  1. Be Careful not to reverse the gloves for cleaning. This is a pair of “tough” gardening gloves which should last for a long time and not easily worn out. I have used it for more than 6 months and thus am able to provide an objective view of its performance. They are tightly fitted and thus you may want to choose your size carefully. I would say pick a slightly larger size if you want to wash them. The gloves are thick and thus provide good protection against sharp thorns and scratches from branches. It also means that thick gloves reduce flexibility. It’s a trade-off issue we must understand when we select this kind of gloves.I do like these gloves but found one major disadvantage: it’s very hard to clean. If you are hoping to hand wash it, you need to pick a sunny day so that you can dry it outdoors. However, I do considerable gardening work in Fall where I need to use gloves. Fall weather doesn’t allow quick drying outdoors. I made a terrible mistake by flipping it inside out, thinking that I can brush the inside and dry it faster. I would advise against doing this for anyone who wants to try! Please pay attention carefully: you will face TREMENDOUS challenges trying to flip them back again. This is because the leather is not easy to flip inside out. Even when they are almost dry, it’s difficult to reverse it. Trust me, this is really not easy! I have to use a pair of piers to pull out all the fingers, as you know, it may damage the gloves!I wish there is an easy way to wash the inside of the gloves. This is something the manufacturer must think about. Otherwise, what I would suggest is to soak the gloves in soap water for cleaning the inside, and then hang it outdoors to dry thoroughly before next use. Do not use a dryer because it may damage the leather. Hope my two cents worth review will be helpful to you. Happy gardening!

  2. No More Thorns Hurting Me. I used to get all scratched up and had thorns going right through my long sleeve top and my gardening gloves every time I pruned my barberry bushes. I thought there must be a better way! I looked on amazon to see if there were long gardening gloves that were heavy enough to ward off the thorns and chose these. Much thanks to the person who wrote about how they were handy when pruning barberry bushes! Just used them for the first time on those shrubs and they were awesome! Problem solved! Highly recommend! I bought the brown ones so they wouldn’t show the dirt as easily.

  3. 99% effective, love these. These are amazing! I live in Zone 6. I have 2 acre property and do a lot of weeding and pruning by hand. I purchased these to worm more efficiently and I feel like big store home and garden stores completely misunderstand the gloves gardeners need (please stop making pink mechanic gloves and passing them off as gardening gloves, no). This pair is awesome and I bought another set to rotate as I use. I have multiple thorny rose hedges and these are so comfortable and breathable compared to other gloves. Very strong, very protective and I love that I can use my phone without removing them because of the finger pads. I washed them on delicate and air dried and this did not affect the quality. I put 99% effective because thistles…this will not protect you against sow thistles or any thistles. Proceed with caution!

  4. Handlandy gardening gloves. I don’t usually write a review but I’ve been using these gloves around the yard picking up brush we are on about 2 acres of property and they are great for picking up sticks and logs tearing out blackberries I can pull on the blackberries and they don’t hurt my hands they protect my arms all in all great gloves to protect your hands and they are very durable so far , I highly recommend to anyone to give them a try , I want to order another pair for my husband I give them 5 stars if I could I would give more .

  5. Perfect Fit and Durable. I have several rose bushes and pruning them is a challenge. I have the scars to prove it! I hesitated making this purchase and paying over $15 for “garden” gloves, but these are no ordinary garden gloves! These gloves are well made and cover my entire forearms, which allows me to easily prune my rose bushes. I would definitely buy them again!

  6. Lasted all season. I used these for hours every week all summer long and they are still holding up. I opted for the light pair after reading the reviews on the other colors leaving staining behind.. no color transfer from the beige pair. I was sure to lay them out flat to dry off after every use. Great purchase.

  7. Still got poked by thornes. These gloves are very comfortable, the long sleeves helped me prevent many scratches, I could cut back the small sucker branches located in the middle of the rose bush with out any pokes or scratches. However, the rose bushes I have, produce very large thorns like a tiger claw! Some were too sharp for these gloves and pierced the glove near the fingers and got me a few times too many. I let out a few cuss words when this happened. Lol. I will still use these gloves but will be reminded the thorns can still make their way through.

  8. Sturdy, comfortable, long enough to protect the forearms. Sturdy anti-scratch long gardening gloves are exactly what I needed. Our neighbor doesn’t weed (or mow), so we get constant infestations of dewberry and blackberry from next door. They are nasty to remove with regular gloves—even with a shirt on, your arms get stabbed and cut. That’s no longer a problem. I’m finally making some headway with removing the dewberries and the gloves are good for pruning roses, holly, and our Acacia tree (which has long thorns).I should have bought these years ago, I didn’t know you could get longer gloves. I recommend them for anyone who gardens regularly.

  9. The Best Glove for the Discerning Rosarian. As a relative newbie on the Rose scene, I was unaware just what a difference it makes to have a really good pair of pruning gloves. After barely making do with my standard garden gloves for a while, I was turned on to these lovelies, and they have changed my rose game. I have pruned the thorniest of roses with these babies and not one thorn has poked through. I love that they cover my arms and protect them from sun in addition to the pesky thorns. They look pretty and are surprisingly comfy, as far as pruning gloves go and have made pruning roses so painless that it’s a chore that I actually look forward to. The only downside that I have found is it has made rose care so easy that I have felt the need to add to my rose collection exponentially.

  10. Mostly great. I’m using these to get rid of Canadian thistle so the length is terrific. The protection from is good at the pink parts but basically nonexistent over the white parts though. Great friction protection – I can use a pick or pruner for > 2 hours without hand skin abrasion or blisters.

  11. Great gloves. Best gloves to use when working on your rose bush. Heavy material. Real good not to get pricked. Found similar for $40 but they were cheap looking. Great price for these heavy gloves. Very durable. Glad I bought them.

  12. Smooth and resistand, great combination. These gloves are excelente, offer good protection to rose thorns, and are soft and confortable at the same timeI had a small issue with them, and the service of the vendor was fast and corrected the issue 100%

Excellent for yard work involving holly and roses. Fit is perfect. I normally wear a medium dress glove and a large work glove. I bought the large size, and it proved durable, fit perfectly, and protected not just my hand but my forearm as well. I strongly recommend it for anyone doing yard work, especially with anything having thorns or spines

  14. Almost 100% thornproof but not puppy proof. These glove are wonderful. They are flexible and comfortable to wear yet thorn proof enough to pull brambles in order to cut and then pile those cut brambles into the burn pile. The cuffs extend upo to the elbow. A well designed and manufactured product. My only issue is that my dog is very attracted to them and ate the thumb off one of them already. Not the glove/manufacturers fault. I’m ordering another pair, just have to keep it high out of the dogs reach when not in use.

  16. Just excellent & versatile. Great fit, superb quality leather, excellent workmanship, & they not only protect my hands & arms on my rose garden, they protect me while brushing my playful longhaired kitten & when I have to put my huge psychiatrically fearful cat in his carrier to go to the vet every year!

  17. Great gardening gloves. These gloves fit well, really protect your hands and lower arms, and still allow easy hand and finger movement . I bought another pair for my daughter-in-law who also gardens and she loves them as well. They are particularly helpful when pruning roses and other plants with thorns or “stickers”. I highly recommend them!

  18. Great Protection and Flexibility. Size XL fit perfect. Made well, Sleeve length cover arms well. Great protection. Flexible glove on hands for ease of detailed work and holding tools.

  19. VERY nice gloves. Wow! Love these! Trying to clean up probably 5 acres of 20 year old sticker bushes along our horse fence line. These are thick and well made!I would say go up one size from your regularglove size. I am usually a medium and large in these fit great. I cannot fully bend my fingers but I do NOT care! NO more thorns cutting my hands and arms!

  20. Good gloves for protection. Serious thorn gloves. Work well, fit well, and do the job to protect arms and hands from various thorns such as roses, and vines.

  21. They really work. We live in the dessert and these are a must if you plan to handle cactus/aloe or agave! The quality is really great, they fit amazing, super comfortable and the dexterity you have while wearing these is impressive! I’ve had gloves before were I felt like my fingers couldn’t move properly but these really really great! Highly recommend!!!

  22. Great Protection, Comfort, and Fit – A Must for Thorny Yard Work. Great Protection, Comfort, and Fit – A Must for Thorny Yard Work!I’m really happy I found these gardening gloves—they’ve been a game-changer for tackling my rose bushes and general yard work. The extended cuffs are a huge plus, offering protection almost up to the elbows, which is perfect for reaching into thorny or overgrown areas without getting scratched up. No more wrapping my arms in plastic! The gloves are well-constructed and surprisingly effective. Even with older, thorn-heavy rose bushes, I barely feel anything through the material. I’ve also used them in wet soil after rain, and they’ve held up well—my fingers stayed dry even after a few hours of weeding. While they don’t look overly bulky, they provide solid protection and decent water resistance.Sizing was spot on for me (I went with Medium), though I also tried a Large and found the fingers a bit too long. If you’re unsure, consider trying both, but they do seem to run true to size.Overall, these gloves are sturdy, comfortable, and absolutely worth it if you need reliable protection for serious gardening. Highly recommend!

  23. I’m a Master Gardener. Best gloves I ever had. I’m a Master Gardener and these are the best gardening gloves I even had in my life. What I love about them is when the gloves get wet with mud they do not dry like cement. They remain completely supple. It’s amazing! You can spray them off with the hose and they are like brand new again. They fit true to for and the glove part is very soft. The sleeve part is very strong. You can also pull the drawstring at the arm to tighten the glove if you wish. They have endured large thorns from rose bushes and have taken a beating every which way. No holes… nothing! They are SO durable. I love them so much I bought two more pairs to keep handy in case they ever stopped making them. These will last me forever. I tried lots of gloves. You don’t have to look any further once you get these.

  24. Great pair of gloves. This is an awesome pair of work gloves! Way more dependable than my x husband! Pulling prickly weeds with ease without coming through the extended length also protects from all the poison ivy’s!! Not sure how the finger tips will hold up that’s always been my issue with gardening gloves! Will order more..great colors too!!

  25. Surprisingly Tough for Cactus Work. These gloves handled our dragon fruit cactus trimming much better than expected. The fabric is breathable and soft on the inside but reinforced in all the right areas—especially around the fingers and forearms. The thorn resistance is excellent for most typical garden thorns, and while we still felt a few pokes when directly pressing into the spines, it didn’t break through. They’re comfortable for extended wear and fit true to size (we used the medium). The long gauntlet cuffs are a huge bonus, especially when dealing with tall or climbing plants. The floral print is cute, but the performance is what stood out most—these aren’t just pretty gloves; they’re tough enough for real garden work. Easy to use, they didnt have a smell. Good value for the price.
