Shoddy product. Update: After I got it all put together, it’s been working fine. So I’m bumping by one star.I bought this based on the reviews. What a disappointment. First, the hole for the leg holder pin was out of line with the other part. They had tried to drill out the hole somewhat to get that to fit. It still didn’t. After shoving and pushing, I finally managed to get it in, but it was not sturdy at all. It really needs something more than a non-locking pin there. When you sit on the end of it, it’s not stable, so the middle (between the two flat part) pushes up an inch or two. Finally, I lay down on it, hadn’t got my weights yet, and it collapsed! Turns out I hadn’t screwed in the spring-loaded adjustment pin. Normally the screw on those is more a backup than a part of the security mechanism. After doing that, I was scared to put my weights over my head! I finally screwed it in, and did my workout, but I was always afraid that if the pin released, I’d crush my head. It remained stable-ish, but still, I would Not recommend this weight bench.

Use Common Sense. I decided to write a review because I’ve seen a lot of people that simply aren’t using common sense with this product.I’ve used this bench for incline bench press, flat press, thrust, step ups, crunches, OHP, pullovers, etc. I am a fitness trainer and workout 4x a week. I’ve bench press with 60# dumbells, 150# barbells and I weigh 235# using this bench. This is a solid bench. There are 2 very important things that must be done to assure your safety.1. Use ALL the pins needed for the fold hinge and the seat. The fold hinge pin is critical to assure the bench doesn’t fold on you.2. Screw the back board spring pin COMPLETELY into place. Its a screw mechanism and if your only half screwing it you put yourself at danger with the hinge slipping loose. This bench will work great if you use common sense. The pins are needed for a reason. The screw has to be firmly screwed in for a reason.Very solid for the price and folds up nicely for storage. Folding is easy when you get used to it. Remove all the pins and keep the spring load pin pulled, hold up and pull seat down. Will fold in less than 10 seconds.Come straight out the box with no assembly required and instructions on which pins is for which hole.

Good Bench, folds up neatly and compactly. Very minor stability issue if you sit on the head part. This bench is decent and I don’t really have any complaints. I don’t have a full gym but I have dumbbells and I wanted it so I can do dumbbell bench press with incline and decline. It works great and it folds up pretty compactly when I need to tuck it away although I got in the habit of just leaving it out and sliding it into the corner. My only complaint is that if I sit on the part where my head should be while it’s flat. The bench will slightly bend in the middle like it would when you are folding it up for storage. That makes me wonder if I was benching some heavy weights, like 200 lbs, if the bench would move like that on me while I’m lifting, I think that would be unsafe. So far that hasn’t been an issue when I have bench pressed the pair of 50 lb dumbbells that I have.
Does the job. Bought this for my wife. She works from home and has the bonus room as her office. Easy to put together and has held up fine after a month. I would recommend; hard to beat the price
