**Update: Extra Bolster Covers Too Big. Update: the company did get back to me again to try to make things right. I also washed the extra bolster covers in hot water and a medium dryer. The small one fits almost perfectly. There’s a little bit of extra fabric at the end but it’s not noticeable and doesn’t get in the way of using it. The same with the large bolster, although it was a little more difficult to zip up. I did read the reviews of other issues, but mine came clean, have no odor and feel really nice to lie on and do restorative yoga, the travel cases are wonderful too.Previous review: I am really enjoying the bolsters I ordered but when I went to change the cover it was way too big. So big as to render it unusable. I reached out to the company and said they were making the covers bigger because customers were having difficult changing the covers. They thanked so they could improve the product in the future. They said nothing about what they can do to fix the problem, even though I wrote back again and asked them about how they will fix it or if it makes sense to wash the extra covers and put them in the dryer. I find this a very disappointing response. They also provided zero instructions on how to get the original cover off in the product materials that came with the holster, not on their website. I learned how to do that on a competitor’a website. I purchased two of their bolsters and both had the same problem.
It is Just Right. This bolster is not too soft , but also not too firm . Like a very firm memory foam , but not memory foam is the best way I can describe it. It is just the right height for proper meditation seating . Comfortable on the toosh for long periods of sitting , without being so soft that it can not be used for a good stretch in Yoga. I use it in place of blocks , and as a meditation cushion , as well as for restorative stretches for my lower back and sciatic pain , as well as opening the shoulders , in ways I was having a hard time doing before. There is no strange smell , the additional covers fit just right. Everything about it , is just right.
