Great Suction, Great Mapping, Great Vac. The media could not be loaded. We had a Shark robovac for 2 years. A couple of months ago it stopped operating properly. No firmware updates or resets would help. With 2 retrievers and a small house, I needed a replacement, and fast. Using the upright once a day just doesn’t cut it.After doing loads of research, and also having a great experience with another Eufy product (security cameras), I decided to go for it during the Black Friday sales. It took forever to get here, but today it arrived and it was super easy to set up.It comes really well packaged with simple, easy to follow instructions. Plug in the base unit, place the vac against it, and download the app while you wait for it to charge. Connecting to WiFi is seamless. After you update firmware and it has a full charge, press the “clean” button and off it goes. The realtime map it creates is accurate, and you can even watch the wee vac make its laps on the app. The app is heads and tails above the Shark’s.But the most important part – the cleaning. Suction power is fabulous. It even leaves beautiful track patterns on my area rugs. I can’t find any dog hair on my floors, and it left no corner unturned. It emptied twice into the bagged canister (which I love!), and multiple times performed a cleaning of the brush rollers during the vacuuming process.Compared to the Shark it is quiet. It’s solidly made, and doesn’t struggle to return to the base or dock like my Shark did.If the Eufy vac continues to perform this well, I’ll be thrilled. I’m very impressed with Eufy products. If you are looking for a robovac that does it’s job, look no further.Edited to show the app in action. I love watching it zip around my house. Yes I’m boring haha.

I have 2 huskies and this was great to keep the hair down to a minimum. It does a perfect job on a regular basis. When my dogs are shedding heavily, it does however leave some long hair behind but overall, it’s a great little vacuum!

This is one of the best ones I have bought! I had the earlier version of eufy and that was amazing and this one surpasses all my expectation. Best product ever. It came in good packing also and in good condition.

Great compared to others in its class. Eufy (and Anker) has impressed me with its products, from cameras to robot vacuums. The X8 Pro is well designed and sleek. It does an excellent job vacuuming, even in a house with 4 dogs, and a decent job mopping. The app is user friendly and offers great features, such as being able to create various zones and schedule cleaning multiple times per day. You can also add maps for multiple floors and can easily move the device from one floor to another. After owning Shark and Samsung bots, I would rank Eufy above all in similar classes.A few downsides are that it can be too loud at times compared to the others. Not just with suction and auto emptying, but also with its cleaning process and bumping into things. The mopping is decent, but I recommend that the water bin and mopping pad should be changed and cleaned after every room mopped. The app also requires changing modes between mopping and vacuuming, after setting no mop zones, as well as hardware changes, which are easy compared to competitors in the same class. Emptying the dust bag can be a tedious process. Eufy probably chose their dust bags for great reasons (health and financial gains from customers long term), but trying to continually reuse them is a hassle as ther are not easy to empty. All that being said, I devided to return and upgrade to the Eufy S1 Pro and I am glad I did. Excellent cleaning, especially mopping, same great app and features, no issue with the noise, great object avoidance and obstacle detection, even better sleek design (although bigger, but it is worth it). The bag reuse is still the same, but the water bins are much easier to empty and far more convenient. Oh, and the S1 Pro can mop floors and vacuum carpets in one run without changing settings for one or the other in the app, and without changing hardware. The S1 Pro (on sale when I purchased) is a far better product, but at almost triple the cost. The X8 Pro is a great product in its class for its price and I would recommend to anyone with a pet or two and is looking for minimal to no mopping.

Great customer service. I got this a few months ago to replace a robo-vac from a different brand that had broken down. The Eufy is super easy to set up and has been very reliable so far. It seems to clean in a random pattern but doesn’t miss many spots. It picks up most dirt and dust on our hardwood floors, but it’s not as good at picking up pet hair. We had a minor issue that needed customer service and they were great. Good customer service is rare these days and these guys went way above and beyond and took excellent care of us. For that reason alone, I would recommend this vac.
