches, with regular end trimmings against split ends. I was crushed.So I took a shot at this one – it’s not baby powder but coconut. Wee-ow, it’s the best. I can go up to 4 days if I don’t mind looking a little greasy on that 4th day, but I usually go 3 and then wash. Every single other dry shampoo has my scalp itching after a day. Not this one. Another unexpected result – it gives me VOLUME. Nothing else, not blowing drying, curlers, an entire bottle of hairspray – has ever, ever given my fine limp hair volume. Ever. This stuff smells good, absorbs all the oil in my hair, and my hair has grown a good inch and a half since January. An inch and a half!!!It’s outdone my wildest expectations. My hair is so much stronger and I can’t believe my hair looks fresh and washed after using this. I love it so much. Please don’t ever stop making this!!
Love love love. Love it!!! I get my hair dyed bleach blonde and this is absolutely perfect! I only wash my hair about 2 times a week. This is my 3rd time purchasing this? With it being bleached I try to avoid anymore damage. This works great and better than the aerosol! And it last wayyyyy longer! A definitely must have especially if you’re hair gets greasy!
AMAZING product. This is an amazing product. I have very fine hair that gets greasy within a few hours. This completely eliminates any greasiness and gives VOLUME. This product has actually improved my life. It lasts longer than any aerosol and is so much healthier for you. The only con I can say is it kinda goes everywhere when applying. I have blonde hair so I do use the white powder version. The results heavily outweigh this issue though. So so happy I found this product.
Great but does build up easily. Works great. Absorbs oils and light fragrance. Definitely for darker hair though and cannot use more than one or two times without build up.

Amazing product. Solved every single issue I had. I wish I would have known about this earlier. I used to use a major brand in a can but I hated it. I have textured hair and the other stuff dried it out and made it feel brittle. On top of that, i was using a can a week because I have a ton of waist length hair that is thick as all get out. That’s just so much trash in an already, over polluted world. Plus, all the chemicals…. ewwww.I have been waiting to use this stuff till my hair had significant funk to test it out. The reviews were right, start slow. I had spray can mentality and it was heavy at first. I brushed it in and closed the dial a little. I got the formula for medium/dark hard and love it. It doesn’t darken my silver hair and I love that but it also doesn’t make it look dusty. It just looks fresh and voluminous. It was still shiny too and I NEVER had that with the canned stuff.This is gonna last me so much longer.Remember to get the dust out of your ears before you go out. Caught the dust in my ears and cleaned it up, right in time before I left. 😆I can not recommend this stuff enough.I do wish they had a eco friendly refill but a can a week, has been deleted from land waste from me because of this amazing company.With my super thick and long wavy/curly hair, this one can should last me a few months.Also, doesn’t make my scalp feel all dry and tight and scratchy.
