So far I am pretty happy with the chair, time will tell though.
Amazing ergonomic chair for the price, quality, and customer support. I’ve waited two months to leave a review for this chair to ensure I gave the most honest and accurate feedback. To put it straightforwardly, this chair is impressive. This is the third chair I have purchased, and I do believe it will be my last because I can’t imagine needing to try another one. I used to get uncomfortable sitting for long periods, either with aches and pains, even with those little egg sitter cushions, or I would be sweating from sitting for so long. When I went to remodel my work area to prepare for this next semester, I researched lots of different chairs, all the due-diligence stuff, and I finally came across this company and its chairs. I loved the design and the ability to make it fit anyone’s needs, and luckily, it was a company with a good reputation for ensuring customer satisfaction. So I placed my order and excitedly waited for my chair. The setup process was simple, and it comes with some extra tools to assemble and maintain over time, which is a plus. And it is a very sturdy, high-quality chair, and I’m bigger than the average human body. Anyways, I finally finished my assembly quickly and sat in my chair. The air hitting my backside through the mesh felt terrific, like a majestic swing. However, I did run into a slight problem, which I wanted to ignore because everything else exceeded my expectations. I’m 5’8, and when I would put the chair down, my feet weren’t on the ground all the way, leading to some aches and discomfort. I also noticed the way that I liked to slouch back in a chair (ironic considering I’m trying to be more ergonomic, haha) was a little uncomfortable with the way my body is shaped and its measurements. So I reached out to the company, provided them with some info, and within a month, they sent me a lumbar pillow (which is so comfortable I cannot put into words how it feels like it was made for my back) and then a shorter air valve thingy (the thing that makes the chair go up and down), and to my surprise, they also included a tool for me to use when removing the old air valve thingy, which was astonishing. I’m so happy that GABRYLLY has such a fantastic customer support team, which I’ve only ever heard of from the “back in my day” stories from my grandparents when companies would build things to last and build their reputation. So, even if this chair doesn’t fit your body proportions the way you’d like, you still have solutions, making this chair a fantastic purchase. I will update this chair closer to the holidays, hopefully with the same positive feedback.
Thank you to an OUTSTANDING company for finding this 5’ 8” 165 lb. all-day-sitter his daily driver. After spending way more time researching office chairs than anyone ever should, I found myself at the bottom of this insane chair review videos rabbit hole just to realize that money can’t buy good posture. Getting up, stretching and switching positions helped alleviate my lower back and neck pain more than anything and that’s why I don’t believe a $1,500+ chair is going to “cure” anyone. It’s also why I’m reviewing this Gabrylly chair, as well as the company. For less than $300 including a few add-ons, this chair has become my go-to in the office.In order, the reasons I bought this chair were the armrests, the headrest and the lumbar curve.ARMRESTS: Perfect for me as I only wanted flip and that’s key for a fidgeter. Flipping one up is great for sitting sideways or one leg under. Flipping BOTH can save space when under the desk or if you just want them gone for a bit. When partially flipped, they also stay in position well enough to be used as rests which allows me to use this chair as a makeshift stool. I raise the chair to the highest setting, lock in one of the recline positions and sit up on the front 1/3 of the seat. Hard to explain but once you get this chair, you may find more sitting options with flip-up arms than with 3D-4D-5D arms.HEADREST: Solid build and stays in place. Push button pivot hinge allows headrest to angle and slide fitting my head/neck perfectly, whether at 90 or recline position.LUMBAR CURVE: Not sure what to write about this other than that, for me, it feels GREAT! Other reviewers have pointed out that they need a pillow but, for me, this curve just works. I could never find the right adjustment with any other higher priced office chairs I’ve owned.BASE: Very solid base with foot grips. I find myself using the grips more times than not so now they’ve become a must have for me. I added rollerblade wheels which are 3” diameter and add about an inch to the chair height.COMPANY: As I am already considering buying a second chair from them and, because of a bad prior experience with a mesh office chair seat (Hyken) sinking too much too soon, I contacted Gabrylly by phone to see if I could PURCHASE a different seat base, if available. Not only did someone answer immediately but, when we were disconnected (my fault), the gentleman called me back to request my contact info so they could mail me a different seat cushion and e-mail tracking info. I missed the gentleman’s name but received follow-up emails from Jennie.NOTE: There is nothing wrong with the current mesh seat. In fact, it’s tighter and better shaped than my other two office chairs; however, the company heard my concerns and decided to send a foam seat anyway.From the instruction manual, tools provided, ease of assembly to the chair features/quality and the amazing after sales support, this company sets the bar as an Amazon vendor!Hope this review was helpful!
