Great bags, durable, and eco-friendly. I’m so relieved there are companies making biodegradable poop bags. These are high-quality, durable bags. I was fostering a dog who produced some rather hefty piles of dog waste – and I had no problem with ripped bags or anything. Now I also have piece of mind that when I use them, they’re not just going to end up in a landfill preserved forever.I actually tested them as well. I cleaned up some poo and let a bag sit outside in the sun for about 2-3 days. The bag was in-tact, no leakage – OR smell. I hope this doesn’t reflect poorly on biodegradability, but it is good to know they aren’t going to degrade in your trash the next day. The way these bags physically feel definitely seems like they’re vegetable based – that’s just my perception and it’s hard to explain. Finally, a suggestion for the manufacturer. There’s one thing you can change that would make this THE ONLY waste bag worth buying. Change the design from a rectangle to a GLOVE. Seriously, I don’t understand why dog poo bags are not shaped like GLOVES so that it’s easier to pick up larger piles in one fell swoop. As it stands, all bags now are more akin to “thumbless” mittens, which makes it really hard to get a good range of motion when you’re cleaning up. Seriously, use a glove-like design and then crush the competition.
Mostly happy. Upon receiving, I was happy to have a new dispenser and a set of bags that were earth friendly! About a week or so after, I realized how cheap the metal clasp was made, as it lost it’s “spring” and would fall off the handle of the leash. So, I just made sure to keep triple checking on our walks it was still attached – as I have a 6 month old puppy that gets excited frequently and likes to jump at dogs, humans, squirrels, bunnies, birds and basically anything that breathes/moves.Today, upon our walk back – I noticed it was not attached. We are having a horrible air quality index in Chicago so the last thing I wanted to do was retrace our steps – but it was my last roll – and a FRESH roll at THAT – so I really didn’t want to lost the roll plus the dispenser.Welp, retraced steps and someone definitely swiped it. -_-So, glad I held on to the old dispenser I have from Earth Rated, that velcro strip is worth it and the bottom screws on so it will never POP off if it hits the concrete like THIS one has done at least 3x! Disappointed in the cheapness of the dispenser + lanyard – because if the lanyard falls off the leash – when the dispenser hits concrete the bottom falls off and the bags fall out and it is really fun when you have a 6 month old puppy pulling you towards a dog/squirrel/whatever when you’re trying to collect three elements, maneuver them back together and get that awkward lanyard that won’t spring to clasp back on your thick leash handle…..love the bags, hate the dispenser/lanyard. This company should get better quality lanyards or do velcro – because I am sure I am not the first this has happened to. A replacement dispenser would be nice, but do I really want another cheap dispenser and lanyard to lose again?
Best poop bags we’ve found. We’ve tried several brands of dog poop bags, and these work the best. We get the 200 count big roll, which are easy to tear off, without ripping the bag. They seem very shelf stable, and we haven’t had issues with them starting to compost before use. They are easy to open without having to wet your fingers, unlike some bags that are a huge pain. But the best part is that they have a nice wide opening, making it easy to pick up the poo and invert the bag.
Large size sturdy bags. I Like these bags because they are large enough for a large mans hands. They are sturdy and easy to take one bag from the roll. I have been using them for more than two years and am still happy with them.I hope you will enjoy them also as we need more responsible pet owners to use bags that have biodegradability.
Used to be good – Now fall apart in my hands – UPDATED Great customer service. I have had these bags on autoship for a while and a they were great, but this last batch is absolutely worthless. When I got to open the bag it literally rips wherever I touch it. It’s been every single roll in this new box. Completely un-usable. Very disappointed in the sudden decline in quality.UPDATE: Great Customer Service – very happyAfter writing this review customer service reached out and apologized, explaining that a bad batch had been sent out from their manufacturer before they caught the fault in quality. I was issued a refund and a new box of bags to show that the quality is back to its prior standard (it is! no longer ripping apart). I will continue ordering now — I appreciate the good customer service and fast and professional response on their part.
Biodegradable. I love that these bags are made of cornstarch and therefore are biodegradable. They hold up nicely and don’t rip when I’m picking up poop. I keep a roll in the car, too, for cleaning up food messes.
Best dog poop bags I’ve ever tried. I’ve been using these Doggy Do Good bags for 3 years. I’ve tried MANY before, during, and after that time. These are by far the best, hands down. They are big, but also get wider at the opening which is a huge plus. Most poop bags go straight up from the bottom, which can make pulling your hand full of poo challenging to pull back through the opening. Because of the extra width, it also makes it easy to twist up either into a single knot, or you can even twist it into two ends and tie a regular knot. That’s one of the best things about them imo. They are thick too. Some are so thin you feel like you’re practically touching poop with your bare hands 😝I have one pictured with another compostable brand to show how DDG gets wider at the opening. Now Pet N Pet isn’t bad. I’ve used them before, and it’s what my daughter buys because they’re cheaper. I will use them from time to time and I’m ok with it. They are wider at the bottom, so even though they go straight up they’re at least big enough for me to get my full hand back through. They’re quite a it thinner though. One thing though about the Doggy Do Good poop bags, they recently changed them up slightly with the printing and changed the box label. Right before that, they had a bad batch. I unfortunately got about 3-4 boxes of those bad ones. I knew something must be wrong, because they had been so reliable for years. I reached out to the company directly and told them what was going on. There was tearing and ripping issues, and I did end up having a bag fail mid pickup; the last thing in the world anyone wants to have happen! It was so disgusting 🤢 They of course were extremely apologetic and immediately sent me replacement boxes. They encouraged me to order from them directly, but 1) they kept being out of stock of the bags and wipes I use and 2) with my Amazon subscription pricing it was slightly less money last time I checked. If that changes, I will definitely order from them directly as I always prefer that. My point is, if you get a box that looks different from the picture on the product page, be wary. You’ll know as soon as you try to tear a bag if it’s the old defective ones. It’s been several months, so I’m pretty sure those have been replaced by now. Just a heads up.Oh, as for composting, I don’t generally use them for that. However, I was staying in Vermont for about half a year where they had industrial composting drop off. They took dog poop and cat litter! I know, sounds odd , but I learned that with industrial composting you can put that kind of stuff in there because of the high temperature process. I was keeping the full poop bags in a can lined with large compostable bags that I then took to the drop off. Of course I’ll never know how well they broke down, but I appreciated the ability to do that and not put it in the landfill. My main reason for using compostable bags was the hope that it could be at least slightly better for the environment even going into the landfill. It was a bonus for me that they are also the best!
Great Quality Poop Bags… But Apparently, My Husband Needs Smaller Ones. I love these poop bags! They’re sturdy, easy to open, and just the right size for picking up after our dog without any unpleasant surprises. Plus, they’re eco-friendly, which makes me feel like I’m doing a little extra good with every scoop! However, my husband, who seems to have developed his own scientific standards for poop bag dimensions, thinks they’re “too big.” I guess he prefers something that’s more… precise for the task at hand. So now we have a drawer with an unnecessary poop bag divide—mine on the left (clearly superior), and his on the right (questionably small). All in all, if you’re looking for a good-quality poop bag that doesn’t feel like it’s going to disintegrate mid-scoop, these are fantastic! But if you have a partner with strong opinions on bag size, be prepared for some debate.
Great bags. What I like best about these dog poop bags, especially compared to other bags I’ve used, is their larger size. We have big dogs and these bags are WIDE enough at the opening to accommodate the over large waste, and make it easier to pick up. The fact that they are bio-degradable is great too. These are the best bags that I have found. Easy to recommend.

Best poop bags. I’m a dog walker and these are the easiest to open, and the strongest
The Best Doggy Bag. These bags are super large, nice and soft, AND block out some of the doo scent! Best of all: they’re NOT MADE OF OBSOLETE PETROLEUM!
Just amazing. The best best best poop bags! These are made with quality and they are life saviors
Defective box of bags. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like I can contact the seller directly. We order these bags in advance and just opened a box. We’ve had the closed box for about 6 months. We’ve liked this brand in the past but this box was full of defective bags. They split open down the sides as you’re trying to open them for use. Definitely something wrong with these. It should be easier to contact the manufacturer. I went to their website and there’s no customer service connection. Very disappointing.
Great bags. Great bags. Good size, easy to tie, and strong. Eco friendly so you can be a responsible dog owner and still care about the environment.
