working GREAT so far. Indications: our baby girl (53lbs) has chronic eczema as well as seb derm. she flares up seems during same time of year w/ little flare ups in between. the condition needs to be managed on a routine basis w/a shampoo and she is also on biologic medication (via injection) which seems to be working but may need to be administered again as needed. Our vet said the results vary and some may need just once a year or a few times a year or maybe never again so we shall see. we were giving both our dogs oral Omegas every day for overall skin/coat, etc. our vet said that the topicals were actually the better way to go and suggested this brand. we purposely started this well after the other management methods so that we could tell if this made a difference. (if you start too many treatments at once, there may be improvement but then you can’t tell which one is actually making the difference, etc). we are using as directed which is once a week for 2 mos and then reduce to every 2 weeks. this DOES seem to make a difference in general in her overall skin improvement and it has a nice, herbal type smell which is very pleasant. ***it says do not bathe for a few days before or after application for full effect***

This stuff is the real deal – IT WORKS. I have a 3-year old Silver Lab who has had skin/fur issues on and off for the past few years. I purchased this product after reading a previous review (a few reviews down) of another silver lab that this product worked for. Silver labs are a diluted color breed that are notorious for skin/coat issues. Oliver has had issues with thinning coat, itchiness, and patchiness that come in waves as the seasons change – nothing that has affected his health, but annoyances that both he and I (and other people) notice. He was tested for a thyroid issue and those tests came back normal. I’ve tried everything the vet has recommended – switching to a salmon-based food, allergy shots, allergy tablets, fish oil pills, medicated shampoo, conditioner, etc and nothing has really treated the problem completely. The veterinarian finally said that it was just how he is and something I’d have to live with. I finally decided to try this when he lost an old-man style patch on the top of his head.I did the 8 week recommended program with Dermoscent and it really is a miracle. I don’t usually write reviews online but if your dog is struggling with any skin/coat issues, you need to give this a try. All of the problems you see in the pictures are gone. No more spotting, no more hair loss, no more itching, and on top of that, his coat has thickened significantly and is very shiny. It looks HEALTHY. The hair on the top of his head filled in as well, which is something I was worried would never come back. This product also has a pleasing scent and is easy to apply (just once a week for 8 weeks).Now that the 8 weeks is over I’ll be watching for any issues and if they do happen I will be sure to buy it again. Good product. It helped my frenchie grow back her fur. She lost a lot of fur on her chest, after 6 weeks of treatment I saw the difference. I will recommended.

Helped reduce my pups itchy skin. My Golden Retriever puppy has had dry flaky skin since we brought her home 3 months ago. This was recommended by our vet, It does seem to decrease the itching and maybe the flaking slightly but it hadn’t cured it. It smells like pleasant like essential oils. It takes a while to absorb though, so you will have a greasy patch in that area. I suggest doing it before bed.

Treats dry skin. This has been doing a good job at helping my dogs skin. She has an issue with her belly getting itchy and dry. This has helped a great deal for her.
