Simple to build, looks great. I was thinking the shelf would come pre-built, but I was incorrect. I am a great handyman, so I wasn’t too worried. The instructions say that you need two people to build this, but I did it all by my lonesome just fine. The instructions kind of confused me at first until I started putting stuff together and then they were very understandable. It says to read all the instructions first before building, which I, of course, did not do. So, please do that and you will likely not have any confusion like I did.It took me very little time to put this shelf together and it looks very nice. It looks expensive and it is great quality for being such a low price. It is very sturdy, too. I didn’t like that the particle board back was not shown to need to have nails put in there to stay put with the shelf backs because it looked flubby with the three slats just being set together and only secured with the nails around the outer edges. So, I just marked the particle board back with a sharpie pen where the shelf was and then stuck some flat pins in there to secure it in the back better and it looks great. The instructions say to use a rubber mallet, which I did not have, so I used a hammer. The small nails are easily bent with a hammer, hence the instructions saying to use a rubber mallet. If you use a hammer, just be very gentle with hitting those little nails in. I bent a couple into disrepair or else I would have used those to secure my particle board to the back of the shelves and not flat tacks. There are also no extra screws, so be aware that you can’t lose any. This shelf is awesome, please buy!!

It’s cheesey, but to be expected for the price. I don’t know why I convinced myself that this was like a mate to a bookshelf I already had. I guess I saw the brass fasteners, and thought they were bigger bolts like my old shelf. Also, it’s impossible to find a medium wood finish these days. It’s either very dark or sun bleached driftwood colored & I like neither. This was the closest match to my other furniture I could find at a reasonable price. This is made of very thin and flimsy partical board. What it doesn’t tell you is that each shelf can only hold 15lbs, so I can’t pack it with college textbooks like I wanted to, but I still have a purpose for it. It’s also a little wobbly despite me tightening everything up real well, so load most of the weight on the bottom for stability. What really peeved me about this thing was the backing. It’s 3 strips of laminated cardboard. Wish it was 1, so there wouldn’t be any gaps between them. Also, the tacks they give you to hammer it on are pathetic. Some were missing heads & the tips where pressed, but still had extra metal attached to them making the holes they made excessively large. Also, the nails are so short that I had trouble holding them while tapping them in because otherwise I’d crush my fingers with the hammer. (I don’t even have big sausage fingers. I pitty those who do and try to build this thing.) Lastly, they do not give you near enough nails. They expect you to only put them around the outside perimeter of the back of the bookcase, but then that leaves gaps for things to fall through the back of the shelves, and diminishes the structural integrity of the whole thing. Luckily, I have a staple gun and made sure there where 3 tacks in each panel along each shelf. For example, they give you 16 nails, but when combined with my staples. I used 36 total, so the backing wouldn’t bulge and buckle. If it was 1 solid back piece I wouldn’t have had to use so many.
A NICE PIECE OF FUNITURE FOR THE MONEY. I LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT MY BOOKCASE!! THE SIZE IS JUST RIGHT WITHOUT OVER POWERING THE ROOM . ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS IS HOW EASY IT WAS TO ASSEMBLE. I AM A 77 YEAR OLD LADY AND PUT IT TOGETHER WITH THE EASY DIRECTIONS ALONE. NO ONE HELPED ME THAT WAS THE BEST PART NOT HAVING TO SIT AND WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO PUT IT TOGETHER FOR ME OR EVEN HELP ME. ALL YOU NEED IS A SCREWDRIVER AND A RUBBER HAMMER! THANKS TO THE MAKER FOR KEEPING THINGS SIMPLE AND PRETTY.
Difficult to assemble. I purchased this in March and it is still sitting in my living in a corner . The book case I assembled just fine but the desk I need and wasn’t able to assemble it properly. I needed someone to assist but I never got a reply . Don’t buy
It’s worth it. Amazon is amazing!! There was a oops and Amazon paid for both the return, but also had the replacement there when I got home, same day!!! Thank you Amazon for offering this item so I could buy it! Now my books and dad’s have a home. Thank you!!
Nice Quality. Bought this bookshelf in order to create a closet book nook for my daughter so it would free up space in our playroom, plus fill in the unused closet. The directions were easy to follow, no parts were missing, and it fit perfectly into the space I needed it to go in. Definitely a must by for those who want a bookshelf, but don’t have much space as it is fairly compact.Would by again if needed.
good size, relatively sturdy. the price is pretty good for the quality. it was very easy to assemble. i didnt need the instructions at all. i sanded it down and spray painted it to match the other furniture i have and its beautiful. i highly recommend.
It’s a Budget Bookshelf, So Manage Your Expectations. The FURINNO Basic 3-Tier Bookcase is like the furniture equivalent of instant ramen: it gets the job done cheaply, but don’t expect a gourmet experience. What’s Kinda Nice:Price is Right: Seriously, this thing is CHEAP. If you need storage on a dime, it’s hard to argue.Surprisingly Spacious: Fits a decent number of books or knick-knacks for its size.Image of FURINNO Basic 3Tier Bookcase Storage Shelves, French Oak Grey/BlackOpens in a new windowwww.amazon.comFURINNO Basic 3Tier Bookcase Storage Shelves, French Oak Grey/BlackEasy Assembly: If you can follow basic picture instructions, you can put this together (probably). What’s Not So Nice:Build Quality = Bare Minimum: Made of particleboard and laminate – it’s sturdy enough for light stuff, but don’t overload it.Style is… Absent: This isn’t fooling anyone into thinking it’s solid wood. Looks very utilitarian.
Fitted where I needed to put it. Easy to assemble, NOT built for a lot of use.Inexpensive materialsIn other words, don’t let you kids try to climb up it!. But, it does what I had in mind!
Easy setup with minimal tools. Myself and a buddy picked these up for our barracks while at pre deployment MOB down here in New Mexico, and they were cheap enough so that if we wind up having to toss them it’s not a big loss… but they’ve been great to have for getting things organized in the meantime rather than living completely out of our bags!! And they were super easy to put together with just a multi tool! Which is a huge plus, since that’s all we had on hand currently.. lol but the quality is actually quite good for the cost! And they get the job done! We’ll probably be ordering more when we get overseas!
Little Gaps. This is a decent build, but it doesn’t feel very sturdy, and all the pieces didn’t align. For example, the bottom lip was not completely straight, and shows exposed particle wood on both ends. The back faces would be better to come with more nails to secure the middle piece, because a book or something can fall in between and open it.There are little gaps that could have been avoided in the design. Again the back plates are not flush, and have little gaps at the top and bottom ends. The bottom lip of the bookshelf has a very small gap underneath from the floor. All these gaps will be prone to bugs and dust and too hard to clean because they don’t open. The assembly is not very good to dissemble if you need to move because the back will be nailed in. And the sockets for the screws are just exposed wood, it would be better to be lined with metal to prevent cracking in the wood. And the bottom lip is flimsy and cracked when screwing.Overall, it looks good from a distance, but structurally it doesn’t feel sturdy or designed seemless.

amazing shelf quality and sturdiness. this shelf is amazing. it is very sturdy and can hold a lot of things, great fit for my room.
does the job. Recently moved and my prior cabinet bookshelves didnt survive the journey so I needed something even if just temporary to house my huge collection of design books. Wanted something inexpensive yet capable and these seed to fit the bill. Ordered two seperate styles, the first was a four shelf version, second was a three shelf. Was seriously disapointed in the four shelf version for the individual shelves arent adjustable and cant fit taller(average) books upright. They have to be put in on their sides which is damaging for paperback ones. Weirdly the three shelf version is the same height yet easily fits books upright with even a little extra space above them. Obviously I will never order the four shelf version again for this reason. Also keep in mind these are particle board and already the four shelf version, the shelves are already “bowing” from weight of my books. Disappointing. The three shelf version upon arrival was damaged. Has a chunk split upon the top right corner and various “chips” upon the side walls and shelves. I ordered a “used” good condition one so guess I cant really complain. As such the pricing was under thirty bucks and guess its worth what was paid. Honestly though even in new condition these are not worth more than thirty bucks. Theyre also a adhesive laminate paper over bare particle board and in some spots the adhesive laminate paper is already peeling up. Will definitely be replacing these at a later date with something of better quality and thicker more sturdy shelves. If you dont need them to store a lot of books, or just for displaying items they should work ok. They were very easy to assemble by myself, even if not all the predrilled holes were drilled correctly. Some werent drilled at all. They did arrive pretty quickly. overall they will do whats needed for now but honestly if you can afford something more durable I would choose elsewise. Definitely a cheaply built product not meant to last. They do look nice when assembled at least.

Decent. I like this book shelf for a number of reasons, it fits anywhere for starters, it’s also simple and easy to setup, it might not be strong or fully sturdy, but it serves the purpose.
Easy to install. Beautiful. Easy to install looked beautiful and Exactly what I was looking for
Very Nice Book Case. I am very happy with this book case. It is somewhat small and just the right size for some one who might want one for a dorm or small studio apartment. It fits nicely into a corner or a small space. Even though I was not looking for something small, it is a nice size and can fit a good amount of books. It has a stronger more solid construction than many of the book cases that have pegs that the shelves rest on. This one has the shelves being screwed into the sides of the book case, which I feel gives more support than the flimsy peg construction. It was also easy to put together. I got the grey one and it is a nice neutral color. I would definitely order it again and recommend it !
Good basic bookshelf. Nice looking bookshelf. Not solid wood but works great for what I needed it for. Fairly easy to assemble.

Decent, worth $20. The process to build it is pretty easy. I’d recommend doing it with another person just to level it. The only issue is the wood is cheap, to be expected it’s a cheap product. So I did have to drill in some new holes since the others chipped. Aesthetically? It’s solid. Holds my books fine. I probably didn’t make the shelves exactly even but it works. There are other shelves that have premade holes and holders for the shelves, so you have no worry with those if the shelves will be leveled. Would recommend those over this.

Easy to put together and looks sturdy. Easy instructions and only needed a second set of hands for one part. Looks sturdy enough for books and some plants. Great price.
